To everyone asking if they can use this with retinol. She said in video you can! She recommended using retinol at night and this product in morning, just make sure you apply sunscreen afterwards. I would also recommend, because my skin is very sensitive to alternate the days using this and retinol. If you use this product tonight, use retinol tomorrow night! Good luck! I love Cerave!!

I make stupid skincare mistakes when I get curious about new products -- I thought a BHA would solve my problems... So I overused it. My skin was dry, so I slathered on moisturizers that I *thought* would be nourishing. What I was left with was skin that always seemed dry/flaky no matter what, and clogged pores and breakouts. Then I had to start using more Panoxyl and wearing more makeup, which made it worse. Long story short I am going back to basics and seeing improvement in congestion and dryness. Products I am loving: -Cerave Cream to Foam cleanser, and double cleansing -Cerave Daily Lotion, or Aveeno Oat Gel Moisturizer -Paula's Choice BHA salicylic acid 2-3x per week if I am noticing blackheads/congestion -Peach and Lilly refining serum as needed -just added this Cerave Nightly Exfoliating Treatment and plan to use 2-3x per week. My wedding is in 5 months so I'm going to stick with this, stop getting curious about new products, and pray for the best!

My skin does really, really well with CeraVe and I've been using the cleanser and moisturizer for about 10 years. When my skin acts up from makeup or otherwise, CeraVe to the rescue. The only product I don't like is their eye cream. I have most of my routine CeraVe products on autodelivery through Amazon with a 15% discount.

I've only gotten a sunburn twice in my life.. the first time I was on the lake, in a boat, for hours as a kid. And the second time I unknowingly used glycolic acid in a skin mist before going to the beach. It was rough. (Yes I used sunscreen)
I wouldn't even use (low percentage) AHA's under spf 50 sunscreen in Australia. I did it one time without thinking and my face was burning. I can't wait for the ozone layer to come back one day... the difference to burning in Australia vs Greece had me literally gobsmacked when I travelled abroad. Australian and NZ sun is savage. I start burning after 15 minutes.

I’m 21weeks pregnant and would love to see a video on infant skincare 😍 My son had horrible eczema as a newborn and we was told to change our detergents and soaps but wasn’t given any natural skin safe alternatives so we wasted a lot of money on trail and error but he still has eczema flares at 2 years old. I would love to hear about your thoughts and recommendations on newborn/infant/toddler skincare. We’ve learned over the years that any Johnson & Johnson products are a NO GO lol

I got this and its great so far except Found the pump to not work at all-i have the Cerave retinol and it seems to have the same pump, but that one works.

Niacinamide is not what causes the burning and irritation in CeraVe products. All CeraVe products burn my skin, but I can use Bioderma and LRP products with Niacinamide high on the ingredient list with no issues. I think the culprit is the low molecular weight HA in CeraVe products
CVS had a bogo 40% off sale and i picked this up today, along w the old trusty hydrating cleanser. Starting it tonight. I used to use nip & fab glycolic acid pads but it stunk lol so hopefully this doesn't have a weird scent.
I love CeraVe products. The Skin Renewing Night Cream is usually the only cream that will not burn my skin after using strong prescription Retin-A. Thanks for doing this analysis Dr. Dray!!! Your skin is smooth and glowing. Don't forget to remind us what you are using at the moment. :)

Is salicylic cleanser safe to use with the CeraVe Night Renewing Treatment, or should super gentle creamy cleansers be used instead? Yes, I've used it, am using it. I find tho' I slather & reapply zinc sunscreen that the sunspots darken. Perhaps salicylic cleanser is too much w the Night Renewing Treatment? Positive note: seems hyaluronic acid moisturizer is super absorbed when using the Night Renewing. Face is SO plumped up!!😍

Hello Dr Dray. This is my AM skin care routine: (after I wash my face) I use the 1. Timeless vitamin C serum + Ferulic acid , 2. followed by the Ordinary Lactic acid 10 % and then 3. the CoQu10 serum before I use my 4. sunscreen. I am 66 years old and I have been using Retin A ( in the evening ) since I was in my 40s and the above regimen for almost two years with excellent results. Where do you think I could fit the CeraVe Exfoliating cream you just reviewed? Would that be in lieu of one of the products I already use? Any chance you could do a video on teen acne using OTC treatments? My son doesn't want to use the Biacna his GP prescribed because it made his acne much worse. I currently have him using Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant followed by The Ordinary Niacinamide 10%+Zinc1%. It has made a small -moderate difference but I wonder if this is the best treatment option? I don't want him to end up with scarring on his beautiful face! Thanks so much!
Hey Dr. Dray! Can you please review COTZ sensitive non-tinted mineral sunscreen SPF 40? I’ve found that this is the only sunscreen my skin can tolerate and I want others to know about it! I have Fitzpatrick photo type 1 skin that is very sensitive to fragrances, chemical sunscreens, etc the list goes on, I am acne prone and have combo skin. All tinted sunscreens are too dark for my skin type so I have to use the non-tinted version of things. Took me forever to weed through so many different mineral sunscreens before I found one that was gentle on the skin, had enough zinc oxide, didn’t make me break out, and layered well under make up! I also use tretinoin which makes my skin more prone to irritation! So go COTZ my forever sunscreen! Hope you see this! 💕

I'm waiting for the purple line to come to Australia 🇦🇺 we can get it online but its expensive. Apparently it's coming here in 2022 I use tretanoin I'm 58 have naturally dry skin. I use the crrevae moisturising cream on my face day and night best cream I've used I use to use high end which were not good like cervae. I get commented on my skin all the time since using it can't wait to try the purple night renewal cream and exfoliating.

Can you tell me how having my hormones altered (through a surgery for endometriosis gone wrong) could have caused rapid aging? I’d been taking care of my skin since my teens, and could have passed for for 10 years minus my age before the surgery. I lost all my face fat and have lines-out of nowhere! I like the fact that the Cerave Acne Control Gel is a BHA/AHA. I'm going to give that one a try.

We used Balmonds Skin Salvation on our son, he had ezcema on his neck and found this works wonders.

Niacinamide is not what causes the burning and irritation in CeraVe products. All CeraVe products burn my skin, but I can use Bioderma and LRP products with Niacinamide high on the ingredient list with no issues. I think the culprit is the low molecular weight HA in CeraVe products

CVS had a bogo 40% off sale and i picked this up today, along w the old trusty hydrating cleanser. Starting it tonight.
I used to use nip & fab glycolic acid pads but it stunk lol so hopefully this doesn't have a weird scent.
I love CeraVe products. The Skin Renewing Night Cream is usually the only cream that will not burn my skin after using strong prescription Retin-A. Thanks for doing this analysis Dr. Dray!!! Your skin is smooth and glowing. Don't forget to remind us what you are using at the moment. :)

When she buys a product line, she typically uses it for months before her review. To give a comprehensive review instead of a first hand impression. Probably she will create the video in the next few weeks-months if she took the time and money to try and purchase these products.

I would love to get your thoughts on aveeno new cleanser and daily moisturizer. .new items. O wasn't a big fan of calm and retore. The cleanser was ok,, gentle as it claims,but the moisturizer seemed more drying to the skin

Cerave literally cured my dermatitis
I use the retinol serum from the purple line. I have been wanting to incorporate AHA's into my routine. Can I alternate these two on different nights, if I do not want to wear this in the morning?

Is salicylic cleanser safe to use with the CeraVe Night Renewing Treatment, or should super gentle creamy cleansers be used instead? Yes, I've used it, am using it. I find tho' I slather & reapply zinc sunscreen that the sunspots darken. Perhaps salicylic cleanser is too much w the Night Renewing Treatment?
Positive note: seems hyaluronic acid moisturizer is super absorbed when using the Night Renewing. Face is SO plumped up!!😍

Hello Dr Dray. This is my AM skin care routine: (after I wash my face) I use the 1. Timeless vitamin C serum + Ferulic acid , 2. followed by the Ordinary Lactic acid 10 % and then 3. the CoQu10 serum before I use my 4. sunscreen. I am 66 years old and I have been using Retin A ( in the evening ) since I was in my 40s and the above regimen for almost two years with excellent results. Where do you think I could fit the CeraVe Exfoliating cream you just reviewed? Would that be in lieu of one of the products I already use? Or..... do you think there is no need to introduce this CeraVe Exfoliating cream in my routine? Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and your passion for a healthy and youthful skin.
Would you consider this an alternate to the Derma E Overnight Peel? I really liked it but it has Lemon Peel Oil.
I would considerit an alternative, Good molecules also has an overnight exfoliating treatment that she recommends and I do too.

Any chance you could do a video on teen acne using OTC treatments? My son doesn't want to use the Biacna his GP prescribed because it made his acne much worse. I currently have him using Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant followed by The Ordinary Niacinamide 10%+Zinc1%. It has made a small -moderate difference but I wonder if this is the best treatment option? I don't want him to end up with scarring on his beautiful face! Thanks so much!

Hey Dr. Dray! Can you please review COTZ sensitive non-tinted mineral sunscreen SPF 40? I’ve found that this is the only sunscreen my skin can tolerate and I want others to know about it! I have Fitzpatrick photo type 1 skin that is very sensitive to fragrances, chemical sunscreens, etc the list goes on, I am acne prone and have combo skin. All tinted sunscreens are too dark for my skin type so I have to use the non-tinted version of things. Took me forever to weed through so many different mineral sunscreens before I found one that was gentle on the skin, had enough zinc oxide, didn’t make me break out, and layered well under make up! I also use tretinoin which makes my skin more prone to irritation! So go COTZ my forever sunscreen! Hope you see this! 💕

I'm waiting for the purple line to come to Australia 🇦🇺 we can get it online but its expensive. Apparently it's coming here in 2022 I use tretanoin I'm 58 have naturally dry skin. I use the crrevae moisturising cream on my face day and night best cream I've used I use to use high end which were not good like cervae. I get commented on my skin all the time since using it can't wait to try the purple night renewal cream and exfoliating.

Hi, Dr. Dray! I love watching your vids. You could sell petroleum to Vaseline! Can you tell me how having my hormones altered (through a surgery for endometriosis gone wrong) could have caused rapid aging? I’d been taking care of my skin since my teens, and could have passed for for 10 years minus my age before the surgery. I lost all my face fat and have lines-out of nowhere! Can this be remedied somehow? One naturopath suggested it was a loss of progesterone. THANKS!

Interesting to note that a number of Cerave products, including this one, aren't available in the UK. Not sure why.
Seen today the Retinol Serum and Blemish Cleanser are available in Boots. I think we are slowly catching up, must be something to do with the ingredients? The names of the products are always slightly different when they come over here.

At night after cleansing I apply indeed hydraluron serum, and licorice based serum (can't remember the name right now) then Cerave moisturizer. Wondering if I can use this Cerave exfoliating product as well, and if so in what order. Have sensitive skin. TYVM Dr. Dray
