I wonder how many thousands of dollars of dermatology advice you've given over your time on UA-cam... You are really are a skin savior to so many. I hope that good karma consistently is coming back to you ❤️
For those if us who cant afford to visit our own dermatologists as much as we'd like to, you are quite literally, a gift. Thank you so much for all the vital information we need to make informed choices in our skincare! You've actually saved me so much money. I have all my favorite videos you've done saved for further reference. Thank you so much, once again#
I used to work in a high end beauty store, specifically in the skincare department. For YEARS I would stick my nose up to cheaper brands, assuming they didn’t work solely on the price tag. You have completely opened my mind to everything! I’ve ditched my $200+ items for Cerave, La Roche P, and VASELINE! My skin has NEVER looked better. Thank you! You are a rockstar!
I recently stopped buying high end skin care products because I started to really read the ingredient lists, and most of the time the cheaper brands have the same exact ingredients, or very similar anyway. I just couldn’t afford to keep giving my money to some person, or company, who is already filthy rich lol. I’m done paying for a “name” on a package. I have better things to spend my money on.
Just a thought 💭 You should consider a complete AM&PM skin care line. As well as mineral sunscreen. Call it Dr. Dray MD Skin Care. I would definitely purchase it ...
I bought and used the CeraVe skin renewing night cream last night. My skin was still so soft and hydrated when I got up this morning. That is one nice product!
This time a week ago the skin on my face was so dry and itchy I was nearly in tears. I desperately sought information on extremely dry skin and came across your videos. I am 49 years old and my skin seems to have multiple personality disorder these days. It seems that my skin is different on any given day. With my "extremely dry skin crisis" I felt hopeless. As a nurse I truly appreciate the level of detail you provide on what different ingredients do or don't do for your skin in your videos. After watching this particular video I went out and bought the Cerave Moisturizing cream and the Night Renewal Cream. The effect on my horribly dry skin was immediate! I am so extraordinarily grateful that you take the time to do these videos. They are so helpful and entertaining. Thank you, thank you, a thousand times THANK YOU!!
You should have your own skin care line with fun names like "the no nonsense cleanser" and "the sunscreen and reapply spf" ooh and maybe "fun" products like a "living on the edge face mask" 😀
Your detailed info is second to non. Iv watched other Derms but nothing compares to you with your explanations! You give answers. Facts. Info. USEFUL info. I always always come away knowing more. Your passion shines through. You. Are. Awesome.
Yay for this video! My mom said she needed a new night cream and I said get CeraVe in the tub. Before she started using it she showed it to me and asked if it was the right one. Well it wasn’t the moisturizing cream in the tub, she bought this new purple night cream. I put on my Dr. Dray eyes lol and looked at the ingredients. No offending fragrance or oils so I said it should work fine. Glad your review backs me up 😂. Thank you for sharing your time and talent!!!!!
Excellent review as always. You have completely changed my whole view on skincare and spending large amounts of money on expensive creams when it just isn't necessary to get results.
Over the weekend, I watched a new video that was posted by a fairly prominent individual that does a lot of skincare videos. The topic was retinol, and how to use it, product suggestions, etc. The words retinoid and retinol were thrown around here and there, interchangeably. Ten years ago, I probably would have eaten up that information, and bought some really expensive products. I’m so glad to have grown up with a bit less influence coming from the internet. On the contrary, there are people like you who make the web a particularly great resource! No wonder there are so many people that complain of sensitive skin these days. In my humble opinion, people are just putting too much on their faces. 😬
The gel oil is amazing for dry skin and doesn't make me break out even though it feels oily. If my skin is itchy or irritated this is amazing. The ceramides fix your skin so quick. I use it right when I get out of the shower on my super dry skin and by the time I lotion and get dressed it's sinned in and I carry on with my normal skincare. Perfect for winter!
I am soooo glad I found your videos. Especially the ones for those of us with mature skin. I am a 65 year old woman and have spent a ton of money over the last few years trying to find night creams, day creams, anti-aging creams, etc. Thank you for setting me straight regarding nothing is "anti-aging". I suspected that but...was hoping. I am dumping all the creams and such into the garbage and taking your suggestions regarding the Cerave products. Actually, I don't think I will be buying any makeup or anything else for my face without first consulting your videos. Thank you sooo much. And please, continue adding information for those of us who have become "Wiser".
Yes! Yes! The renewing night cream is the most amazing, moisturizing eye cream! I've used it almost 2 years and haven't had a single eczema out break on my eyelids since; it's the only thing that has kept my eczema at bay. Thank you for another informative video on drugstore skincare ❤
Click Thumbs up for Dr. Dray's video, y'all! I haven't even finished the video yet, and I am delighted that she listened to our request and made this video. I smashed that thumbs up within the first 2 seconds.
Dr. Dray, since starting to listen to you 6 months ago, my family has been wondering when I went to dermatology school! Lol! Can’t tell you enough how appreciative we all are to have found you! ❤️
Tub Cerave will always be my first love- but this night cream sounds perfect for dry winters. I’ve keep 2 humidifiers running when I’m home, but this winter our furnace has been running all the time, making the house like a desert!
Ugh same. We have a wood stove plus regular central heating. I have a humidifier running in my bedroom and one in the living room as well as an old kettle filled with water on the wood stove and it’s still super dry. This winter has been crazy
said perfectly Karen just what I thought/tub so great get 19oz./in house if I pass tub put all over face/neck my skin soft hydrated....night cream sounds good !!!! gave friend who has very dry skin Cerave am she definitely improved her skin & she loves it..going to give her 1/2 my tub to try b/4 buying no doubt she will like THANKS
I’m so glad you mentioned no reaction from retinoids. I’ve been using Tretinoin for over a month now, and I’ve had no peeling or burning whatsoever. I did begin to question the efficacy of it, but now I can relax knowing it depends on the skin of the individual. Thank you. 😊
Thnx DD: Mature, fair skin here, doing pretty dang good (just had Botox and a dermal filler). Am ratcheting up from CeraVe regular to purple line. I found you 7 months ago and have not looked back....I am soooooo happy w/ your advice. Signed, Still a hottie at 64 y.o.
The cerave night renewing cream is incredible. I switched to that from the Cerave PM lotion. Much better to use a rich cream (like Cerave night renewing) in the winter time. I'm in Canada and it's available here too
I used cerave renewing and i like it. I also am using cerave sa cream in the tub for my rough and bumpy skin and i love it its worth the money. It made my skin soft as a baby and moisturized its worth the money.
I specifically sought out a night cream for sensitive skin that had shea butter in it and was pleasantly surprised to find this CeraVe skin renewing cream pop up in my search results. I love it so much!
Cera ve better snatch you up and hire you as a consultant before somebody else does wonderful review on this I am seriously considering the Cera ve products thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for making all these videos, I can’t really afford to pay for a dermatologist and you give so much nice advice and recommend affordable products. You are the best
This renewing cream "serum" I use as a training wheels product before seeing a dermatologist for the real stuff. After 45 years of benign neglect I wanted to make sure I could be diligent with my sunscreen before using stronger products.
I bought the renewing oil gel..and you know I did use it under my eyes, but it did get into my eyes.. If you use it for your face it's best to use it at night. It's too greasy for being underneath make up. I do love the glow it gives but I hate that it's so greasy.😒 It gets on the sides of my hair too. Love the Night cream though!
I use the Cerave night cream and I LOVE it! I have very dry skin and this is sooo moisturizing, it feels amazing. I use it on wet skin (as per your advice!) and warm it between my fingers before applying, it makes it a lil easier to spread.
I happen to like stickiness and tackiness for my face. Some women don’t, but as a wiser gal those words scream hydration and emollients! Thank you for this video Dr. Dray. Synchronicity abounds! Just as I needed a product that would benefit my nails, I hear about one that’s actually for another purpose! Excellent, thank you Dr. Dray! Blessings and all love to you 💗
I’ve been putting the Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream on my lips after the CeraVe healing ointment, and it makes it last 2000 times longer. I never knew glycerin could feel like such an occlusive.
Extremely helpful! If only the Dermatologists Ive seen would take take the time to explain what, why, and how these products are helpful, my skin issues most likely could of healed by now!
Thank you so much for your generous and educational content! The cerave brand, and specifically the skin renewing night cream and hydrating cleanser have been life-savers for me and my skin journey after having my first baby. Seriously, it’s been like suddenly having someone else’s skin on my face- bone dry and extremely sensitive/sensitized. I’m grateful to have learned so much from you!
"Kinda looks like you just ate fried chicken." Not quite sure why, but I literally spit out my coffee on that one - lol. Seriously though, I can't thank you enough for helping me meander through the ridiculousness of skin care. I have found that less works extremely well for me. Just last weekend, I was asked what I do to look so young (I'm 56). My first response was sunscreen! Then I told them to watch your UA-cam channel-Booyah! Although I did go through a series of TCA peels with my dermatologist that got rid of TONS of sun damage from my youth. I've also used Retin-A since I was 30. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us "common folk." ;-)
I used to have stubborn redness around my nose, but since using the Skin Renewing night cream and serum, it has diminished a LOT :) I want to try the blue ones next for acne scarring and discolouration!
Hello Dr. Dray, just want you to know that you really helped me save my skin. My face is now in a good condition, not dry and acne prone. I follow your skin care routine, I use 1. salacylic acid facial wash 2. neutrogena hydro boost gel (fragrance free) 3. clinique dramatically cream (my own choice) 4. Cerave moisturizinf cream Then later i will buy the cerave gel oil for my dark circles and the cerave serum as my retinol. Then maybe a neutrogena hydrating cleanser since i will use retinol at night. Thank you Dr. Dray
Dr dray is amazing. I personally dont like podcasts because I like a visual of the products she speaks of. But I do agree she would be one of the best candidates to do a podcast.
@꧁It’sAlwaysMillerTime꧂ I was just thinking that this morning. I had her videos running in the background when I was getting ready. I would totally subscribe.
I actually had pretty good luck with the CreaVe sunscreen. I was weary about this sunscreen at first because of its physical properties and my olive skin tone. I don't think it's a bad sunscreen, but I do think that it pills a little bit. I also felt like I had to rub this sunscreen in immediately after applying it to prevent the streaky white cast. I liked the feeling of this sunscreen on my face better than MD Solar Science's, Mineral Moisture Defense SPF 50. It felt less oily and more like a second skin.
Ever since I watched your videos I’ve been hooked on Cerave ever since. I used the foaming facial cleanser multiple times, I love the ultra light spf 30 moisturizer, body cream, etc. such an affordable, no-bullshit brand!
I also finally made my first dermatologist appointment after watching your vids!! 🙌🏼 Hadn’t ever made one in the past because I was always like okay I have a bunch of really painful pimples but I don’t think it’s bad enough to go see someone. They’ll think I’m over dramatic. Now I realize that going to the dermatologist is just a good step in taking care of your skin!!:) Can’t wait to see what they say about stopping the breakouts! Have a great week, Dr. Dray! 😊
This was such an informative and thorough review of the purple line. Cerave should give you free products for life. I have used Cerave’s retinol product on my neck. It was irritating at first. Now I use it on my hands mostly and use it on my neck every third night. I’ve had no problems with redness or peeling.
I love love love this line. The night cream is my go-to when I'm not trying whatever shiny new one I come across. I am so sad that they have seemed to discontinue the "serum." I found it to be really soothing on my skin! Also did not care for the sunscreen, but I have my trusty EltaMD for that.
Just recently re-purchased the gel oil after over-exfoliating and am so wowed at how useful of a product it is. I used it years ago back when my skin was issue-free and didn’t appreciate the product because I didn’t really need it at the time. After a long bout of peeling, flaking and breakout-prone skin I realized my barrier was compromised and I did a skincare “detox” and went down to bare bones: glycerin-based LRP cleanser and this oil. After a week all my skin issues were gone and my skin looked better than it had in a while. Yayyy ceramides! Been using it as my main moisturizer since. This is now in my first aid skincare kit and might become my go-to summer moisturizer and retinol buffer. It’s “greasy” but absorbs well after 10-20 minutes and doesn’t sweat after, even in humidity. Also works well to calm my frizzy hair in small doses… I apply to my face and put leftovers on my ends. So versatile! So happy to have bumped back into this product.
your skin & face look beautiful..loving Cerave 19oz. tub Thanks for all the advice/learn so much from you & have taken the advice started using SPF/dont buy eye cream/use Cerave moisturizer cream actually works better /tiny tubes were useless, expensive & most have scents....Thank You So Much !!!!
Thank you for this review. I've used the serum-cream for 4 months. It's the only retinol product that I've been able to tolerate due to rosacea. I started out at just 2 days a week at night. After 2 months, I started using it 3 nights a week. At the 4th month, I've increased to 5 nights per week. The label says it can be used twice a day, so I see a lot flexibility with this product. I am still using my original tube, so at $10 per tube it's a bargain. I do not find it moisturizing enough for my dry skin, so I do apply a moisturizer before bed. I am experiencing significantly improved texture (skin is so smooth now!) and some improvement of fine lines. I see a slight decrease of the sun damage spots (brown spots). Overall, I'm very pleased with this product and the results I'm seeing. After watching this video, I do think I'd like to try the cream. With the richness of the product, it may be perfect for winter.
I am a big user of Cera Ve products. I use the day time moisturizer, with SPF in it, over my serums. I also use the night time moisturizer over my serums. I use their facial cleanser as a double cleanse am and pm. I use the “serum” you just described as a cream in the purple tube. My next purchase is going to be the moisturizer in the big tub with a pump. I have heard great things about that, and this time of year (and especially as I age) my skin is screaming for it. Thanks for all of this great information!! I am a skin cancer survivor. Had it on my nose and had to have a good chunk of my nose and nostril removed. Then had a forehead flap repair with the cartilage removed from both ears to recreate a new nostril. 6 surgeries later I have a new nose/face. Please people, use your sunscreens!!! I promise all of you, you don’t ever want to live my nightmare. I have had over 20 skin cancers removed. In fact I am having surgery 2/25 to have a large one removed from my left shoulder. This is my life. Every 6 months I go back for my full body checks and they find at least one more each time. I also use other sunscreens in addition to the above. I have not found one that is perfect yet. I am still on the hunt!!
Thanks Dr! We can also get CeraVe here in Canada in almost every drugstore and Walmart. I just bought the purple night cream and the retinol. I'd been altering the CeraVe blue cream in the tub and the PM lotion on my face but feel it's not enough for the harsh Canadian winter when it gets to -15 degrees quite often plus the wind chill. The purple night cream feels almost like a blanket on my skin. I can especially feel the difference when I go outside. With the other CeraVe creams, even when I layer them, the skin on my cheeks would feel a bit tight after an hour during the winter months.( For reference I have combination and acne prone skin)
I have the same problems with CeraVe AM SPF 30 as you had with the one you are reviewing here. I wonder if it is a problem with their combination sunscrteen formula. That being said I do really like the Skin Renewing Night Cream and the Gel/Oil was really helpful this winter in the extreme cold we had and super heated indoor air. Hadnt thought to use it on my nails but that is a splendid tip. Thank you!!!
Yeah I know many have issue with the AM one as well. I am finding that both the night cream and gel oil are really nice and overall really like the purple line
I had the worst reaction of my life when I used the AM moisturizer :( it took about two weeks for the thousands of tiny bumps to finally clear from my face
You are fantastic! Just found your UA-cam videos a couple of weeks ago. I have purchased a few of the CeraVe products, and so far so good. I so enjoy your wit, your (dry) sense of humor, and your "no frills" approach to skin care. Thank-you for that. Also, really lke that you hang-out with your mom(: My three adult kids are some of my favorite people and it's good to see you two having lunch, getting a frozen yogurt, and enjoying each other's company. My hat is off to you! Take care. Be well. D.
I have super dry skin and started using the renewing night cream and it amazing! When you first apply it, it does feel super heavy, but in the morning your skin will be glowing! Thanks Dr. Dray!
Just bought the Renewing Night Cream earlier this week. So far, I really like it. It's a shame the jar is so small, but then again, a lot seems to go a long way. It claims to work with your circadian rhythm, which feels like an over the top claim.
I have combo skin and I use the renewing cream. During winter I mix renewing cream with rosehip oil for day and night. Summertime only at night with rosehip oil. Thanks for the review 💕
I use the Skin Renewing Night Cream around my eyes in the AM, and all over in the PM. It’s a little heavy for my face during the day, I’m in my 50’s and my eyelids are still pretty good, but the right one has a little crease in it. The Cerave eye cream that comes in the little tube isn’t moisturizing enough, but the Renewing Night Cream definitely keeps my eye area looking smoother all day. The only thing that bugs me is that the size of the jar is misleading, it’s usually only about 3/4 full, maybe even less.
The night cream, serum and day cream are available in Canada. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed the pilling with the day cream. I'm hoping the gel will be here soon, it looks great for the winter.
I 100% Agree with You about Facial Care Companies providing better usage guidelines/ instructions for their products!! Do they not realize how that would not only benefit customers, but also, their companies popularity with consumers & physicians??? I only know of 3 companies that have done that..Olay, Mary Kay & Avon.
Prayon Kreutz The only problem is that it would require consumers to actually READ the literature provided when most buy skin care and dont read the ingredients much less application recommendations on the label. Consider how many people use tretinoin incorrectly even when their Dermatologist gives them specific instructions.
Thank you TONS for doing this review!! I'd love to stay and chat, but.....I'm off to the drugstore for a CeraVe haul (but not that sunscreen!)!!!! Also, thank you for consistently posting the skincare products that are your favorites and that you use. Sooooo helpful!!!
For western Canadians, London Drugs carries the skin renewal line - day and night cream and the serum. They have a website so it may be possible to mail ordered it elsewhere. Shoppers Drugmart may also have it, though they are frequently more expensive.
You have a gift for sure, you helped me with my hair (recovering from teligum effuvium again, Nizoral for psoriasis) and my skin (cerave renewal system for face and neck and eucerin for body) and for YEARS I've struggled with natural products for my extremely sensitive skin and body and not only is this so much more affordable than natural body and face care but it actually works. Thanks again :)
Loved this video!! I have been using the Cerave Purple moisturizer at night, and I absolutely love this product!! Am sooo Glad you introduced these products Dr Dray!! Thank you you for a Fabulous review!! Please enjoy the rest of your Day!!
I’m in my 50’s and used this night cream 3 days. My under eye wrinkles literally disappeared each morning. Incredible stuff. Thank you for this video!! 🙏
In Australia , Chemist warehouse they sell a selected amount of products, but you are right iherb is also a good option for us stocking some items that chemist waregouse does not.
All I can say is... Thank you! I’m a 46 year old, post menopausal woman caused by lupus. Your videos have saved my skin. I am so grateful for you and all of your videos.
Well, I’ve been using the skin renewing day cream, and while I agree it doesn’t apply the best, I do like it. I’m 58, and a redhead who burns just thinking about going outside. Since I’ve started using a year ago, I’ve never burned, and the texture of my skin has improved. I walk and garden, so I’m outside. I do also wear a wide brimmed hat. I also use the skin firming night cream and love it. And, I use the plain moisturizing cream right out of the shower on wet skin (all over) every day and that s a game changer, my skin is so much better. I also use the healing ointment on my lips and feet, and any problem spots. I love cera ve.
Umm...not really. It was created in the US in 2005 and was later owned by Valeant Pharmaceuticals, granted a Canadian company, but was then sold to L’Oreal who now owns it. Its headquarters remain in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
Dr Dray I can't thank you enough for your videos, I really can't. After my derm diagnosed my rosacea she was incapable of turning me to the right direction to deal with it. After reading a lot and watching your videos I came up with my "improve skin barrier" regime. I use CeraVe cleanser, niacinamide, CeraVe tub, Azelaic acid and soolantra. It has been a life saver. My skin is sooo much better, I haven't had a bad reaction since November, a pimple here and there with heavy triggers like wine. All because of you. Thank you so so much, you're great! Oh and for my undereye I use aquaphor, god it made such a difference in my dry skin.
@@Errricccc Hi there! I use the ordinary one. It was difficult to make it work in the beginning, it is silicony and peels with a lot of products, but if I apply it on top of my CeraVe moisturizer it melts really well and doesn't peel.
Ok, noted! Thank you so much! I currently use aczone, but that's not for rosacea, and you can't use both aczone and azaleic acid together, it's one or the other. Now that I have the bumpy rosacea, I'd rather have something that tackles both the rosacea and the acne! Thanks again!
Would love a review of CeraVe Skin Renewing retinol serum (purple line).I know Dr. Dray liked their Resurfacing retinol. Is the Renewing one just as good?
I have used the skin renewing night cream for quite a while. It is my favorite, and I keep repurchasing. I have no problems spreading it all over my face.
CeraVe is really a skin saviour for my dry hands and skin on my body. Over the night, I used to apply a hand cream or Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion, but I have to end up re-applying through the night, or else I would end up with a tight pulling feeling on my hands. I have found that with CeraVe, my hands do not feel that uncomfortable sensation of water or moisture loss.
Great info!! I already love the renewing serum. Always wondered about the other products. I will definitely have to try for under the eyes and dry spots. Thank you!!❤️
I just bought two cerave Retinol serums from iherb as they don’t sell in Ireland. Tax to Ireland was €12 so I’m glad I bought two in one go. It only took 3 days to arrive. I’m really looking forward to trying it out tonight 👏🏻
🙋 I use the Creave gel oil and just purchased my 3rd bottle of it. I absolutely love it!! 😍🤩 It's part of my night time routine and my very last step for my mature super dry Retin-A skin. I also will pat a tiny bit on under my eyes, over my sunscreen, during the day when they get dry looking or my makeup is setting into my wrinkles under my eyes. Love, love this gel oil.
Awesome! Thank you so much for reviewing the purple lines CeraVe. I'm going to have to look at the video one more time and take notes to determine which of these items I might want to add to what I'm already using!
Thank you for your honest advice for those of us (many of us) who have no idea which products are worthwhile. Luckily, I discovered CeraVe tub cream years ago, but I still need help with facial care.
Thanks Andrea Such an insightful and thoughtful review Not yet here in the U.K. but will look out for it ... Since ditching all my Decleor and Elemis products in favour of CERAVE and Hado labs my skin has NEVER EVER looked so natural and felt so good 😊 and saving a small fortune always a bonus Thankyou so much for sharing all your knowledge... much appreciated.... Have a good week hun 💋💋
I just used Dr. D recommended Cereve skin renewing gel oil on my face because I am on Accutane every other day. I highly recommend it; it is aweseom Dr. D is right...
I look forward to trying these. I already use the am and pm. I also have the eye cream which I try to remember. I think the first three will become another staple. I also wanted to comment on the aha moment I've had when you talked about some water binding ingredients that end up leaving you drier. I've often wondered how some hand creams and body butters feel great going on, but leave my hands and skin feeling just as dry ten minutes later. I started adding about a 3/8th inch squeeze of aquaphor ointment to my hand cream before bed. When it has absorbed there is no greasy residue but my hands continue to feel moist, even though I end up rewashing them anyway. My cuticles have improved too.
I started using the Cera Ve a few months ago on your recommendation. Smelled blah, packaging was blah, product was blah blah colored. Began receiving complements on my 61year old face. Thank you.
I’ve been using the renewing night cream with the purple label and absolutely love it. I have oily skin so I don’t use it every night but it’s a really nice one!!
I wonder how many thousands of dollars of dermatology advice you've given over your time on UA-cam... You are really are a skin savior to so many. I hope that good karma consistently is coming back to you ❤️
such a beautiful sentiment. I agree.

So many people want to take our $ & do not deliver :( or even cause problems :(
For those if us who cant afford to visit our own dermatologists as much as we'd like to, you are quite literally, a gift.
Me too.
YES. Of all the brands to potentially endorse, this is definitely the one I'd fully support.
Yup, me as well :)
Dr.Drays Non-Jazzy Skincare Line
Yessss!!!
I swear after watching your videos I feel like I owe you a co-pay. LOL. I learn so much from you. Thank you.
thanks for watching
LOL true!
Hahaha she's getting paid by UA-cam I'm sure.
Me too! 😂

Thanks.
I bought and used the CeraVe skin renewing night cream last night. My skin was still so soft and hydrated when I got up this morning. That is one nice product!

Lol so cute!

Can I share another Brand with you?
Lynn Nichols me? Yes sure
Crave is sold in Canada. Saw it in Shoppers Drug Mart. Today
Thank you for sharing your time and talent!!!!!
time & knowledge.
Love the night cream, it has replaced my previous favourite which was over $100 dollars. I love this channel and how you cut through the bull crap
It is a good one
I do like the night cream, the day one broke me out so bad so I switched back to my garnier gel moisturizer for daytime use
hey do u use it on wet skin? i cant find dr dray recommendation of using this on wet or dry skin? (cerave skin renewing night cream)
Neha MQ all moisturizers need to be put on wet skin to function well
Jaxon W wow really? I didnt know that.. i wait till my face is dry to apply it
Excellent review as always. You have completely changed my whole view on skincare and spending large amounts of money on expensive creams when it just isn't necessary to get results.
thanks for watching :)
Theresa Michele yessss love this comment
Wondering who lol...
Look at our grandmothers, who would never use 1 million products - but yet looked great!
@@barbilove1698 Not sure about that.
This is so true. People are out there recommending stuff without any real background knowledge.
Theresa Michele I saw the first 5 minutes and completely agree. Like do one or the other or talk about one before moving on to the next 🙄
Yep, I like every video straight from the start. She never disappoints 👍👍
Dr. Dray, since starting to listen to you 6 months ago, my family has been wondering when I went to dermatology school! Lol! Can’t tell you enough how appreciative we all are to have found you! ❤️
We asked and you sure delivered!! Thank-you so much for the time and effort you put in for all of us. WE APPRECIATE YOU!!!
Thanks for watching!
I've watched Dr. Dray video from 3 yrs ago to 1 yr. And i noticed she has improvement to her body 😍. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
🙌🙌🙌 💜💜🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you for sharing this !!
I'm so happy you remembered to do this video 🌞🌞🌞🌞 you look fabulous !
Thanks for watching!
The cerave night renewing cream is incredible. I switched to that from the Cerave PM lotion. Much better to use a rich cream (like Cerave night renewing) in the winter time. I'm in Canada and it's available here too
mark janssens I use both depending on how dry my skin is. Sometimes I think the cream is too heavy for me every night.
I’ve been using night cream during the day during winter when I’m home.
Thank you I was debating on which one to get!
What about in the summer now?
I bought it too. I can’t wait see if my face will not be hell this winter.
PS. Cerav should cut you a cheque. 🤣 it’s awesome though. Cream in a tub-- use it for everything.
you mean check"?
@@dxmxo9427 only if you are in the US. British spelling is cheque.
Dima b we say cheque 🙂
That's how you spell it in Spanish too.
Agreed. I've never heard of them from my country and noelw I'm buying everything and having them shipped because of Dr. Dray.
Your minimalist approach is so beneficial to my hypersensitive skin!!
I use it on wet skin (as per your advice!) and warm it between my fingers before applying, it makes it a lil easier to spread.
apply on wet skin? Do you lose the benefits if you apply on dry skin?
I happen to like stickiness and tackiness for my face. Some women don’t, but as a wiser gal those words scream hydration and emollients! Thank you for this video Dr. Dray. Synchronicity abounds! Just as I needed a product that would benefit my nails, I hear about one that’s actually for another purpose! Excellent, thank you Dr. Dray! Blessings and all love to you 💗
I’ve been putting the Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream on my lips after the CeraVe healing ointment, and it makes it last 2000 times longer. I never knew glycerin could feel like such an occlusive.
it also has wax alcohols that make it emollient
Extremely helpful! If only the Dermatologists Ive seen would take take the time to explain what, why, and how these products are helpful, my skin issues most likely could of healed by now!
I used the night cream when I started using tretinoin and had very minimal peeling. Great product!
Lol, me too!
I follow your skin care routine, I use
1. salacylic acid facial wash
2. neutrogena hydro boost gel (fragrance free)
3. clinique dramatically cream (my own choice)
4. Cerave moisturizinf cream
Then later i will buy the cerave gel oil for my dark circles and the cerave serum as my retinol. Then maybe a neutrogena hydrating cleanser since i will use retinol at night.
Thank you Dr. Dray
Dr. Dray you should def consider doing podcast!!!
Dr dray is amazing. I personally dont like podcasts because I like a visual of the products she speaks of. But I do agree she would be one of the best candidates to do a podcast.
Canada sales it at shoppers drug mart
I will definitely tune in!
Where can i find thos retinol product? Is it online only?
thanks!
Have you noticed an improvement after using on the hands?
I think I bought my tube at CVS, Janet. I’ve only been using it for a short time so no visible improvement yet, Vicky
Been using the cream for over six months now and I have seen such amazing results!
And it is so so dry here.
The Skin Renewing Cream. Im obsessed!!!
Thanks Dr. Dray!
Thanks for watching!
Just bought the Renewing Night Cream earlier this week. So far, I really like it. It's a shame the jar is so small, but then again, a lot seems to go a long way. It claims to work with your circadian rhythm, which feels like an over the top claim.
that sounds like fancy marketing speak for "put this on your face at night before bed" lol
Can you please do a review on Paula’s Choice products? Especially their booster range. Thx 😘
The other problem is that it’s Mary Kay and Avon. Extremely amoral and love exploiting women. 🙂 say NO to MLMs!!!
This is THE MOST INFORMATIVE skin care UA-cam video I've ever seen! Now I know how to take care of my skin! Thank you!! 🌹
You are my go to expert when I need advice for skin care, especially over the counter products. Thank you!!
Please enjoy the rest of your Day!!
enjoy your day
Dr Dray Thank you so much!! Hope you are having a Fantastic Day!! Always xox
I’m in my 50’s and used this night cream 3 days. My under eye wrinkles literally disappeared each morning. Incredible stuff. Thank you for this video!! 🙏
night cream serum or the skin renewal night cream???
Skin renewing night cream
In Australia , Chemist warehouse they sell a selected amount of products, but you are right iherb is also a good option for us stocking some items that chemist waregouse does not.
All I can say is... Thank you! I’m a 46 year old, post menopausal woman caused by lupus. Your videos have saved my skin. I am so grateful for you and all of your videos.
thanks for watching :)
Dr Dray I’m not just watching.. I’m binging over this holiday weekend and taking notes..😂. Seriously, you’re the best!
The 'dont recommend' in brackets was v helpful!
I am sold on the Cerave Tub cream- works great on both face and body, and is affordable. Great video, ty!
hope they never change it or take it away
Another awesome video. Especially liked the review of the purple line of CeraVe skin
renewing creams. Excellent information!
FYI The complete Cerave line is available in Canada. They have an online portal and you can buy it at Shopper’s Drugmart and most other drug stores.
Patricia Parsons Cerave is a Canadian brand
Hi there, I have just been diagnosed with rosacea, and wanted to know what product you use that has the azaelic acid? Thanks!
We are all so very lucky that you share so much information with us.. I can never thank you enough! Sue
Thanks Ms Sue! hope you are having a great monday!
Dont know if you've ever thought about it, but Id love to see a video.on hair care products. Thanks; keep.up the grest work!😊
A few weeks ago I added the cerave night cream to my subscribe and save on amazon and now I’m really excited to get it knowing it’s Dr Dray approved!
Great info!! I already love the renewing serum. Always wondered about the other products. I will definitely have to try for under the eyes and dry spots. Thank you!!❤️
thanks for watching :)
So grateful you linked your jewelry cause I couldn’t help but notice your necklace. You think of everything 😌
Ooooo, that gel oil needs to be mine!!! 😀 Thank you for reviewing this line, Dr. Dray!!
I just bought two cerave Retinol serums from iherb as they don’t sell in Ireland. Tax to Ireland was €12 so I’m glad I bought two in one go. It only took 3 days to arrive. I’m really looking forward to trying it out tonight 👏🏻
are the retinol serums good??
This chanel is so underrated. You should have way more subs
How is this channel under rated when everyone talks about Dr dray in skin care and she has over a million subs?
🙋 I use the Creave gel oil and just purchased my 3rd bottle of it. I absolutely love it!! 😍🤩 It's part of my night time routine and my very last step for my mature super dry Retin-A skin. I also will pat a tiny bit on under my eyes, over my sunscreen, during the day when they get dry looking or my makeup is setting into my wrinkles under my eyes. Love, love this gel oil.
it is a great one!
Awesome! Thank you so much for reviewing the purple lines CeraVe. I'm going to have to look at the video one more time and take notes to determine which of these items I might want to add to what I'm already using!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your honest advice for those of us (many of us) who have no idea which products are worthwhile. Luckily, I discovered CeraVe tub cream years ago, but I still need help with facial care.
Thanks Andrea
Such an insightful and thoughtful review
Not yet here in the U.K. but will look out for it ... Since ditching all my Decleor and Elemis products in favour of CERAVE and Hado labs my skin has NEVER EVER looked so natural and felt so good 😊 and saving a small fortune always a bonus
Thankyou so much for sharing all your knowledge... much appreciated.... Have a good week hun 💋💋
Have a great week Ms Christine!
It is stocked by Boots in the UK.
Glad to hear that helped!
I have oily skin as well so how often do you use it? Thank you so much and any other items that really help you, that Dr Dray recommended? Thank you!
I bought the CeraVe tub cream solely on your reviews!! And OMG! It is very moisturizing
