I forgot to mention the bed, drawer system and shelves are strapped to the metal tie down hooks in the Element with bungee cords. They dont move when driving!
I love your build. When I go camping with my 2010 Element I tow a teardrop camper; I prefer to keep my car "as" my car, not as a ready-to-go camper. Plus, up until last year I was hauling around a big dog with me all the time, so we needed a car plus a camper. I'm a Lady Of A Certain Age, and I was out there driving on a long trip to California the day California closed down all of their rest areas in March 2020. I usually travel with a cassette potty in the back, and I'm so glad I did, that day. The one thing your build is missing, for me, is a potty. That's why I sleep and cook with the teardrop, use the potty in the back of the Element. I always felt fearless, camping by myself with my 90-pound GoldenDoodle. I miss him so much. While I was trying to get some sleep at crazy places like public rest areas, he was always on guard.
Nice build👍 and I’m glad you mentioned the safety aspect of using setting up a camp for two, even when you’re camping alone. That’s something I always thought about doing. How wide is the cot?
Love your E build, simple and practical. Also loving all your sick vintage Coleman gear, I collect a lot of it myself. I own 2 Es, greatest car ever. Really enjoyed the video!
Hey, do you know if the tent on the eCamper is waterproof or water repellent? Just wondering what happens if you're sleeping in it and it starts to rain. There's a rain fly available for the Westy tent (saw a Westy with one on it at Nehalem Bay two years ago at the WetWesties UnSuperbowl campout.
I too have a Westy, and am looking probably this week at an '05 Element. It's a red 5spd manual with AWD. How many miles are on your E? Will you get the eCamper painted to match the Element color? Thanks for the tour. Nice no-build setup!
Hi! I have 273k on the element! Itl run forever with the normal regular maintenance. If I get the ecamperC I would keep it whilte. I would prefer the two tone look :)
Hi! Im 5’5” and can stretch out fine. Before I cut it down, the full cot did fit on the passenger side with the seat slid forward. So yes you can if you reverse the set up I did :)

Sorry about your canine companion but nice to hear the fond memories
Brilliant!
Would love a “shopping list” of your various accessories. Too many to mention.
Same! I found the cot that he used on walmart's site. It's called "Magshion outdoor folding camping cots for adults" and right now it is 50 bucks.

Great set up man.
Love your set up! Would you share the info on the bed, cooking supplies set up, etc, so we can find them? Thanks!
Love your set up. Great idea on hanging up the lights. 👍🏼
Great planning.

Great setup, very practical. Thanks for posting this video.
Hey, mind sharing shopping details of the items you mentioned (i.e. links), such as the phone neck attachment?
Im totally getting those lights super rad 😅
I'm currently setting up my Element for camping and I got some good tips from your video! Thanks!
Nice set up. Thanks for sharing. I'd like to see the pelican box setup.

@@ToyHaunterAdventures wow, that's a lot of miles, but I know they're good cars with proper care.
@@ToyHaunterAdventures I just rolled over 320,000 miles on my 2010 Element. Keep it maintained and it's golden.
Excellent! Curious about the spare tire, though.
It comes out quickly if needed. Just undo the bungees holding stuff down and pull them put. Super light and fast to remove and put back in :)
Would love to know the description and where you got the rope with clips to keep the curtains up
Hi. I found them on amazon. I dont remember what I searched but something like car curtain :)
What’s the brand of your phone holder? I can’t find a right one to slide in the headrest arms?
You cut the cot down to fit.
I believe you said 63”
I’m 6’
Would I fit in your set up??
Nice set up!

Head rest phone holder?
I didn't notice anything about water, or washing dishes.
Just to be honest if I was the passenger in that seat and saw your books…..yeah…no. Peace out. ✌️
Hi

Titanium, not plastic 😉
