I have this same amp and pedal and your is the best way to get awesome tones from it.
Most of the people who complain about it's fizz and harshness does not know that the treable knob it's the real "fizz control" and if you want to tame it do not go over 12-1 o'clock and use the presence knob to set high frequences.
Again, do not use Marshall's cabs with rectifiers.

Love it. I got the precision drive , the Dirty Tree , and a ts9 . Dont have me a boogie yet . I got the EVH 50 watt 6l6 and like the ts9 the best with it but saving those other two overdrives for when i get me a boogie recto. I really dig that recto sound.
Thanks man! The precision drive is a very tight boost and a recto is quite a loose but big sounding amp, combing the two gives you this clip!
@@HaydenMcCarry hell yeah that Dirty Tree would be awesome with a recto too. The Evh amp is already really tight sounding so I think that's why I like the ts9 the best with it. I'll get me a big ole boogie one of these days.
@@jasoncrump1886 Yeah they sound amazing , i didn’t even boost my EVH on my demo and it sounded huge, that amp is also crazy good!
@@HaydenMcCarry I never use a boost on that red channel it's already tight and brutal but I like the blue channel with a boost for rhythm. I put a v30 and a dv77 in the 2x12 . Love those speakers together.
