He is probably the 0.01% that uses it daily. Everyone else, drives it, garage it and trade it for something else after a few months or years for that higher resale value.

Honestly I respect the driver of this a lot. Most folks aren't brave enough to actually use their fancy cars but this is a person with a car who uses it like a car. (Although the wisdom of daily driving in Manhattan is a different issue. Most times that's about the slowest way to get around!)
Nothing wrong with driving an exotic car daily as long as you're willing to spend the money to keep it looking and driving great. Loved that you replaced the PPF too. Amazing work as usual.
I'm giving Larry the benefit of the doubt and assuming since this is the first time he's done this that he Didn't know clicking "premier" would show his upload publicly three days before. He likely thought it was a good way to upload the video beforehand and have it go live on the 9th.

Glad some supercar owners actually drive their cars instead of just hoard them. Absolute respect, these cars were meant to be seen, heard and experienced.
What I can really recommend when removing bras and tints is a handheld steam cleaner. They're cheap, really effective in removing glue, and a lot more convenient to hold than a bottle. Plus you don't spill a bunch of water everywhere.
Owning the same car ('15 458), it was hard to see how someone could let their car get that bad for so long and cut corners with the clear bra. But watching you detail it, just hits differently than any other detailing video. Thanks Larry!
You and me both - Wolseley 18/85 and Triumph Vitesse S3 I6 O/D convertible. Met a 90 something year old at a car show - had an Austin 14 he'd bought new in black over crimson and a matching caravan. His first car, and he'd never bought another one. You could have eaten lunch off the brake drums..

Wow. I remember discovering this channel back in 2013, back when Larry just had a camera on a tripod and detailed a Ferrari F40 outside in the blistering cold. You have come a long way man, I am glad to see how far you have gone. Your tips and tricks got me detailing cars once in a while, and I even got a Rupes Big Foot polisher thanks to your enthusiastic appraisals. I service and maintain classic cars for a living, but detailing definitely gets me going, as I love a pristine look on anything that smells of petrol and leaks a bit of oil. I have been on and off this channel since I found it, and it is good to be back. Keep at it, Larry!

I gave up on black cars about 20 years ago. When they are clean there's nothing like them but keeping them clean is a major pain. Now for the last 20 years I switched to charcoal gray metallic and you get 90% of the dazzling beauty of black with a whole lot less cleaning time.
That blue mustang at the end had Keystone Classic wheels. Same ones I had on my 1979 Trans Am. They were so cool back in the day, it was always head to head between Crager and Keystone.
A little trick that I've always used on window tint and clear bras is getting a fabric steamer. Does the same effect as the hot water but continuously allows steam to come out and it feels right off no problem.

Are you suggesting that owners of 4 or 5 cars enjoy their cars less? I like to compare cars to shoes. Your shoes for office will look much different than the shoes used for the gym, and those are totally different than the shoes you wear during weekends or on holidays. But some people are very simple and don't like a lot of things and just settle for 1 car to do it all like the owner of the 458. I'm not that kind of guy, I have different cars for different occasions, as I have shoes for different occasions as well.

Nothing beats fresh, immaculate black paint. One of the worst when it beaten up and dirty, but when its right, oh man it looks THE best.
