Hmm, now that I hear it's ceramic coated and a bit easier to detail I might change my mind and actually vote to drive it in the winter. Mike can ride shotgun, but only if he's fell-fed and well-restrained prior to the trip. No Timmies and no touching things in the car! Not even the wings in the trunk 😅

Hello DG. I hope for once you will see my commentary. Everytimes is making me crying to see you not rincing the pre wash ...Prewash with just water is kinda useless. Prewash with foam like you do THEN RINCE ! You are damaging the car actually. The fonction of prewash is to soften the dirt. You MUST rinse it before touching the car with a washmit. Plz stop doing the american wash...worst thing to do.

Definitely the classiest winter beater. Look at the mud pour out of the wheel wells. Excellent job showing how to get that salt, sand, and mud out of the wells and underside. Most, but sometimes you get people with the money that give 0 fks about how they treat stuff. When I worked on Gulfstream jets I remember a particular G550 (which was around $35m new as specced) that was a home to about 20 chihuahuas. Now this entire bespoke hand-made plane was filled with dog beds, dog hair, dog turds, dog everything. It was disgusting.

@@whyparkjiminnotridejiminI highly doubt a teenage boy with a wealthy father, who has never worked a day in life knows a value of the car. When people are just given everything and hadn’t earn it people usually take things for granted. Knowing how much the car cost is not really understanding a value of the car… Maybe if he knows how hard it would be to earn his own money then maybe he would know. I mean not many people drive this kind of luxury coupe in Canadian winter, but people usually drive this kind of cars in spring and summer only, and rarely see anyone taking an expensive vehicle or even a convertible in -40c weather. That’s just not smart.

Thank you for doing this. I have an Audi S model and always wonder how I should do things differently based on the level of trim and build-up. You did a great job explaining the differences. Do you have any recommendations on cleaning suede portions on the seating?

Salt on the roads is used a lot here in Minnesota. It spays on the car and also tracks inside. The cleaning of the floor mats and footwells looks amazing. I definitely need that in my vehicle!

I maybe wrong but if the coating isn’t working well wouldn’t an iron Decon get rid of the contaminants and allow the coating to work like it used to?

It's so refreshing to see that all the crap is in the trunk, where it belongs. Someone who obviously appreciates their car. Living in Canada, your car is obviously going to get filthy on the outside, but it's nice to see he didn't let the inside go crazy.
