I recently broke my plateau in the bench and it was a really good feeling. I was stuck on 100kg for about 18 months as my best 1 rep max using 3-1-3 tempo. The other week i managed 110kg and have managed it every week since.
I know 110kg may be lightweight for some here but we've all got our own goals.

Dude, that's helluva lot of weight, only the internet warriors bench no less than 315, it took me about 7 years of training/injuring/life to bench 315 and i wouldnt say i have bad genetics, its just real world progress, i still havent seen in any gym a 6 ft 185 guy that benches the same, but on yt/ig and internet comments, everybody does that for reps

I started training my 220lb roommate (I'm 170lbs) and after about a month he out benched the shit outta me. Nothings more motivating than trying to one up your boy. Definitely miss the old videos with the "Good Doctor". Cheers from Canada you lejjjjend

Well Steve isn't competing in Olympia anymore so the amount of anabolics he's putting in his system has diminished. He's still juicing but probably taking a much smaller stack and doesn't haven't to count every macro. I agree though he looks a lot healthier and I like this Steve Cook (physique) better personally.

Also have you noticed how when you lower the bench you keep your elbows tucked and then as you press you flare them back out?
Not trying to be form police or any kinds of douchebaggery was just an observation, is it something you are aware of and mentioned before... I’m not benching anywhere near what you are but just feel like if you kept your elbows tucked through the lift you might get more strength from it? Peace and love, keep the vids coming love the content x
