    Why is UA-cam so full of hate. They don't have to be perfect. They're pushing every day to be the best they can be and that's all that matters. You should know that if you're a real Steve cook fan. If you aren't a real Steve cook fan? Why are you watching the video? Why are you posting hate? If you're not a fan what's the point go make use of your time. Wake up! Focus on the shit that matters.

    I've been working a lot more on my chest as of recently (taking a lot of inspo from Whitney Simmon's chest day routines) and I cant wait to incorporate that position into my press to see if I feel it a little more. I mean I only use 10.. maybe 15 lb weights where I find myself struggling in my last few reps but i wasn't exactly feeling it on my chest. Hopefully that will make a difference *fingers crossed* Thanks for tips guys and much love from Miami!!

    Surprised there aren't any comments or explanation for why VG has so much butt lift

    • @Josh.Edwards
      @Josh.Edwards 7 років тому +2

      Ryan Park think that could be just the difference between him tensing his glutes and not. If you look at someone like mattdoesfitness, he has the same lift but it's just him activating his glutes (not butt lift).

    • @Josh.Edwards
      @Josh.Edwards 7 років тому +4

      killkidnumberone Huh? You can leg drive without butt lifting (what all competing power lifters do), I was saying he might not actually be lifting his butt of the bench, just activating his glutes at the bottom of the lift which raises him up making it look like butt lift.

    • @nathanhernandez4211

    • @Josh.Edwards

      Ryan Park agreed, could be butt lift could be just tensing glutes really hard to tell.

  • @1OBGS
    @1OBGS 7 років тому +3

    With regards to retracting your scapula on the flat bench I also find if you rack the bar slightly lower then where you usually have it you’re not over reaching when trying to unrack which leads to you having to slightly roll your shoulders forwards

  • @02CheeseKid

    Before I say anything I want you to know I'm not doggin or anything because I know the vanilla gorilla is a beast, but is there a reason why his but lifts off the bench every rep? Just wondered if it helps with exploding or sutin
