I can't wait to show my mom this video. She's from South Carolina and this is exactly how she makes her cornbread stuffing. The only addition is chicken liver which kicks the flavor up a notch. Thanks for sharing Rosie. You are BOMB!!!
looks really good! and much simpler than my granny's recipe. I follow hers and boil the turkey necks with onions and celery and other basic seasonings. She also seasons the cornbread mix before baking it with poultry seasoning, ground sage, ground thyme, and other seasons to taste, we use regular cornmeal, flour and also jiffy mix! by the time we're baking it alrdy smells like the dressing is done!! I am enjoying ur recipes and will be trying that sweet potato pie and those candied yams recipe!
The best hands down period! Thank you for sharing your talents with us. May God Bless the works of your hands and your gifts continue to make room for you and bring you before great men. Loves and Hugs!
My mom uses chicken and adds celery she does not put peppers in it she puts in cornbread cream of chicken cream of celery onion celery chicken and cut up boiled eggs and it's really really good
+Torrece Fitcher yep and when my mom makes it it's heaven and thanksgiving is comin up so I'm ready and also we have deviled eggs and potato salad and butter beans that the kind of thanksgiving meal I have also we go out to my maw maws house and she cooks the best ham
+superplayerslayer gaming I really can't wait either it's coming so slow cuz I'm outta school and my parents r making me and my sister work round the house so that makes it go by slow 😫 and they just won't let me go to Black Friday 😭😫
OMG this is by far the best corn bread stuffing/ dressing I've seen on here thx so much for this corn bread stuffing tutorial. I'm going to make this for my Christmas dinner
I just want to say thank you for being so very inspirational in sharing your recipes. I love watching everyone of them. You are a Blessing to thousands and I hope thousands of Blessings return to you 100 fold. Keep up the Good work:)
Thank you so much Rosie! now I am ready to start cooking. I would be lost in the kitchen with out your recipes. I am looking forward to making the turkey wings and cornbread dressing. Thank you again for sharing your amazing recipes with us.
Looks so Good Rosie, pretty much do what you do, but I also sauté Mushrooms onions peppers celery ,add Chicken stock a can of Cream of Chicken and Cream of Celery soup to my Dressing . I know it sounds like a lot but it's so good '-p
OH MY GOD.....I think I just fainted!!!!! Cornbread Dressing is my ABSOLUTE favorite and yours looks sooooooooo AMAZING!!! I will totally be making this......thanks so much for sharing and I'll be sure to check out your blog!
Same for me also. My best friend lives miles away up north and she makes the best dressing that I've ever tasted. 2 years ago she had to guide me over the phone before she went to work to make her famous dressing. Now I must learn my own (copycat from someone else of course lol). But anyway I thank you for sharing. When I make it this Thursday I will pass it on to my daughter and my granddaughters
I really enjoy some of videos, especially because they are short & sweet & to the damn point! I'm a visual learner which allows to me to commit to memory much faster & apply the knowledge. I use your vids to tweak or enhance my recipes. Gr8 job!!! Not sure if I saw one, but like to see a shrimp & grits video (cheese grits please & pecan pie) thanks.
I love your use of the neck and the gizzards. Roasting them gives so much flavor, like it was cooked inside the bird. I plan on making a (spatchcocked) butterflied turkey. Since I will be cutting out the backbone, I can use that in place of the neckbone. Thanks for the video.
I absolutely love your channel! Dressing is the only thing I haven't made before for Thanksgiving and I'm so glad you uploaded this video. This looks delicious and I'll be trying it this year :) Thank you!
Wow, Rosie! This is a complete reversal of what I'm used to. I've always made a giblet gravy with the neck, gizzards, etc, and piled it on a fairly generic dressing. Suddenly all the giblets are *in* the dressing! Now... If I go ahead and make my giblet gravy too, it's a double whammy. This ought to be lethal! I see turkey day as being altogether different this year. I may forget the turkey and just have dressing and gravy. LOL
Look good! This is the first time that I've seen dressing w/ gizzards & turkey necks in them. I know that everyone has their own way of cooking things. ;-)
HI Rosie ,Thank you so much for your down home cornbread dressing it was soooo Delicious my family were saying gosh! mom what did you put in this dressing thank Rosie and i enjoyed this very much .It will be back on the table for Christmas trust me. Omg Rosie I hate dressing but since I'm grown and doing my own dinners I'm forced to cook what I dislike! Well this was not bad at all!!!!! Thanks for sharing this just in time for Thanksgiving!!!
Appreciate the positive vibes on this channel and in the comments
I can't wait to show my mom this video. She's from South Carolina and this is exactly how she makes her cornbread stuffing. The only addition is chicken liver which kicks the flavor up a notch. Thanks for sharing Rosie. You are BOMB!!!
