I don't know why you're using that big ass impact to break those bolts loose You're going to have nothing but problems if you keep using that thing and in regards to the oil spill as soon as you put your impact on it I seen that coming from a hundred miles away

Toyota’s, well most them, are easily one of the most reliable and long lasting vehicles I’ve worked on and owned. I love classics, I have a 69 mustang fastback my dad left me (previously mentioned) but I love more modern offerings from the late 80s and on from Toyota. Have an 08 Solara SLE convertible. Love that car.
Pretty sure that was the right fuel filter from Your kit but someone did some “modifications” at some point. The fuel filter usually has banjo connections on both sides someone probably chopped them off at some point in the last 30 years. Also next time just grab a box wrench for the oil pan drain bolt. you are gonna regret using power tools on that. Anyway good job son! Now change the transmission fluid next

I have never actually tuned up mine it’s an 88 and I love it so much it’s a wonderful truck but I’ve never done plugs and plug wires and rotor and distributor cap I’ve always changed my own oil and I know the air filters not tough and haven’t done the fuel filter or the PCV valve either… but I’m ready and where’s your part three? I’ll have to look and see! What a cool find I bet you’re proud!! 😊 I also have an F J 40 it’s a 79 and I’m gonna be tuning up that buddy as well …boy it runs amazing and just needs bodywork yup the old bodywork issue! take care!
DUDE! Watch where you lay your tools! Around 9 minute mark, you put your tool down on top of the battery post and the core support at the same time. Also, whil moving metal parts around, you should disconnect the battery ground side.

Lots of evidence the truck overheated. Patch on rad. Aftermarket temp Guage. Did you check the coolant condition and level? Also the trans go bad on these . That's a known issue with them. It does seem to stand a really good chance. Check the valve lash. Or....hear me out, beat the shot out of it the woods

Dude you straight up poured oil all over your headers lol. Smokey smokey artichokie. I'd soak that area in simple green then cover my air filter with a bag or something. Same to the battery.... Once your sensitive components are covered you pressure wash all that degreaser and oil out of that engine bay. That's just me tho.
I probably would have used wheel ramps or a jack and stands to lift the vehicle to make it easier to access the oil drain plug and also used a funnel when adding the fresh oil
On the Cayennes at least. They collect water in the rockers. It’s from rain and car washes. I’m not 100% sure where it collects it from on the car though.

Most impacts aren’t all or nothing. If you use them enough you can judge how much torque your putting down
