BNSF & RPRC at Marina Bay Parkway 2007/08/09

2007/08/09: BNSF & Richmond Pacific RR at Marina Bay Parkway road crossing which is now an underpass. Includes all three RPRC SW1200s in their earlier paint schemes. Also includes OTR & Warm Springs roadswitchers.

It's kind of amazing that as late as 2007 a former SP SW1200 was not only still in operation but it's "frog eye" headlight package that SP gave their SW1200's was still fully intact. #2285 would have been a museums dream come true had it been preserved. Which on the topic of SP it's a bit ironic as well seeing a RP SW1200 numbered 4449.

Love how the older locos in ATSF blue and yellow are pretty much left in their original paint with just the BNSF lettering added. At least some roads respect traditions, unlike certain others who just couldn't wait to repaint everything in a baby crap yellow color.
