Hearing you talk about how so many injuries stem from imbalances was so good. I'm a massage therapist and it's something that I spend a lot of time teaching my clients about.
Yes! You can see first hand the impact of muscular imbalances and predict the pain/injuries they feel
Love these types of videos coach, very informing I hope you do more of these
Glad you enjoy them! Trying to put more educational content out there when I'm not playing
Phenomenal video, as a trainer myself this all A+ stuff. We need more people like this talking online
Greetings from Turkey👋 As a hobby level player I admire your tutorials. New generation is very lucky for having tutorials of any detail on the internet, thanks to you. I wish you were examining Melissa Vargas too. She is impressive. Thanks for your videos 🫶
FINALLYY!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THESE THPES OF VIDEOSS
This was really fascinating, thank you for this valuable insight
Glad you enjoyed it!
This dude is a monster! Only one who I aspire to be like in terms of volleyball skills and strength!! I really want to be an opposite hitter!!🏐

Those are the asics metarise and would be cool if you did a shoe review as more players are wearing them
Man, shoulders above the net? Dude is flying. I bet I'm not alone in looking this dude up because of Haikyu.
Nope, ur not alone
lol me too
Love the video, I will definitely try to incorporate the exercises in my workout schedule.
I watched the video on his channel as well. He said that he does more reps when not in a tournament bur due to recovery he dies less while playing high level.
*quick correction, Yuji Nishida uses the Asics Metarise in this video, you should try these in a video, they are really good! Thanks for the video coach
Btw the coach, there is an updated version of his workout on his channel from when he was in italy.
The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.
His whole channel is awesome
12:23 His shoes are actually Asics METARISE!
Good to know, thanks!!🙏
Best coach ever.❤❤
He also made a video when he was training in Italy if you could analyze that too!!
❤❤❤❤!!! Your ideas can be helpful for us. For many countrys. because in many countries there are no professional coaches. And we do random training here.
Actually the shoes that he’s wearing in the video are not the sky elites but the asics metarises’. Would be cool if you could do a full performance review on them as ive been seeing tons of players use them.
shoenerd 🤓
That is a video we need
Yuno noshida saying he needs to compensate for his height when he is 6”2 meanwhile I’m 5”6 💀💀💀💀💀💀
The average height among male volleyball players worldwide is around 6"4. When everyone else is at least 2 inches taller than you, you can 100% consider yourself "short" lol.
@@josep8437 💀💀💀💀
Yeah just suck for him 💀 (I am 5’3)
5’7 here my vertical is like three inches away from me being able to spike
Great video sir!
Glad you liked it!
Hey Coach, love the video. And talking about Nishida's shoes, he's using the Asics Metarise
Yuji is a monster on the court. Never have I ever seen a Japanese spiker with such skill
That feels racists
Can you provide us online volleyball training or coach training sir?? you are great
I like how the other players make him look 5’6” in comparison
Great Video as always!
But there is one question I just have to ask you, Coach:
You talked about ankle mobility restriction when doing deep squats. But what could someone do if their ankle mobility is already restricted when trying to do a "standard squat" (with your butt going down to knee level)?
work on mobility
Go to Squat University yt channel, he got a bunch of mobility videos
Check out squat university
surprise this isnt in your other channel but i guess you want to keep the production value higher on your other channel
Your better than my coach haha❤😂
Thx 🙏
Those shoes are actually the Asics Metarise. I've been hoping for a review of them for a long time but the stock in the US is terrible 😢
what the difference between volleyball and handball?
for workout
How about cardio? Is that part of the conditioning, too?
Bring back shoe reviews pls 🫶
I grew up thinking/hearing that having your knees go past your toes on squats was bad for your knees. Is that misinformation that I have been living by for over a decade now? Are there certain workouts where that is true and others (like the negative box squat) where is it not?
same question
From what I've gathered from other places yeah that's misinformation. In a nut shell when doing sport your knees will go over your toes so if you don't train in that position and get you body used to it your actually increasing your chance of injury
SHIII RATORIZAWA *CLAPCLAP CLAP CLAPCLAP*
can u do setter workouts for greater setting range and speed
in the military press he dont use the scapular plane to do the exercise , and is to heavy for him
What shoes do you think is good for people with wide feets?
his left lat is way more developed
Hi sir I'm a volleyball player specially a setter and I want to be the best player in the world can I get any help from u
What shoes do you recommend for wide feet?
I dunno if there's other shoes, but he talks about Wave Momentum a lot. But try checking if there's something new
Is there a reason for him to do the front squads? Why not the regular back squad?
Maybe his back was injured?
It targets your quads
Do you have any advice about preventing shin splints (from jumping) and strengthening the ankles?
I’ve been trying out tibialis raises and plyometric jumping exercises after recovering from shin splits a month or two ago with some results
(And I apologize if one of your videos covers this already!)
tib raises helps with the ankles, I would also just spend a few minutes a day balancing on one foot, I had to get pt done for my ankle after I sprained it from landing awkwardly from a block and my pt told me to just balance on one foot to strengthen it, the other and more expensive option is to buy a bosu ball and try to balance on it with one foot or two feet. joints like the ankle just require you to keep training the movement rather than actually using any weighted exercises.
strengthen your calf muscles and really focus on warming up your ankle joints
You can add calf isometrics in warmup so that the muscles gets fully activated
I think you are a beginner cause i had shin issues when i started running but it never occurred to me this past 1 year
Good luck
have your vertical jump trainer a braziliam portuguese traduction?
wdym by its good to pass ur knees from ur feet? U cant do this, u maybe can get a injury no?
10:15 ..
i am first
He's weating metarise
No offence but you should consider doing neck exercises, i know it isn't needed for volleyball performance but you look like a funko pop.
