Make a video on ran takahashi
Upload new video😢
everyone loving nishida because of his explosive power, but this man right here has the jack of all trades.
Facts. That’s what makes him a reliable and consistent player.
and the 'master of none' part isn't even true in this case! 😍
I absolutely love Yuji, he's my favorite VB player for sure but I strive to be like Yuki
Nishida now so bad😢
Yuki Ishikawa is my favorite in Japan National team and my fave Volleyball player
Ishikawa is something else. I’m pretty sure his work ethic is insane. Studied law at one of the best schools in Japan and learned Italian to communicate with his teammates too.
Every player who goes to play in Italy starts studying Italian tho lol
@@daluur9296 That doesn’t make it any easier, still hard to pick up a new language and playing at that level and going to law school on top of that shows his work ethic
@@dirtydirtyshisno7284he really is Japanese, true and through. That's one of their traits. ❤️
he studied law???
he studied political science
I can’t believe Yuki is already 27 !!! I have been watching him play since he was 18!,, I hope he stays healthy and still remain in the national team even longer 😢😢😢😢
I followede him since seijoh days. The boy grew up faster
Actually he's 23' year's old
@@redude12 Ishikawa is 27
@@redude12 incorrect
Is he still single or taken...hmmmn😱
His tactical intelligence is what I love so much about him. It’s so nice to see him play his strategy
PERSONALLY Yuki is a disciplined person.... no wonder he carries it even in his career.
yeah what i was gonan say]
he is not only one of the best in Japan, but he also one of the best in World.
He has high IQ in volleyball. That's why he is very versatile. His attacks also very versatile. Interesting player to watch
Ishikawa Yuki is like every coach's dream player.
Like not only is he amazing as a player but he's also a great person..
Yuki is my all time favorite player and I’m glad Yuki is getting the love he deserves. Reason why he is the Captain of the National team!
He knows when to bring heat and when not to! Just a brilliant student of the game! Excellent Volleyball IQ!
Ishikawa is all rounder player and also a captain which makes him even more amazing than ever
a reason and also a fun fact about why Yuki can play the trick set so good is he used to play setter when he was in high school. And he learnt the trick set from Ngapeth when he was in Italy
3:12 he's not only versatile when it comes to be a scorer, his defence and understanding of the game is great as well!
Still the best Japanese volleyball player for me.
No one comes closer
He is the best
Yuki is a GOAT. Very humble as well. 💛
So smart and quick. My fave VB player in the world.
interesting how Japanese outsides' playstyles seemingly carries over better into international play than other positions. Their arm swing mechanics and patient out of system play is just so good
It's also because of the high school vball culture in Japan where the "ace" of the team is almost always exclusively reserved for outsides which makes it the most competitive position
@@rextlfung I hate to be the guy that brings it up, but is the term "ace" they use in haikyu, actually used in japan for your dominant OH player? Im from the UK and volleyball isn't big here, but when I did learn it in school, we never heard the term ace except for serves.
yea funnily enough it is an actual thing, but it is not exclusive to your OH players but generally used for your strongest or your go to hitter. It is mostly a high school thing where most higher teams usually have one exceptional player who will get the most sets if he match is intense. If there are matches that go the distance, you will get sets where your "ace" is getting set 95% of the time, doesn't matter where he is. Examples being, from the last spring tournament Souma Masumoto(OH) from Chinzei Highschool or Hiroki Bito(OP) Higashiyama High School. Both Teams met at the Semi-Finals and the Matches went a whole 5 Sets and as the match progressed, it slowly devolved into an exclusive battle between the two aces, getting pretty much all of the sets.
It was one of the most exciting matches i've seen in a while, you can check it out by searching for 鎮西vs東山.
I am personally not a big fan of this system, but I guess it produces some pretty good hitter which then translates into the National Team(eg. Takahashi, Ishikawa, Nishida)
@@Masa6x Yes, the term "ace" player is the reliable player who can score the most points on your team and is a widely used term here in Japan (and not just because of haikyu)
@@soulstice87 Thats cool. How come its only outsides/opposites who can be called ace? I havent play serious team vball only rec. Do middles not get set enough to be the consistent point scorer because of where they are playing? And if so, your best player could be a middle, but the title of ace would still be given to the best OH?
This made me admire Ishikawa more!
A very intelligent player Yuki Ishikawa
Big Fan of Yuki, a very smart all around player, he’s always fascinating to watch
Yuki Ishikawa will perform excellently in any team, and any team better thank Jesus for a week straight for having him. The all star player of his generation, a joy to watch for years
Ishikawa has the best back swing I've ever seen. Ever since I noticed that his fingers touch on their way back I can't stop seeing it.
I totally agree 🎉
one of many reason why he could be such an all rounded player is because he played since he was in elementary school I think around age 5 or 6? So he learned the basic foundations of receiving when he was little.. was a setter at one point and then an outside hitter later on. Of course it's also his play ethics and amazing dedication and attitude that elevates his level of play so just amazing to watch him
Yes he is one of best outside hitter in world ❤
please just do a middle I’m begging you
literally like robertlandy simon would be such a good player to analyze
Or the Brazilian middles
@@pikmin5987 yeah Flavio would be awesome! Dude is a freak on the court
Robertlandy Simone
yeah Simon, Lucas and Flavio would be good options
Yuki god mode 💯🔥
A video all on Arm swing mechanics of certain players would be cool to watch :D
there is a channel who already does that called the volley nerd or somethin, you can search up like arm swing mechanics too
indeed, yuki ishikawa is one of the best!
amazing player he keeps me on my feet while watching him play unbelievable skills very very talented kid
Indeed he is phenomenal.
Definitely yuki is a great player...he can do everything..a all around player indeed
Great analysis. Yuki has an amazing anticipation of ball trajectory as he is also an amazing digger. 🎉
I love watching Japanese players ..they are cool..relax..disciplined and happy people
Ishikawa...plays very good with his skills and technique..and with his team to assure a Big WIN
MABUHAY ..from the Philippines
Please make more YUKI videos THE BEST OUTSIDE HITTER OF NVL 2023.....WE ARE SO INLOVE WITH RYUJI NIPPON YUKI❤️🎉❤🎉❤🎊
Yuki is the best Japanese player for me
one of my favourite player! still crazy to think I was able to watch him live
So talented ❤ Yuki.Varity of skills💥🧠
5:12 his blocking is literally the entire reason why I hot into volleyball. I was watching this yt compilation and like the second clip showed an Ishikawa Yuki Block.
He executeed it *perfectly* like I never would've thought one could actually do it that perfectly.
I fell in love with Ishikawa Yuki's volleyball that day and have been obsessed with the sport ever since.
(Due to medical conditions I can't play myself, but I'm told I'd make a good coachso I'm working up to that. Luckily I live in a country where you don't have to play to get the license to coach. Besides I don't plan on coaching professional teams anyways)
yes i agree, yuki ishikawa is very good in everything
all around, all in one.. sugoiiiii
There are plenty of good players who are specialists in what they do and that’s perfectly fine. Then you have Yuki Ishikawa who is just a complete player. The term all-rounder doesn’t even do him any justice.
6:37 I love watching the whole team moving in sync like this
Also when club season started, I think there's more power to Yuki's swings. It's just different compare to how he hits the ball in VNL and WCH's. He also has good reception and his saves are always so amazing to watch, to be able to keep the ball alive when it seems impossible to do so.
Great analysis on Yuki… I think he’s the most smart player Ive ever watched….
My favorite volleyball player EVER. He’s so complete and carries himself and the team so well.
so true yuki can do it in every position such a all rounder player
You need to analyze his eyes. I'm interested how fast he scanned opponents movements as well as the ball movements at the same time. How many scans can he make per complete rally? It'll be difficult to analyze a volleyball player's scan actions from live broadcast videos. Hope you can record the matches in high speed cameras from every angle.
Agree!!! I think he has great vision in game and his precision is in another level.
He played Libero at some games in Italy. That's why he received so well and can go fly like Nishinoya to get the ball 😅
Been waiting for this 🤟🤟🤟
Incredible video! I learn so much from your content and feel so inspired to get on court.
I'd love to see an analysis of a middle blocker, as this is my position.
Ishikawa also sets very well
Ishikawa is underrated before. But now. Sheesh.
Thank you. Great insight. I like to watch but didnt know or appreciate the finer details of the game until I watched this..I enjoy games alot more after watching your content...I am now the expert volleyball fan in my group. Thank you❤
Thank you coach , he is my Idol and complete player ahah most people like nishida but mine is ishikawa he is more complete
He is the best
Great analysis👏🤩
brain and power he has both ..❤
Just Amazing...
Great video!
GENIOOOO ISHIKAWA !!! 😍😍😍😊SALUDOS DESDE SALTA ARGENTINA !😘❤
I've been studying Ishikawa for a couple years, but because I'm relatively new to volleyball (Only 5 years), I hadn't been able to spot many things Coach Donny pointed out in this video. Once again, thank you for the lesson! Great series!
Really good video ! I'd like to see an analysis of Ran Takashi's style
1:20 holy shit he managed to stop his arm swing but still retained so much power in his spike
Jugador disciplinado, un gran trabajo de perfeccionamiento en su técnica y sobre todo su versatilidad como punta.
Can you cover one of brazil's players? Amazing series, it shows the things I couldnt even think of!
i really liked the video
superthanks, i want to try some of his moves
4:45 they are like have one brain🙌
Hahaha as soon as the video started i was thinking "who is this channel, their intro reminds me a lot of Coach Donny" and then look who comes on screen lol. Got a sub out of me!
YES, Ishikawa!

We all need a video like this about Simeone Gianelli
would love to see analysis of a middle or setter like jendryck or de cecco!
Please analyse a middle blocker!!! love from the UK
so sad japan isnt coming to canada. really wanted to watch japan in person after they beat canada in that close match a few years back
Knew ishikawa before nishida and I'm glad I'm a fan of ishikawa first ah well
Only time I’m happy is when this channel uploads
Wow ishikawa❤
Yuki ishikawa❤❤❤❤
He is just so amazing ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🥹
Amazing video)))
Likes Ishikawa.

Please do one on Saori Kimura!

Can we have players from the women's league next? Indoor or outdoor?
ISIHIKAWA ,and NISHIDA are the best now in history of volleyball 🏐 love Japanese 💕🇯🇵💕🇯🇵🌹🇯🇵🌹🇯🇵💕🇯🇵💕
can you do masahiro sekita next?
Can you do Nimir Please!
i think it'd be interesting if Coach Donny also do analysis video on Karasuno players (haikyuu)
haikyuu players would be almost un realistic to real life. I'm pretty sure this series is focused on how you can apply the stuff professionals do in real life, not what protagonists that have almost crazy abilities given by the creator himself, and also to mention that there wouldn't be much of an analysis because the characters explain it anyway
for example, I could talk about kageyama right now. Kageyama is basically the best setter in haikyuu. He has amazing court vision, he can set where he wants, when he wants and how the spiker wants it. His court vision is so good, that he knows where everyone is, and where the ball is. On top of that, he is not very readable to the point where his spikers can spike with confidence knowing they can score on a perfect set for them. He is also a very effective blocker. His height and vertical can make for some very nasty blocks as shown in the series. While also being all of these things, he has a nasty jump serve too. It is very powerful, and it looks very fast and hard to receive. Kageyama can also play virtually any position on the court, which makes him a great all around player. guess what, this was all shown in the anime, not including the manga, so really it's super easy to describe every karasuno player (not including the subs since there is a little information on them, but there is some information regarding their abilities so you could describe them)
You can make a video about some opposite hitter. It is desirable that it was Bartosz Kurek)))
Really nice videos! It could be nice if you made one with Bruno Rezende
I'd love to see a video on Miguel Angel Lopez! Cheers
Can you make an analysis of Sarina Koga??
Thank you for your videos, it's really nice to know more about the game.
Can you prepare content that explains Francesco Recine? pls
