Being in the Safe business for 41 years now I'm sorry to inform you that's not a $1,000.00 MSRP Safe. The Digital Keypad on that Safe is a Lagard Basic 9V Lock. Removal doesn't require all the hammering & Prying LMAO it simply lifts off with 1 second. As for hammering on the handle any commercial low security "Record Safe would have a "Clutch" feature which would break loose under attach such as you did to prevent access from damaging the 'Locking Bolt". Obviously the safe you opened didn't have that feature non did it have a glass re-locker. If it did you would not have gained entry in 4 minutes. That is why consumers should avoid purchasing safes found at Flee Markets, Box Stores and most web sites just as i don't purchase my Wife's Jewelry at those cheap places. I also question the fact that the video stops and then starts just prior to you successfully opening the safe door. And last , why were you handling the contents from the safe with some form of material? to avoid any finger prints maybe? Karma's a Bitch.
@@TheSands83 you're totally missing his main points. He's right that the safe is not a $1,000 safe and he's right that if it would have had a glass break relocker and a shear pin in the handle, this guy never would have gotten it open that way in 4 years, let alone 4 minutes.
That was just a strong box. had no real hard plate no relockers. only thing it had was digital entry. it had nothing of protection nothing. It is like a Sentry Safe or a Gardell safe. No burglary defense in it. Lockman
Take off keypad 1 sec. Drill 1/8th inch hole into lockbody through spindle hole 10 sec. Inject 500 cc contact fluid into lockbody with a syringe 10. sec, Attach 9V battery (2 in line are better) 5 sec. OPENS all LaGard's some S&Gs, Wittkopp Swingbolt 1000, M-Lock Roto/Swing/Straight. All Technosicurezza and the KABA SL 525 ATM Locks-
If all you have to do is hit the handle a few times, no need to remove the key pad. This is not a $1000 safe. This looks like a cheap 50$ Sentry fire safe from any common store like wallmart or menards. Good to know it is that easy to break into.
that keypad that you were smacking with a hammer? it slides off, just push up. Hitting your handle with a hammer will usually do absolutely nothing except strip the handle from the mechanism. this is pure luck and you had no clue what you were doing, I'm impressed you got that open
That was one crap safe for $1000 no relock mechanism & bolt mechanics made of soft steel. I wouldn't trust my valuables in such a glorified piggy bank.
Wow I'm pretty sure you guys were the only people in the world that could do that. Whoever thought beating the fuck out of the handle with a hammer would open the safe. Next time you Dynamite you might get more views
The door on that looks at least 1/4" thick steel plate which leads me to suspect the lie isn't the price of the safe but how quickly and easily you opened it.
I'm not sure why you expected anything different? A $1000 safe can only ever be a deterrent. The point is that the insurance company would give you cover for $1000 cash and $10,000 in valuables if you use the safe correctly. If you need more - spend more!
Actually the screws are under the membrane keypad, its like a sticker peel it off and you can see the screws underneath. But didn't need to remove it anyway.
avoid number key pads like the plague on a safe. What happens if the battery dies.hmmm you are f...d !!! Stick with the traditional mechanical dial interface like Grandpas. Also always remember NO home safe offers foolproof protection. The longer it takes to access the contents generally the more expensive the safe. What you are paying for aside from the obvious (re construction features) is time!! Think back to your younger days...the more time you had with a woman generally the greater chance of scoring...Yeah I know but just couldnt resist lol
Since the battery was located outside of the door, in the keypad, there was probably a way to remove the keypad to change it without unlocking the safe. If you remove the keypad, and hold the battery directly to the wires, it should actuate the solenoid that unlocks the safe. You could have opened it easily without destroying it.

Stop lying! That might be a $100 safe! Look at the door! $1,000 safes have more thickness at the door. At that size, it should have 3.5-4.5 inches of steel. Your's has maybe 1/2 of an inch! Tell us the make and model so I can prove you wrong!

Why did you edit the video, I saw a cut in the video. You might of opened like 3 hours later.

if this is your dad's safe, then why are you so worried about covering your fingerprints? sounds fishy
Yeah, but i doubt they are criminals, wht would they post incriminating evidence to youtube but worry about fingerprints?
Bro he posted it on UA-cam, obviously it was a joke.
What does the phone line security on the safe do?
It sends the combination to the board which is inside the lockbody.
What brand of safe is this?
What’s up with him using a bag to remove the items out of the safe?
no finger prints?
corona virus
Omarion

Simple way as safe keeping business activity?
That’s why all my safes have automatic relockers
$1,000.00 Pesos or Rupees maybe but no way in hell was this $1,000.00 safe. It's junk. Try doing the same to an Amsec BF?
Simply not a TL-15/30 type safe! That would take you eleven hours to enter my safe within a safe......you would need a break for a few hours -hahaha
Wait what are the brand and models for your safe in safe setup?
that's a $250 cheapy.

A $1000 safe would never open that fast.
Guys the thermal drill... go get it
I think we just watched a crime
Shoulda called LockPickingLawyer instead of some guy with a 3 pound sledge. You'd still have a working safe, too.
Does not matter whether this is a 200 or a 20000 safe.Even an amateur like myself can spot the key vunerablitiy ....The number pad.
Is there any small inexpensive safe that would be safe from a UA-camr
Thank you from a safe robber from albania 😂✌🏻
Half a twist to the left, it comes off!~
Actually the screws are under the membrane keypad, its like a sticker peel it off and you can see the screws underneath. But didn't need to remove it anyway.
Finally someone that knows the type of removal for this keypad. Shitty membrane type though. The 3000 series keypads are way better.
They breached opened that mf
That's a garbage safe, look how thin the doors and walls are, it's not even fireproof.
Well edited

I could open that safe with no tools....In under 1min....they call me MAGNETO
No 1000 safe!......bee es!

Not how that works at all. Time to learn before speaking.
The two wires are not connected to the solenoid. They connect to a board that checks your key strikes which then drives the solenoid.
