If it wasn't for the internet and the capability of critical thinkers to do their own research, we wouldn't have this many people waking up either. What I can't understand, is why there doesn't seem to be any country in the world that would focus the learning curriculum on learning the rules of formal logic and assesment of information, when the basics were already were reasearched in ancient Greece, and there is a book found in Tibet, dated to early medieval times, which is believed to be a handbook for teaching boys around the age of 11, that very accurately and precisely, using many examples, shows what conclusions can be drawn from what information and what cannot. I was shocked when I read fragments of it in Hajime Nakamura's book, because this medieval book for teaching children contained accurate information on formal logic which nobody in the West learns unless they go for mathematics course at university (or philosophy at SOME unversities).

Geeman Ona Friend, there's no such thing as "the real world". Of course there are objective truths and facts, I'm not disputing that. However, every depiction of reality is tainted by the point of view of the person depicting it. I think that there are a few things that one can do to keep focused on what is important. 1) Do not blindly trust media, but make sure not to let your mistrust of the media make you believe in stupid conspiracy theories à la Alex Jones. 2) Look at news organization's record on being accurate, and more importantly, look at their record in terms of issuing apologies and corrections whenever they make a mistake...every organization will make mistakes at one point or another, what gives credibility to one is its ability to correct the record. 3) Don't lose sight of the human experience and understand that we are all the product of a mix between nature and nurture. Most people's opinions would probably be very different if they had grown up in another country or another social class. It's important to remember that people we disagree with are also human and to treat others the way we think we should be treated (I'm not trying to go religious here, it's just a basic concept that is supposed to exist in religious organizations and that does exist in all parts of society. Empathy is crucial. That's my point of view anyway, you may not agree with it and I'm always open to discussion, but basically I think that's a good start when it comes to having even a vague idea of what kind of world we are living in.

If it wasn't for the internet and the capability of critical thinkers to do their own research, we wouldn't have this many people waking up either. I wish I knew how many of us see the game (and of course there are varying degrees of it) but it could be as high as 30 percent. Police are portrayed much more positively than criminals (Brooklyn 99, Law and Order, Castle, almost every crime show has the police as ultimately good etc).

What I can't understand, is why there doesn't seem to be any country in the world that would focus the learning curriculum on learning the rules of formal logic and assesment of information, when the basics were already were reasearched in ancient Greece, and there is a book found in Tibet, dated to early medieval times, which is believed to be a handbook for teaching boys around the age of 11, that very accurately and precisely, using many examples, shows what conclusions can be drawn from what information and what cannot.
I was shocked when I read fragments of it in Hajime Nakamura's book, because this medieval book for teaching children contained accurate information on formal logic which nobody in the West learns unless they go for mathematics course at university (or philosophy at SOME unversities).

However, every depiction of reality is tainted by the point of view of the person depicting it. I think that there are a few things that one can do to keep focused on what is important. 1) Do not blindly trust media, but make sure not to let your mistrust of the media make you believe in stupid conspiracy theories à la Alex Jones. 2) Look at news organization's record on being accurate, and more importantly, look at their record in terms of issuing apologies and corrections whenever they make a mistake...every organization will make mistakes at one point or another, what gives credibility to one is its ability to correct the record. 3) Don't lose sight of the human experience and understand that we are all the product of a mix between nature and nurture. Most people's opinions would probably be very different if they had grown up in another country or another social class. It's important to remember that people we disagree with are also human and to treat others the way we think we should be treated (I'm not trying to go religious here, it's just a basic concept that is supposed to exist in religious organizations and that does exist in all parts of society. Empathy is crucial. That's my point of view anyway, you may not agree with it and I'm always open to discussion, but basically I think that's a good start when it comes to having even a vague idea of what kind of world we are living in.

Most Americans are fat and overweight...living unhealthy. Social media easily pushes people left or right...making everything polarized, US vs them mentality when we are actually all on the same team. Social media is honestly one of the biggest influences of Marxist/Communist ideals. It is widely accepted by young people and the left. Bernie Sanders has a good heart and intention but his ideas are flawed.
Stage 3: Crisis - 2020 China "accidentally" lets Covid 19 spread causing destabilization across the world. The U.S is the only country extremely affected by covid more than any other country. The economy is crashing/high unemployment. The stock market is somehow being held up, no one knows why but I think the U.S government has a hand in it. BLM protests nationwide and "race war" is going on. The BLM are rioting and the police aren't doing anything in major cities like Santa Monica and Portland.
Stage 4: Normalization - Ongoing?! Will happen after the election?
IMO I think China & Russia have been playing the long game for many years now. Putin and XI are playing a game of chess with the U.S. China becomes rich and now is vying to become the most powerful nation in the world. Trying to take land with the land and belt initiative in Africa and parts of Asia. China is trying to take over the South China sea fighting with Vietnam and Philippines. Getting countries to owe them massive debt by taking bad loans. While Russia on the other hand has been playing on social media and facebook. Trying to sway and change the minds of many Americans with fake news. Now the country is more divided more than ever. Look at the 1980s & 1990s voting map. The U.S use to be able to vote for either party all the way but now if you look the country it is divided between liberal and conservatives. Before we used to agree to either party but now we can't United we stand, divided we fall...is so true.
The Communists never died, they are now red capitalists who enjoy the finer things in life. Look how rich CCP and ogliarchs are in China/Russia. They we're never defeated...just changed their economy and kept playing while we gave up.
For example if we let fascist German survive WW2 and pretty much let them become a capitalist economy but with a fascist government. They are still in power and a threat to the world. That's what we did with China and Russia. They were defeated economically, but are still alive and able to remain in power.

Honestly of all the people I've listened to fighting today's current "culture war" (Ben Shapiro, Thomas Sowell, Jordan Peterson, Destiny, Dennis Pragar, Lauren Southern, Dinesh Dsouza, Owen Benjamin,... etc) I keep coming back to Yuri and thinking that what they are just now discovering, and able to see dimly through a foggy glass; Yuri was able to see crystal clear.
