Love to see you guys are still going! Got my puppy in June, and he is so calm ❤ I followed your training techniques as my sort Bible 😅 So I am happy to say I have had 0 accidents for 3 months 🎉 Am on my way to having a really well behaved pup, and now just need to focus on socialization 😊 So happy I found you guys in May 😍

One thing that I would be interested in and goes along with things you need for your puppy, food, assumedly the same food the breeder has had them on and maybe the food you hope to transition them to if it is different than what they start on. That and a plan for puppy waste management. shovel and bucket, bags, are you using your garbage can, a specific composting system.

One question, can we skip crate training cause it seems harsh🥺

So you do put the simple bed/bath mat in the crate or no?

I'm getting a new cane corso puppy at the end of this month which will make his 12 weeks old and was looking for any info you can give me about what's the best joint vitamins for him and best training collar and just every day walking collar that I should get for him. Any info will help so much. Thanks

For vitamins i reccommend talking to a vet about it but with the collar like the video said its good to have an adjustable collar with metal buckles

Curious what makes your house and long unique? (You mention purpose built) As opposed to something we may find at a pet store?

Any light weight leash or even rope will work for the house line and any pet store will have extra long training leashes for outside

If you have a retrieving dog then pulling games are a no no.

      Does this apply to beagles?

You can teach your dog "drop it." Unless you'll actually be hunting with your retriever there's nothing wrong with them playing tug.

    Food, collar, leash, crate
That’s all you need. …..unless you’re making a commercial for your pet store.

Ur dog will destroy everything and get incredibly bored.
Get them a couple of toys (chew toys are best) and maybe a bowl (if you don't want them to use your bowls.)

@@remleraand I’ll put my dogs up against anyone’s for good behavior. It’s about good training and socialization, not store bought stuff. I like McCann, but that video was just a blatant commercial for their store.

@Mitch_Ryder yes good training is obviously necessary, but these toys (the good ones) are specifically made for these 24/7 training and socialization. Kudos to you for making it work tho! No hate BTW was just worried bc so many people complain and even return their pups because the poor pup was just bored and made bad decisions. All the best 💙
