I feel the struggle I can pound out 250lbs grips all day but 300 phew I'm still working on it. I can close it but I still don't feel confident like I do with the 250lb grip. It took a lot of grinding. Nice vid bro.

If you set the gripper, you might have gotten that level 4. I normally set mine to close the gripper since I do have a small hands and TNS close is very difficult for me. I was able to close Heavy Grip 300 yesterday for 2 parallel reps and that's similar to Grip Genie level 5 which is 300 lb I believe. Although, Grip Genie kind of does look rad, but to me, they look like toys due to handle having colors which I don't like. Overall, they are still good for grip training.

i think colors are better because you dont need to look at the bottom of the gripper to know which level it is

Every rep you not only focus on lifting up or pulling up or curling up or chinning up but that constant squeezing hold is what increases your strength alot quicker than without using em. There is no 180 lbs CoC gripper, only a 167.5 lbs, and the 250 lbs one (maybe not the same company, but still like 50% cheaper than the CoC) is definitely more difficult. It's probably little less difficult than the No. 2.5 CoC.

Ok here is the secret sauce:
      1. Buy chalk must have to get no slip.
      2. watch youtube videos to figure out the best way to hold the gripper. you were not holding gripper the best way.
      3. You need to buy the COC2, thats captains of crush #2 gripper, this is the in between gripper between the blue and black grip genie. This will help you get to the strength you need to close black gripper.
      4. always do a proper warm up before maxing out on the black gripper, rep with the green and blue to get warmed up , at least 3 sets of warm up.
      4. Once you have all that. Warm up with green GG, then with blue GG, you need to get yourself to about 20-25 reps with the blue, then get yourself to close about 3 in a row for the COC#2 gripper. If you can get to this place then you will be able to close the black gripper.
Im working on red GG right now.
Let me know if you get it.

@@mijanulhaque5384 Hi, Yes I did. I finally closed it late 2020. What I learned is that there is a company called Cannanpowerworks. They pre-rate grippers from all the different companies. So I bought a Grip Genie #5(red gripper) rated at 132, this is the one I closed. I also Have a red gripper rated at 139, and 147. These are harder. I am very very close on the 139. Currently I train twice a week on grip strength, hoping to smash the 147 by the end of the year.

@Grip Mania India I have more than 80 torsion spring grippers and there are lots of Chinese in them and I have zero issues with the majority of ones, that I have, because I was looking for the mid range priced models and they are actually pretty good.
I have a big issues with the sellers like Gods of Grip, who order from the Chinese Factories the cheapest grippers and sell them in the West 5-10 times the manufacturing price. China has lots factories, which produce different types of grippers, the amount of the production is mind blowing and there are tons to choose from, if you are buying grippers for 3-8 USD don't be surprised to get a poor quality ones. Here is the picture of the small amount of the Chinese grippers, that don't have any of the issues you listed above, the one on the bottom left, that looks like the original double stamped CoC even has steel handles, it makes it feel really retro, but with a modern look: ibb.co/DYThRjh
I know, that India and China have some issues and you don't like each other, but you have to admit the fact, that there are no competitor, who can produce that amount of grippers for the whole planet and making the grip sport affordable, that is how I came into this sport. The issue with the quality is on companies, that order the cheapest grippers, trying to cut the corners and get more profit, it's a simple greed.
Looking at GG grippers I saw way too many gaps in the coils in which you can fit a quarter or even two, so I've decided to skip the purchase, even though I really like the Juji's and Tom's channel. I've bought some books from their shop, but that's it.
Xinyi Wanija is just the tip of the iceberg, you have to dive way deeper in the question...

If I worked for the company that sells grippers my marketing strategy would be the same, mr. Strossen always pushing the same idea of the cheap low quality Chinese Grippers and he mentions it anywhere he can. There are lots, that are pretty good thought, at least in my experience.
Does India make any decent quality domestic grippers, because I would love to get some in the range from CoC #2 to CoC#3?

@Grip Mania India Unfortunately, no. I had to go to the resellers from taobao, 1688 and others in my country to find some of them. And there are lots of grippers on the domestic market, that local companies order from China... We have a good quality gripper XBAT(reads like khvat means grip, but I don't know if they ship internationally) but at least you can check the photos here
      fohteam.ru/item/hvat7
      fohteam.ru/item/hvat-8-pro
Especially I like this model, because it has lots of variations of what you can do with it like filed handles, choker, long handles, smooth handles and you can regulate the rgc
fohteam.ru/item/az-red-78-127-kg-maksimalnaya-komplektatsiya and you can even order your initials on the handle, but I think you need to contact the seller for more info

@Grip Mania India It's funny, that you are speaking about rip offs, while Indian company sells grippers in the package identical to Heavy Grips and the Heavy Grips name on it. 😄 I will order some, thought, because I really like left turn coil on the grippers. Judgments like this about the Japanese cars in the 70s had a very big impact on the US car manufacturing. Every company like Starfit (previously an Australian brand) orders hundreds of thousands of grippers like this one www.ozon.ru/product/espander-kistevoy-starfit-es-405-1-sht-nagruzka-do-55-kg-182437563/ which are pretty good quality grippers for 10 USD and I'm not speaking of tons of grippers like Tough Ape www.amazon.ca/Tough-Metal-Hand-Gripper-Weightlifting/dp/B082J2RKCV?language=en_CA which are sold on the amazon and manufactured in China... Once again you've checked the bottom of the market and make your judgements based on the lack of knowledge, but it's fine with me, whatever floats you boat. ⛵⛵⛵

RGC is a consistent way of comparing different grippers but it's not a good measurement of how much force is actually required to close it with a human hand. With RGC rating the force is all applied at the end of the handle where it will lead to the most torque. When gripping it with an actual hand, the force required is much higher since the only finger at the end of the handle is your pinky. Your strongest fingers are farther up the handle where they can't apply as much torque. 2x the RGC rating is a decent ball park figure for how much force you actually need to close it with a human hand. So 250lbs isn't far off in this case.

@@niktak1114 rgc is very consistent in measuring the strength to close a gripper with your hand, for example x2 rgc for an average coc 4 would put it at around 440 lbs and No one is gonna squeeze that whereas people who can close a 4 usually can squeeze around 100-110ish kgs on a dynamometer which typically is about the rgc of a #4
