      the younger human male on the left looks like he' s a #2 CoC / 10 reps kind of guy. Strong, but not that strong.
      I'd say the human male on the right looks like he could barely close a CoC #1.5, maybe do a few reps.

    I'm pretty experienced in grip training (for Armwrestling) but it's been a while because of Covid-19. Just got my set which includes the Trainer, #1 & #2. Shipping was fast and customer service was excellent! The Trainer is a fantastic warm-up grip! I was able to get 10-12 legitimate reps off the #1 but it was harder than I thought it'd be. I closed the #2 all the way two times but couldn't get another full rep. Granted, my forearms were FRIED from using the first grips. I know it'll be a while before I need to get the #3. But these are AMAZING & beautiful grippers!! Quality is unmatched and it's a MUST for anyone serious about grip strength!

    • @razeitall
      @razeitall Рік тому +3

      I would be careful going above 12 per set. I really think it's counter productive. Just stop after 10 and rest, then do another set. I went for 20 on the number one with my right hand. I'll never do that again lol. The muscles and tendons in your elbow wrist and hand are small, much easier to strain them than your biceps.

    • @IronMindVideos

      dGp: We have never heard of anyone training exclusively on an adjustable gripper and then successfully closing a Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper, but that’s not to say it cannot be done. Gripper ratings are far more complicated than most people can imagine, so what seems to be a simple matter of comparing one poundage rating to another is almost never the case, and most often creates a false sense of certainty. Back to earth: train as hard as you can on whatever gripper you have!

    • @alberteinstein8789
      @alberteinstein8789 7 років тому +3

      Buy both number 3 and 4 so you can feel a extreme resistance.
      Dont care if you can close them or not thats not the point. Take a number 3 or 4 and squeeze them lightly and really feel the heavy resistance .rest like a minute. And for every minute you will go back and push a little bit harder and harder until you cant push more. Then set the gripper and sqeese it as much as you possible can and push it even harder with your leg and hold it . Just before you feel your hand is giving up you release it and rest a couple of hours. And a few hours before going to bed you can set the number 2 all way in using your leg. You release a couple of millimeters and hit with all your power and try to get that last millimeter or inch.
      Training with this grippers is about quality: short extremely high power bursts and holds if you want to get as strong as possible in shortest amount of times. Get a lighter gripper and train with it and hope you will close that harder one you cant close yet is a nightmare. My own experiences

    • @alberteinstein8789
      @alberteinstein8789 7 років тому +2

      And dont overdo it. You dont really need to train as much as you think with these to get strong. But you must try to push more than what you got every time you do train in order to get really really strong.
      Training with lighter ones will only pump you up and do little with real true strenght

I changed my grip routine to an every day routine where I do at LEAST 3 sets with the 2.5 - I close it with both hands and try to keep it closed - note these aren't negatives though as I don't try to keep holding while the gripper is opening. Then I grab the 3.0 and dobthe same. I can sometime cose the 3.0 with two hands. I can close the 2.5 with two hands but once I let go with the second hand, it stays about a Milimeter apart. This new routine is DEFINITELY working though, my hands are getting "Thick" and my forearms are getting bigger too - something I didn't expect at all.
