That bathroom tile was definitely a bold choice. Personally, I'm not a fan. There's nothing else in the house that ties it in, so it sort of sticks out like a sore thumb. Besides that, the house itself is gorgeous. I'm in love with the layout and the ground to ceiling windows. The amount of natural light that comes in is awestrucking! Great work guys ❤️
I am not a fan of the master bathroom tile selection. Why did they use 3 different tiles for such a small space. Just bc it's all grey doesn't mean it all matches.
It’s great! My shed has been completed and it turned out nice looking and sturdy and it is way better than the sheds that many of my neighbors had put up. Of course, I'm pleased with the outcome and this Ryan’s ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans was extremely useful to me as a guide.
Cute house, but do we need to paint all of them white? The brick didn't look bad, and the white paint is going to look dirty in a couple years, requiring constant power washing and repainting.
You guys are notorious in painting bricks! I would have painted only the window trims, main door and the garage doors. That’s it. But I love the layout of this house. I like houses with a 2nd floor family area. In real life, my family loves to cook. And the concept of open kitchen doesn’t suit us as it always tends to be messy. So I actually prefer this kind of kitchen where it is hidden. Overall, you nailed it on the interiors.
I absolutely adore the sage green kitchen cabinets & sage accent walls!! It makes the space so calm & relaxing. The upgrade was so needed! The back of the house is greatly improved without the porch overhang roof. This is now a nice modern living space!
I love that they focus on budget and do a lot of “work with what you have” designs. Pretty much all of the house is my style but I’m having some trouble with the shower. I do like the penny round pan, but that tile is a little bold for the this particular house. Oh well, not my house, not my money. Still love the channel and can’t wait for the next video
So, maybe it's a bit "American" of me, but when I look at the downstairs living area, I don't see any place for an entertainment center, at least not one that wouldn't require the fireplace to be blocked by furniture. I know many people put their TVs over the fireplace, but in that small area that would be too high for comfortable viewing. Maybe it's because we struggled with this issue, and finally decided to ditch the centered fireplace for a corner unit, but in so many of these builds it's one of the first things I see. I understand fireplaces are a big feature for some people, but when it encroaches on practical everyday living, it can be a detriment.
I actually love the tile in the primary suite bathroom and the grey actually has a bit of green in it so I does actually tie into the colour scheme used in the rest of the house.
I agree - the shower wall tile is cool and unique. The shower floor tile choice with the wall tile could have been better - the shower floor tile clashes in my opinion and too busy. It’s a great tile though, but would be better suited with a lighter neutral subway tile. Love the bathroom vanity and the floor tile outside of the shower.
as someone from denmark i always find it so weird that the entrance opens up to the livingroom, there is no entré, or we call it a bryggers, its where the you would have your washer and dryer, and where you can walk in whilst being dirty
They usually have a mudroom connected to a second entrance, like from the garage or a side door. But yeah, as a Norwegian, I have also thought about that. AND the separation between hot and cold tap! To us it's old style, but there it seems to still be high end.. Like how is twisting each tap for ages, until you get the right temperature, better than a mixing tap?
In this case those features are most likely thru the garage into the kitchen. And thru the front there's typically a small coat closet for those entering the main front door.
Why do they never add a tub? Everytime they fix the bathroom, they always make it a stand up shower. I like taking showers but I love taking baths, especially when your trynna relax
I would rather have a bathtub too. But there is nothing worse than taking a bath in a too-small tub, which is what I currently have. If the space doesn’t allow for a proper sized tub, I personally would rather have a luxurious shower.
Such a simple reno with a massive improvement. Just wondering in the kitchen, the top cabinets in the corner was there a hole in the bottom 13:53 of it and not just ply board.? Overall awesome.
I absolutely love the tile in master bathroom. and you finally hired excellent stages who are using minimum of stuff to show off the spaces. in my opinion that kitchen is way way too small because this is a family home. not enough counter space and definitely not enough storage.
Amazing results! Wowed! I’m moving to the panhandle of TX and y’all inspire me so much! Especially your exterior paint colors. I have to paint my new house to make it gorge!! White with navy blue is my new choice. Thanks for all your design ideas! 😍
Bathroom : great they have 2 sinks however, not a fan of tile selections or floor…looks like they picked up “deals” and talked themselves into the concept …on a room that is used so much and adds so much to home buyers experience. Yeah, its new and yeah, maybe you could live with it but why mess with this room.
It's interresting to watch how different style is in the US than in Poland where I live. We would make at least 50% more cabinets in the kitchen, a lot of storage by the main entrance for all the shoes and jackets, at least 3-4 meters of built-in wardrobe in the main bedroom and at least 3 meters of rack and shelves in the living room. Bathrooms are also much more different. Here we have often one small bathroom for guests on the first floor and one bigger bathroom on the second floor, shared for whole family. We almost never have dedicated master bathroom. All the bathrooms have tiles all around, not only in the wet areas, mostly big format imitating natural stone. We are finishing our home right now and it's nice to see another concepts as the inspiration.
Why do you have to share a bathroom with your family? Why is that a thing in Poland? Just bc that's what ppl do doesn't mean you have to do it. We don't do meters in the U.S. so I am not sure why anyone would need a rack and shelves in their living room. Americans crave private space which includes (in an ideal situation) each child has their own bedroom. The kids might share a bathroom, but the parents (especially in a new construction or remodel) ALWAYS have their own en suite master bathroom. I am curious what is the average professional salary in Poland? Basically someone with a college degree.
@@CC-si3cr It's not about money. Most people doesn't need separate bathrooms for parents and for children. It' different habit. In the bedroom we usually keep only clothes and sometimes some very private things, but everything else like documents, photos, candles, medicines, books and much more we keep in the living room. That's why it is strange and interesting to see US style of homes. I suppose you just do not accumulate so many things in your homes.
Loved the renovations. Excellent choices in flooring and tiles. And the vanities...perfect. Great job. Hope it sells asap. Thanks for sharing. Good luck Tyler and Melanie. 🤞🏽
I love the house. Looks great. Add a little small table and two chairs in kitchen. And a movable island. Since a real one would cost a lot. But I love it.
@13:30, the sink countertop should have gone wall to wall and sealed around the edges. Water is going to spill over the side and cause problems down the line. I like that the kitchen is almost enclosed, athough I don't care for the colour of the cabinetry. The back of the house looks better than the front BUT losing the shading in boiling hot Texas is a major mistake. @14:55, that is a useful space. @18:17, that is looking good. The couple did not overpay and the renovation budget took care of the essentials.
Loving the aftermath of the transformation! The bathroom tile was really new 2 me, but I never thought how awesome it turned out! Keep up the good work and God bless!
As a flipper myself I loved everything you did but there would be two changes I would’ve made, I would’ve painted that front door a little darker of a color, since you weren’t doing a lot of curb appeal it would’ve gave it that extra wow factor and because it is so in and people are loving it. I also would’ve painted the cabinets on the bottom white/black and then the green on top only because an accent wall most people will see that and if they don’t like the color they know they can paint it but when it comes to cabinets people get a little afraid because they think they have to sand it all down & the whole works so if just the top has the accent color it’s less scary to them if they want to remove that color. Otherwise for goodness sake‘s you even have the same lighting fixtures I do in my own home, well I have the bigger versions of them lol great job, I love it and I personally love the green. While I love the idea of a renter and so many people have great success with it, I had such a bad experience that I don’t think I will ever do it again unless the house we choose to rent out is basic as they come. I know so many people refuse to rent to families with dogs but I would love to be able to say I will rent it to people without kids lol I know you can’t do that but man those kids can do some damage.
You guys in the comments are so picky. I was reading them and expected a hideous house. I like the painted brick and the sage green cabinets. "Cabinets can only be black, gray, white and sometimes blue" Hon, if your boring just say so.
Jep and in the hall bathroom they are cut in a small rectangel next to the toilet around @16:00 min totally uneven floor and walls. That's a renovation? It looks patchy as hell
My only critique is the painted brick. I loved the before brick color. Afterwards was very blah and it just seems like a waste of money. Other than that, great job. I really like the black fireplace instead of the brass.

Totally agree.
I am not a fan of the master bathroom tile selection. Why did they use 3 different tiles for such a small space. Just bc it's all grey doesn't mean it all matches.
It looked like fishnet hose.

I agree. The unpainted brick looked a lot classier. I don't know why you would paint this one. It lost something.
Just say no to painting brick. It adds a whole new layer of maintenance. What a shame.
White brick, white doors… white on white is just too much.
It drives me nuts how they always paint over the natural brick and stone.

So true. Last night my husband was watching our daughter so I just relaxed in the tub for a while. So nice. Feels like luxury everytime.

They painted them all with a primer before the final paint color went in. Just looks like that cabinet didn’t get any primer on the bottom
There is a negative space where the 2 caninets meet in the corner, which is kind of silly. Good catch.
that’s actually pretty common. i have a new house that was built the same way. you don’t notice it day to day.

What a difference! Wow! ❤❤❤
Fantastic flip and video, as always! Congrats to the lovely couple. 😍
Too much grout in the bathroom showers. Someday all these tiles showers will be replaced with one pieces that are easy to
clean.
Cute flip. I definitely would have power washed the walkway and back patio though. Also, y’all were talking ridiculously fast during this episode.
I turn the sound waaaaaay down and her warpspeed clipclop talk is not as bad
Doesn’t painting bricks stop the building from being able to breathe and air out properly ?
I love that you are advising people on flips. :) Soo cool.
Love the 3D rendering!
Satisfying! I think that bold shower is so cool!
What happened to the primary bedroom closet? Just wondering? House is beautiful too!
I never understood the need for a double vanity. I raised 4 kids in this house and they never wanted to be in the bathroom at the same time.

How do you all get your floor plans from existing houses? Do you have a software that scans the layout of the house?
I love it! Looks great! Only thing is the tile in the bathroom shower, that's not my style.
Totally unrelated, but we used to live in The Woodlands. Great community!
I had to check the playback speed because of how fast Lauren was talking in this episode.

Yes yes I say that too. Only one sink, all the time. I'm only cleaning one sink!
Is the accent wall an Austin thing? Not my thing, unless you do wainscoting or some textural work.
Why even have a shade on a light bulb if it's clear? Isn't a shade meant to protect your eyes from glare and looking at the bare bulb? This trend makes no sense to me.
Nice flip. Love the accent wall. What’s the name of the sage/green color?
I find it odd they did not do anything to correct the walkway into the house. The concrete looks rough.
You have to be careful not to over improve and put your money where you’ll get it back. If all the sidewalks or driveways in the area are in similar shape or if you know buyers will look past that, you don’t spend the money.
I had to slow down the video to understand... nice flip though.
Absolutely stunning ❤
I think you should have used pressure washing on the driveway and in the back yard.

A rare floor plan: open concept combined with a separated kitchen, might prove itself more practical
Pflugerville isn't hard to say .

What’s the whole point of microwaves over the oven? Is it space saving ?

nice job, but kitchen need to be gfci outlets at least , on the splash zone
I couldn’t help but notice some drips on the final kitchen cabinets, and the scratches on the bathroom door upstairs after everything was done. Looks sloppy. But the colour choices was nice!
How do I get a sweet 3d model of what I want to do with my flip
cool 3D software. realy easy to visualize. which software is it?
Overall good flip. But…master bathroom shower tiling is hideous. And i think some backyard fence should have been replaced. I also notice stained concrete driveway that is off putting.
Nice job, I would of power washed driveway thou
Nice revamp but what about a laundry room?
I was trying to see why the outside windows looks so different in the before and after... you removed the screens! I know they might have been old and dirty, but I can't imagine an unscreened window in Texas (I grew up in Houston - mind you, we didn't open the windows much....).
Hope they added a vanity space with a chair in primary bath

please give us a house tour of your guys houses

That's excactly what I thought too, there should be an office. One wall and additional small window above the stairs would make a lot of money.
