the house is beautiful and i LOVE the teal accent colors. My only criticism is that stove under the cabinets and the window backsplash. As someone who likes to cook, that is not enough clearance for a large stock pot and that glass is going to always be dirty from cooking splashes. It looks beautiful but it isn't practical.
I don't Iike that window either. Give me a kitchen window I can look out of without bending over. And don't like the two tone cabinets. Those uppers look unfinished and the lowers are too dark. @@orion_033 you can build a reception area with pairs of benches, knee walls, and a ceiling treatment very easily. Sorry love there’s always space to make room for a better home
Yeah I wouldn't mind something like that done with half walls just to break up the space, but a full on foyer or mudroom just feels so closed off. Still, a half-wall entrance can be really nice, as you say.
Would have liked to have seen your creativity get rid of the 4 doors in a row and retrieve that "hall space" for larger bathrooms or 2 baths and a powder room. Otherwise, very well done. Sorry for your supply chain woes.
I loved the dramatic quartz so much more. It was a very high-end look and it went so well with the green tile and cabinetry. I LOVE the bold floral wallpaper! Gorgeous.
I think this is probably your best flip yet! Love the window backsplash BUT would have been nicer where the sink is, looking to the pool and garden, and not just a fence! Also, the wall in front of the main door, added some character and I liked it if it had a nice garden around! Well done!
I’m curious why you went with the two small decks instead of connecting them into one larger wrapping deck - you could have done cutouts around the trees for a “treehouse” feel. I’ve seen those in Sunset magazine.
My heart broke when they hated the sunken living room they are way more cozy especially with a fireplace. You should’ve done some custom lighting along the step down two. Probably could’ve done a separate flooring in the living room. You can always update without losing the original character!
Theyve also been coming back in style as unique character to homes gets more popular. Elevation changes in houses arent "outdated" like they kept saying. They took all the 70s character and completely lost space definition. The end result is just... Cavernous.

Wow REALLY great flip! ❤❤❤ I wish you had taken the kitchen window up further, because I think whoever buys the house will regret staring into cabinets and not being able to see OUT the window (one of those "sounds good in theory" things). And while I'm not crazy about the color of the fireplace (maybe darker would be better?), I love that that color scheme is continued throughout the house, making everything very cohesive--even picking up the color of the pool! I also think the new owners should do something about that crazy hallway of doors, it's a bit much. You really should have had a "reaction video" of the original owners coming back to see how their house had changed with the flip!
Absolutely! Painting the fireplace the same color as the bedroom accent walls would have been perfect! Somehow, for me, the dining wallpaper and under-table rug don’t “Sing along” with the rest of the home.
What a transformation! LOVE it! Good call on getting rid of: the sunken LR, the old garage project, getting rid of the front wall, and that kitchen is so sweet! Wait...and the pool...awesome!!!
Loved this one because the house we just bought had wallpaper with matching borders in every single room, and in the bathroom due to humidity the paper started coming up and the previous owners used foaming glue to just glue it back down. You know what a wallpaper steamer can't remove...foam super glue. The bathroom took a week to remove the paper. and spackle the damage to the drywall.
I think you two are the perfect combination of cheesey/goofy with out being too much. Thank you very much for not over acting and using stupid scripted lines to try and add drama like most of the other flipping shows. Appreciate you.
This house certainly looks great after, but honestly it looked great before, too. Also it had no structural, plumbing, or electrical problems. Horrific pool aside, I'm just not sure why this one needed a flip. This is the kind of flip that really just makes the house (and thus the market) more expensive without providing real substantive improvements. I mean a bigger kitchen is nice but honestly the original kitchen was in good shape and had a decent layout. It was "small" only by the standards of the rest of the house. This wasn't really a fixer-upper, it was just a slightly dated midcentury charmer - and there are people who go for that. And why is it such a problem that you can "only" fit one car in the garage? Again, it's a super cute update, but *this* is the kind of flip that locks more and more people out of home ownership in the first place.
Look at the market. Buyers are almost never going to go for a dated 70s house--they want new and clean. Does the house itself "need" it is arguable (does a house need anything but working water, electricity, and storage?) but there will absolutely be more buyer demand for it post renno than pre.
@@carlotta4th They priced a first time home buyer out of the market by flipping this house. As an austinite who's been looking for over a year in this market, it's frustrating to see. This house would have been a perfect starter home for someone willing to put in some sweat equity. Not to mention they removed charm, painted over beautiful brick, and made inpractical design choices. Tile-ing in the bathroom looked horrenous. I hate to leave such a critical comment because I like these folks and this channel, but I wish they would stick to the "uninhabitable" places.
I really like this house. I wish you would show your laundry areas and carports or garages when shooting your videos. I think this one is really great. Love the space, kitchen, fire place. It all looks Super.
I love the window backsplash but would have made it bigger so you don't have to stoop down to look out. Also, the sink (where you stand and need something to look at) would have been an idea rather than the cooktop, imagine the grease and splatter! Also if the window was one that bifolded open like a patio door would have been spectacular for the summer and to be able to be a pass through.
Omg!!!! This was amazing !!!!! For me I loved the old entry , if like a lot of plants and a water feature were added that would be awesome , but I’m obsessed with gardens and water features lol. I know you guys have to do these house to to appeal to more buyers so that new entry was adorable. I am Not a fan of wallpaper at all but that dining room. Wallpaper was so cool. The teal fireplace is so so perfect! The kitchen is absolutely amazing as well . Love the bathrooms, the bedrooms , everything!!
I love everything about this Reno flip! Especially the cool aqua-teal color on the fireplace. It looks so much more open. The update was really needed! Beautiful job! I'd definitely keep this home, not sell it.
This transformation is giving me inspiration to finally decide what to do with my small farm lot that stays as empty land for months already literally just a space 😂... You guys always succeed in transforming spaces into inviting and homey space 👍👏👏👏
Great remodel as always, but I’m sad you got rid of the front entrance stone wall. It gave the entrance so much unique character and privacy for packages not being stolen, etc.
I love everything except the ghastly wallpaper in the master bath... The house was soooooooooo beautiful and my heart just sunk when you got to that area - it just did not go with anything in the rest of the house, and honestly was hideous on its own to begin with... I'm so sorry but ugh please stop with the clashy nasty wallpapers; it's a terrible thing to do to someone. Plain paint would have been 1,000,000 times better... But the rest was SPOT ON!! Especially that Kitchen and I even loved the fireplace and the dining area wallpaper was so classy and subtle and inviting!
we had a similar situation with windows - only white were available , we spray painted them in industrial grade acrylic paint to match the rest of the windows
Probably the best ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxYGamVaHfdHiPlAQaLa7zkwR02OKpGYDU on building a shed is hardly found ever . And Ryan takes the mystery out of different types of foundation options, etc. He even shows how to build shed with different designs. Very comprehensive, covering different roofing materials, siding, etc.
I think I would take out that one cabinet over the stove and look into a range. I love the window behind the stove. I saw one in another house and have become obsessed with having one in my kitchen, one day.
This is the style and vibe I was looking for. Not so masculine nor feminine but got that fresh outlook that would definitely be highly recommendable with my partner ❤️❤️❤️
I love what you guys did with the house, however, the bathroom tile colors and shape would be a deal breaker for me. I don't like it at all, and would not want to invest more money on renovating all that tile on top of a new mortgage. In my opinion, expensive things like that should be more neutral. Wallpaper and paint can be changed cheaply and easily, and can be overlooked when buying a house.but tiles can be very expensive to change. Otherwise, I think you did a fantastic job.

Amazing work! Loved the colors you chose and the kitchen is so beautiful! Can’t wait to see more from you guys!
♥️♥️♥️
Y’all nailed the kitchen 👌🏼
Thanks!
I really like this house. I wish you would show your laundry areas and carports or garages when shooting your videos. I think this one is really great. Love the space, kitchen, fire place. It all looks Super.
Had to watch this twice 🤩
The wallpaper on the ceiling is the ultimate!!!
That’s my favorite kitchen y’all have EVER done I’m obsessed
Absolutely living for the wallpaper in the bathroom and window backsplash 😍😍
looks great guys!
My only concern was the height of the cabinet over the range seems a little low?
there's a vent hood built into it.
Thought it was a light but I guess you can see that it's a vent. 26:50
You guys are flippin ROCKSTARS!!! I LOVED the kitchen, the dining area and that master ensuite!! Hats off to you both!!
I love everything, except the primary bathroom wallpaper with the shower tile
there you go
I agree
Omg!!!! This was amazing !!!!! For me I loved the old entry , if like a lot of plants and a water feature were added that would be awesome , but I’m obsessed with gardens and water features lol. I know you guys have to do these house to to appeal to more buyers so that new entry was adorable. I am
Not a fan of wallpaper at all but that dining room. Wallpaper was so cool. The teal fireplace is so so perfect! The kitchen is absolutely amazing as well . Love the bathrooms, the bedrooms , everything!!
Yes! I thought it gave an old world appeal. Now it is just a plain entry.
I love everything about this Reno flip! Especially the cool aqua-teal color on the fireplace. It looks so much more open. The update was really needed! Beautiful job! I'd definitely keep this home, not sell it.
I'm proud to say I was one of the first subscribers here and the level of production has drastically changed over time. Kudos guys 🙌🏾💯
🥰
Just like so many of these flip shows you take all the character out of these old houses.
This transformation is giving me inspiration to finally decide what to do with my small farm lot that stays as empty land for months already literally just a space 😂... You guys always succeed in transforming spaces into inviting and homey space 👍👏👏👏
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great remodel as always, but I’m sad you got rid of the front entrance stone wall. It gave the entrance so much unique character and privacy for packages not being stolen, etc.
Wow! That doesn’t even look like the same house. Now that’s gorgeous. And I absolutely love the blue trim on the exterior and the fireplace color.
Love this one, the floral bathroom wallpaper no love for that. A formal entry foyer would have added more value. Great job
I can’t understate how much I love your episodes! And who doesn’t love a funky bedroom fan?
🙌🏻
we had a similar situation with windows - only white were available , we spray painted them in industrial grade acrylic paint to match the rest of the windows
Woow love the way you guys made the house more modern and beautiful
Gorgeous! Awesome job, Flipsters!
The kitchen cabinets were actually really cute, it just needed maybe black and dark brown vanish. Other then that, it's beautiful
It's beautiful with white walls and warm colors in some corners off the walls. It makes the house looks extra big and warm
My favourite flip yet. The kitchen alone makes it perfect 😍
My favorite flip so far. Great job guys!
I love it! Only negative comment, the Steak and Ale front door. Would like to see something modern.
I think you guys did splendid on the interior design!!! I absolutely adore it
Best take it easy on Grandma. For her time this house was classy. But you did a great up too date great job.
Amazing job👍love the kitchen but those floors are beautiful. What kind are they?
Honestly idc what y’all do wit it, it’s always nice for me!
Y’all are flipping awesome.
Kitchen looks incredible indeed!
Amazing you don't have pool laws. In Australia there are so many. Every pool must be fully fenced and gated from the rest of the home.
Window back splash...BRILLIANT!!
I rarely comment on videos but I wanted to let you guys know I watched all of your videos and they’re so entertaining. You guys are great, super funny and knowledgeable and the editing and camera guy are great! Great team guys thanks for sharing what you do. God bless.
I'm always shocked at how close upper cabients are to cooktops in America, wouldnt pass code here in Australia
This was terrific and the house looks fabulous Good luck with the sale. I hope you get into a bidding war!
Thx
I love the fireplace! The kitchen & the pool are gorgeous, too 😍 I didn't think that I would like the flowers, but I really loved it in the end. I don't like the black & white tiles, but I'm sure your buyer will love it. Great job
Yall have got to open up in abilene tx! The city needs yall! The flippers there are horrible and the houses are in need of saving. We looked at 63 houses trying to buy and they all needed a TON of work.
You all are amazing! How are you not on TV?
♥️🤷🏼♂️💁🏼♀️
The elegant tast you guys have is just amazing. Quality and clean renovation. Just want to ask what kind of floors to you guys use?
I love the color palette of this house! Really nice. The fireplace and kitchen are great!
I'm not on board with the bathroom wallpaper, but everything else is spot on 😎
The cabinets over the stove seem odd to me.
🤔
They were to low!
BEAUTIFUL TRANSFORMATION!!!YOU GUYS DID AMAZING!!🥰🥰🥰
Great job! I wouldn't have thought of extending the kitchen the way you did it!
I love it!
