However, he IS blind so that bring me to question why they put him in front of flashing lights and why do they tell him to push the big red button. aquariusvibe He is blind and deaf. He has cortical blindness, so although he cannot really see lights flashing, it will still trigger seizure, of which he seems to have nearly non-stop anyway. If this doesn’t make sense, look up cortical blindness, or ask specific questions. As a neurologist, I’ll do my best to answer.

Jaxon passed away on April 1, 2020. His parents divorced a few years a go and his mom has a baby with her new partner. Their fundraising foundation was dissolved.

XReflexian It's not most of his brain missing, it's all of it. He has two small lobes that are filled with cerebrospinal fluid. This is what anencephaly is....no brain. Most are born with some exposed tissue on the outside of the head. Because of exposure to amniotic fluid, they are useless. All he had were his brain stem and reflexes. He could not even eat, and had many digestive problems.

Dreadful existence. He seized from birth til death. His brain couldnt interpret the stimuli his body was experiencing. Probably sensory overload and EXTREMELY painful. Notice how he panics when in water or receiving alot of touching or hearing loud sounds or bright lights. That's his body saying "my nerves are cranked up to 11 and reality is encumbered by incredible amounts of pain." That mother of his poked, prodded, pushed, propped, picked, posed, and let's not forget profited off of his severe disabilities & deformities. She literally abused him physically on camera right before our very eyes. Every time he screamed (which was often), her hand is seen moments before going behind his back or hidden all of a sudden & bam! All of a sudden he jerks his body in startled response & screams in pain. Due to his missing so much of his brain, it's fortunate that he stops crying almost immediately when he starts, due to not having the ability to recall what it is that causes him to cry in the first place. I also believe that he likely had food & pain meds held back on days he was filmed by news crews. In addition to the film clips his parents made. The reason being that a hungry baby in horrible pain will scream & make presence known. He is virtually useless as a bump on a log when fed & heavily medicated on narcotics. There are clips of him so high, he's literally choking on his own spit, his eyes rolling back in his head, as it just lolls off his neck. On film days, he's wide awake & cranky. Also, he appears so much calmer when he is held by his father, who doesn't appear to mistreat him. The mother is filmed in one clip holding that crippled baby as rigid as possible against her body, as he bucks & arches his back trying to be able to move, as she holds him ever tighter against her. She finally allows him to sit upright & he appears exhausted & his weak neck causes his head to loll forward (yet again), as he completely passes out from sheer utter exhaustion, all of a sudden his entire body jerks & his body is laid out prostate in her arms, as he starts screaming in fear & pain, his blind frog-like eyes widen in terror, unable to see the person pinching & poking & jabbing him, she has also jerked his toes hard enough to scare & hurt him. She then leans toward him & starts rapid-fire kissing him, which causes him to suffocate ever-so-slowly, something she is often filmed doing to him. The video clip of them sitting on the floor next to the coffee table where the fake "I love you" is heard is where you can see this insanity. I watched it multiple times before I saw it another light completely & then I couldn't unsee the mistreatment. It's been stated by a woman who initially helped raise funds before realizing they were using donations for vacations & other luxuries, that the couple would accept any & all interviews on TV & often drove several hours to & then from news stations, unconcerned about the baby riding in the backseat all those hours.

Back in the old days, many midwives ensured that the little ones like this wouldn't suffer! They prevented a life filled with pain, misery, doctors, medical interventions, institutions, financial woes on families and the public purse. I agree that the names some people give him are childish and rude but most people are so angry at the way these "parents" handled his life. I doubt you would have squandered away money donated to your baby, drag her across the country to spread lies to the media, call doctors liars, take videos of her seizing and telling her good job and wrapping fishing wire around her wrist in attempt to fool people into thinking she is grabbing for things for the sake of donations. you often wonder if you did the right thing yet you are judging others for thinking that the parents didn't do the right thing. There is a very good case to be made that the baby should have been aborted knowing he'd be in a barely functioning state. It was their faith that caused them to not even entertain the possibility that it would be better for someone to not be born than to be born braindead and cursed to a life of suffering. Current news: he is now dumped off in a care home. This video was from years ago, he is 5 years old now. He does not live with his parents anymore and now is being taken care of by staff members. If he could see then reguardless of the exact nature of the seizure, one would think you wouldn't place a child who has multiple seizures in front of flashing lights. However, he IS blind so that bring me to question why they put him in front of flashing lights and why do they tell him to push the big red button. He can't see the button let alone know what color it is. NOTHING the parents say about him makes a bit of sense.

XReflexian It's not most of his brain missing, it's all of it. He has two small lobes that are filled with cerebrospinal fluid. This is what anencephaly is....no brain. Most are born with some exposed tissue on the outside of the head. Because of exposure to amniotic fluid, they are useless. All he had were his brain stem and reflexes. He could not even eat, and had many digestive problems.

Dreadful existence. He seized from birth til death. His brain couldnt interpret the stimuli his body was experiencing. Probably sensory overload and EXTREMELY painful. Notice how he panics when in water or receiving alot of touching or hearing loud sounds or bright lights. That's his body saying "my nerves are cranked up to 11 and reality is encumbered by incredible amounts of pain." It was most likely a feedback loop like a bad dream of sensations puzzled and mashed together in a brain randonly firing off like fireworks or a psychic hedgemaze of delirum for 5 long HORRIBLE years. If he could talk he would probably curse his mother for not aborting him. I'm not cruel. His parents are. On top of the pain he seizes every 10 min or so. Like a computer constantly rebooting itself. We all need to rethink these "miracles" it is most likely that he was in a TON OF PAIN. Jaxons life was the epitome of "better off d3ad" I mean that in the most honest wholesome way ever..

That mother of his poked, prodded, pushed, propped, picked, posed, and let's not forget profited off of his severe disabilities & deformities. She literally abused him physically on camera right before our very eyes. Every time he screamed (which was often), her hand is seen moments before going behind his back or hidden all of a sudden & bam! All of a sudden he jerks his body in startled response & screams in pain. Due to his missing so much of his brain, it's fortunate that he stops crying almost immediately when he starts, due to not having the ability to recall what it is that causes him to cry in the first place. I also believe that he likely had food & pain meds held back on days he was filmed by news crews. In addition to the film clips his parents made. The reason being that a hungry baby in horrible pain will scream & make presence known. He is virtually useless as a bump on a log when fed & heavily medicated on narcotics. There are clips of him so high, he's literally choking on his own spit, his eyes rolling back in his head, as it just lolls off his neck. On film days, he's wide awake & cranky. Also, he appears so much calmer when he is held by his father, who doesn't appear to mistreat him. The mother is filmed in one clip holding that crippled baby as rigid as possible against her body, as he bucks & arches his back trying to be able to move, as she holds him ever tighter against her. She finally allows him to sit upright & he appears exhausted & his weak neck causes his head to loll forward (yet again), as he completely passes out from sheer utter exhaustion, all of a sudden his entire body jerks & his body is laid out prostate in her arms, as he starts screaming in fear & pain, his blind frog-like eyes widen in terror, unable to see the person pinching & poking & jabbing him, she has also jerked his toes hard enough to scare & hurt him. She then leans toward him & starts rapid-fire kissing him, which causes him to suffocate ever-so-slowly, something she is often filmed doing to him. The video clip of them sitting on the floor next to the coffee table where the fake "I love you" is heard is where you can see this insanity. I watched it multiple times before I saw it another light completely & then I couldn't unsee the mistreatment. It's been stated by a woman who initially helped raise funds before realizing they were using donations for vacations & other luxuries, that the couple would accept any & all interviews on TV & often drove several hours to & then from news stations, unconcerned about the baby riding in the backseat all those hours.

These comments make me sick i too had a lil girl who also had a condition called anancephaly the dr told me that my baby would not live at all and i would be at risk also if i did not terminate the pregnancy. I often wonder if i did the right thing. My situation would have been no diff than this and it hurts my heart to read all these comments about the baby being an alien and stuff have u guys no compassion
I agree that the names some people give him are childish and rude but most people are so angry at the way these "parents" handled his life. I doubt you would have squandered away money donated to your baby, drag her across the country to spread lies to the media, call doctors liars, take videos of her seizing and telling her good job and wrapping fishing wire around her wrist in attempt to fool people into thinking she is grabbing for things for the sake of donations. I could go about the crap these people put their baby through but I notice that some people take their anger out on Jaxon when people call him a miracle and congratulate him on accomplishing tasks that are impossible for him to meet. None of that is his fault. People also accuse others of invading their privacy but they threw themselves into the limelight so people have the right to judge and it's not always going to be positive. My thoughts on Jaxon is that he is merely living in a body that he has minimal control of and he has no way of letting people know how he feels. Nothing but darkness and seizures. That would be an absolute nightmare and so I feel terrible for him. His looks are irrelevant to me but I don't think he's gross. I'm very sorry you went through that but I think people would be kinder had they just kept him comfortable and not be in his face filming for all to see. Again, I feel for you and I can totally understand how reading comments with people calling him creature and blob would be upsetting.

To me he is beautiful! I love his big blue eyes! Hopefully they have learned their lesson and are just raising him now and concentrating on his needs instead of publicity!

you often wonder if you did the right thing yet you are judging others for thinking that the parents didn't do the right thing. There is a very good case to be made that the baby should have been aborted knowing he'd be in a barely functioning state. It was their faith that caused them to not even entertain the possibility that it would be better for someone to not be born than to be born braindead and cursed to a life of suffering.
Of course that's my opinion and I could be wrong but for you to get mad at others having their owm opinion is a bit extreme. Yes, there are always going to be a few trolls who say idiotic things but I'm assuming you were not talking about and focusing on them.

What Jaxson has contributed to medical knowledge about this condition has been invaluable. Technically this child should have laid like a lump and done nothing but be a vegetable. He LEARNED. He CRAWLED. He responded to voice. He had a purpose that will forever benefit children born severe birth defects. RIP Jaxson.

Current news: he is now dumped off in a care home. This video was from years ago, he is 5 years old now. He does not live with his parents anymore and now is being taken care of by staff members. Once the parents knew they couldn’t milk this up forever they just put him in an asylum where staff can be abusive for the rest of his life. His parents make me sick. Poor baby
The negative comments are because this is monetised child abuse. Maybe learn about this story before giving these parents praise.

All these people saying that he's now in an institution but no proof. I did find the mom's Facebook page and saw she's with another guy and has a daughter now. I also saw 2 pictures with Jaxon and new baby. But no where have I seen that he's now institutionalized.

He died 2 years ago at age 5, and with the same mental capabilities as when he was newborn.
@@sandyy.8244newborns actually have more mental capacity. Most newborns can feed themselves, Jaxon never could. Newborns can track movement with their eyes and smile, Jaxon couldn’t.
