Dude you are so freaking awesome for making all this content. Can’t thank you enough and love seeing the passion which natural procures the wisdom. God bless you
Excellent video. so exactly how much water should i add? it seems most formulas don't mention how much water so is it just an issue of mixing till it feels right? and do you ever add fiberglas? that seems like an easy way to add some crack-prevention. fiberglas is inexpensive but i wonder if there is something more eco friendly? it's just glass so in that sense it's not so toxic but not good to work with (bad for skin and lungs).
Excellent video , great tips for lighter statuary, im just wondering how soon can i paint the statue , after its been submerged in water for a few days ? 🤔..looking forward to your future videos , thanks soo much 🙋♀️
Thank you for the feedback, glad you enjoyed! Depending on the temperature usually a week or two, but at least a full week. The longer you wait the better the results.
Love your videos! So inspiring Maybe a stupid question but what is a “part” measurement? And how do you know how much mix to make based on the statue that you want to make?
A part is whatever size you make it, so it can be a cup, it can be a 5 gallon bucket. It just depends on the size of the project you’re doing. So you just want to make sure you’re using equal parts when mixing, but the part can be whatever you want it to be, hope this helps!
@@rubbermoldman8544 yes! That helps immensely! Thank you so much! As a beginner, how would I know how much mix to make per mold? I’m assuming that different size molds will require a different amount of mix, correct?
@@marniepeters5142 Just by trial and error. I personally go by how much water I use per mold. But it also depends on how you mix your concrete. You will use less concrete mix if you use a more watery mix of concrete. If you mix a more "traditional" thickness of concrete (like for sidewalks and stuff like that) then you will use more concrete mix. So you need to figure out if you want a more watery or traditional thickness of concrete and just write down your measurements.
I’m just getting started making my own statues and I’m SO GLAD for your whole channel, you’re so full of helpful information thank you thank you!
Man you have sold me! Ive researched youtube and I can say you are the best of the best!!!

But heavy statue for the garden is good because it does not easily blown away by a strong wind.
