    This is a Shaking Medicine embodiment warmup with a taste of therapeutic tremoring. Dr Keith Motes, founder of the Shaking Medicine Foundation, leads this journey here from Brunswick Heads, Australia. This video is great for both beginner and experienced shakers.
    Keith begins with some grounding abdominal breathing in a traditional Qi Gong Stance. He then invites you into some somatic and intuitive warmup movements of spinal undulations, swaying, and circulating. Next, he brings you into a voluntary shaking meditation whereby you scan through various parts of your body to relax them by shaking them. Lastly, Keith invites you into the involuntary shaking of therapeutic tremoring in your standing shape.
    This ~20 min class is all done in standing. Doing it in nature is great if you can though in the comfort of your home is great too. Take it easy. There is no need to push into anything that is uncomfortable or painful. Often less is more especially if you are newer.     Just did this the 2bd time this week my diaphragm feels a bit tight and lower back where the kidneys is that a good sign or bad?

      Hey, it could be a good sign. The exercises we are doing are quite gentle for the average person and so it's unlikely that for most these gentle exercises would create new tightness, tension, pain, etc. What is more likely happening is that the process of Shaking Medicine is helping us to feel what is already there and kind of frozen inside of us. This process of Shaking Medicine, especially the therapeutic tremoring focal point of Shaking Medicine, of relaxing more, moving into sensations, feelings, etc. start to unravel these frozen/numb tensions within us. We begin to release them and as they release we generally feel them too. Feeling them is often part of the process. If this is your case then I'd say it is a very good thing.
