PART 1 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible Top FIX (TOP GOING DOWN AND TRUNK LID ACTUALLY CLOSING)

On many Chrysler Sebrings from 2007-2010 have convertible top issues. My issue was that when I let my top down, it would start and then stop halfway. I would then have to hold it down again and it would go into the area but my trunk lid would not close. The hydraulic pump would just make a sound but the lid was not closing. I hope this video helps someone that has been feeling like there’s not help. I will post a PART 2 for how to make the convertible top go back up. This should work on the 3rd generation Sebrings and 200s if this is the issue.
