As far as I know, this game is most likely based on Batman:Year One, because it has the start of batman, catwoman, falcone, etc. If we do have joker, it'll be later episodes but I hope we get a bane boss battle.
It'd be refreshing if he didn't show up (Batman stories don't always need The Joker) but it'd be a safe move for them to have him because The Joker sells.

I agree I personally am sick of seeing constant Batman in everything from animated movies to video games. We are getting injustice but it would be awesome to bet a video game that isn't a fighting one based on other heroes or even villains but like you said it probably won't happen.
They should make a Nightwing game and use Batman's villains and give it a Spider-Man type feel where he trash talks his enemies. The money would print itself.
I like both Marvel and DC. I like DC a bit more they just need to stop using Batman all the time and try to use other heroes. They are doing good with TV shows but they need to flesh out more heroes in video games and animated movies. It is the 75th anniversary for Wonder Woman for example. They should do an animated movie for her but I don't see that happening anytime soon. The one they made several years back was awesome so there is no reason why they can't do another.

Oh boy! ANOTHER Batman game! And it's M rated to boot! I sure am happy that DC continues to put all of their best efforts into a single character despite their enormously vast pantheon of characters. Yes sir, wouldn't want them to explore a single one of their other amazing characters in a solo game. Nope. Boy would I hate that somethin' fierce. Can't immagine anything worse. Wow would that be terrible. I mean, can you imagine an actually well made game with Superman involving flight and super speed being used properly in battles. Or one with Flash while we're on the topic of super speed. Or the insane mechanics possible with a Wonder Woman game because of her speed and strength and fighting ability? Or the possibilities with Martian Manhunters amount of powers? Oh my gosh or a Green Lantern game where the possibilities of the game are much like the ring itself, limited only by the developers imagination. Or even another detective type game featuring The Question. Good grief....all of those things would be horrible. . . . . . .
Kinda looks like another retelling of Frank Miller's "Batman: Year One" which is honestly getting old. we've seen this story not only in "Batman Begins", but in the straight to DVD movie "Batman: Year One".
I have to agree here. they should have made him reprise his role as Harvey and gave Travis the role of Bruce. oh well they will still knock it out of the park as always.
He makes a good Batman in the Lego games though. Let's see how Troy's Batman voice sounds. I also hope Joker shows up and Troy does his voice as well. Watch Batman Assault on Arkham and tell me you don't love Troy's Joker voice as much as Mark Hammil's. I dare you.

I love the Telltale series. I consider them American Visual Novels, and I think the amount of immersion they provide in the narrative is great.
