- Short Video of My Logitech G27 Racing Wheel, and how it is mounted to my desk.
I used 2x 200lbs Drawer Slides mounted under a 2nd tabletop i setup.
The desk is a Ikea Jerker desk, they don't make them anymore. - Навчання та стиль

no it locks in place with enough pressure it was perfect; although, it might also be the 2 desktops adding that pressure, but when fully extended it does have a slight lock. I never had any issues with it.

How far do the mounts extend because i just want to mount it straight to my desk and my desk's thickness is 4 inches, and im also on a budget so i dont want to buy a wheel stand, and the same with the shifter.
they come in many sizes, i think mine were 2.5 ft when closed, and held over 200 lbs. I was going to mount them upside down to the bottom of the desktop, but i figured for longevity i'd do it the other way since i had 2 of the same desks. If you mount it upside down i'd definitely use proper bolts, washers and maybe a inner sleeve for the bolt, so over time it does not ruin the wood and make the hole bigger. (sry for not responding)
