I dont really believe that slowking CAN de-evolve by the same means as slowbro because to de-evolve slowbro, That really just involves cutting its tail, which it can grow back. If the same rules apply, you would have to surgically remove that shelder from slowking's head, but... keeping in mind that it latches onto its head, the teeth could possibly connect straight to the brain, through the skull. That would mean that (if slowking's telekinetic powers were suppressed) We would have to basically cut its head off or go through extensive surgery that it posibly couldn't recover from. That would mean that the slowking would and maybe can only de-evolve itself with the use of its telekinetic powers, knowing that it would lose all its memories and become a dopey pokemon again. This should follow either a tragic event or slowking could not survive well enough in its intelligent phase.

Well, there is one thing i would like to change in this theory. You said that the shelder poison prevents slowpoke from jerking their tail, losing its prey. Well, the shelder DOES cause a sudden pain, because, Im a fisher and when you feel a fish on the line, you DO jerk up in a sudden movement. Its just one think i wanted to point out, fine polishing this already wonderful theory.
This makes so much sense. Slowpoke is just too smart for its own good. It keeps it safe by only just fishing not risking its life but hunting, it has found true peace in the world so it doesn't seek danger. It becomes stupider with the introduction of poison. But even when it becomes stupider it is still extremely smart. So the Shelder on the tail does give an effect to the brain it is just less because it has to go through the body, where as on the head it goes directly to the brain. So Slowking is really the stupidest of the three yet smarter then pretty much any other living creature.

Its not a parasitic relationship, its symbiotic, the the shelder allows slowbro to balance, he's then able to become more mobile and able to find food other than fishing, he's also able to use his front legs? hands? Paws? Whatever u wanna call them, for punch attacks.
Another thing you could've mentioned was Slowbro's fainting animation in Pokémon Stadium. Slowbro turns to look at the Shellder on its tail to see if it is fainted or not, it wouldn't have to do that if it felt pain, it would fall on its own. I don't think Shellder clamps onto Slowpoke's tail in order to taste the tail, but much rather so it can get nourishment by becoming a parasite and controlling Slowbro to ward off Pokémon that would otherwise threaten or eat Shellder, Slowbro feeds itself and does all the work, while Shellder sucks out nutrition via the blood vessels in Slowbro's tail and controls Slowbro's thoughts and powers, most likely from the use of neurotoxins and poisons as you mentioned in the video. However, I think fish are attracted to Slowpoke's tail because the tip of Slowpoke's tail probably secretes an odor, liquid, or taste that entices them to bite onto it, much like a worm on a hook. If you notice that white tip is not present in Slowking and it no longer attracts Shellders or other fish to bite onto it so they instinctively will not do so any longer. As to why in the anime Shellders did not want to bite onto a Slowpoke's head was most likely because of the fact that Slowpoke maintains control of its body when they turn into a Slowking and simply uses shelder as a medium for its psychic powers while the Shellder usurps control when it turns into a Slowbro and it controls its psychic powers instead of simply becoming a tool with no control as it's body instinctively transforms itself when it bites onto a Slowpoke. It's still a slowking, but this time Its basically much more bulkier. Slowking has heightened spDef, while slowbro has heightened Def. combine those 2 together and make it a bit slower because of the lack of movement available to it and possibly more health, and you just have a Superbulk telekinetic monster. It won't really be able to feel anything but its still as smart as a scientist.
Im thinking positively here, If it were to survive 2 at the same time, that may be what would happen, They may establish this as one of the mega evolutions if they think of it, it'll have an ability similar to filter where it cuts super effective damage by 1/4

I believe this ties in perfect with the slowpoke omnipotence theory. Maybe, the longer it stays a slowpoke, the smarter it becomes when it evolves bacause it gathered more information.( Of course the information is forgotten when de-evolving.) This explains why the slowking from pokemon 2000 can speak, he just spent more time as a slowpoke, and gathered all necesary information to speak.
My guess is shelder has a mutual evolution when coming into contact with Slowpoke that makes it evolve, taking two potential forms dependent on how it effects Slowbro. This evolution is what gains the Poison typing. Would be nice if Shelder's alternate Poison type evolution could somehow be attained independently from Slowpoke. One of the Professors need to start working on a means to emulate the effects slowpoke has on Shelder.

I have a theory about Ditto. Ditto originated from the original attempts to clone mew, thus why the same color/shiny color pallet, and transform/the ability to use any move. I have a theory you should discuss regarding this topic. Slowpoke does not evolve. Think about it, when the Shelder clams onto the Slowpoke the only change in the Slowpoke is that it stands up. Slowpoke might already be able to do this, maybe it's just too lazy to do it. The Shelder is the one that actually changes it's physical appearance. So Shelder is the one actually evolving into either Broster or Kingster and is controlling the Slowpoke, even when clamped to the tail to say part of it's real name and part of Slowpokes name making everyone think that Slowbro and Slowking are evolutions of Slowpoke but really he's still a Slowpoke.
De-evolution existed in pokemon dark energy. A rom hack of pokemon silver. It was basically a way to evolve and de-evolve eevee so it could learn all element attacks of vaporeon, jolteon, flareon, espeon and umbreon.

Hey, I have a theory that Cubone's Mothers are actually failed Mewtwo clones. I mostly only realized when the Pokemon Fusion website randomly messed up Mewtwo and Cubone with how similar Cubone's Skull was to that of Mewtwo. The evolution into Marowak would be due to incomplete genetic code... And possibly be part of how Marowak is a failure. Marowak, despite low Special stats can learn a lot of Special Type moves via TMs available in the Rocket Game Corner (Ice Beam, Flamethrower, etc.). Cubone's resemblance to Kangaskhan's cub is due to Mew's similarity to fetus depictions in Textbooks that lean more to Larmack Evolution... Which is part of my theory that textbooks on Larmackian Evolution were what created Mew, much like how Voltorb, Klink, Foongus, Grimer, Magnemite, etc. Are derived from human interaction... Just Mew ended up Time Traveling due to Celebi, Dialga or whatever the Gen VI time traveling Pokemon happens to be. But yeah: Cubone's mother as a Mewtwo reject.

Some theory video on UA-cam said that slowpoke was omniscient and when the Shellder bites it's tell the pain grounds him long enough to think (that part is debunk now). If Shellder bites it's head the extreme pain brings him back to reality and which explains why he is so smart. So when the Shellder is knocked off his head it forgets because they have so much on their mind,until a Shellder grounds their mind again.

Uh, Proto? Aren't you forgetting a King's Rock is also required for Slowpoke to become a Slowking? It wouldn't make much sense if it was only a Shellder like you point out in the anime; even the Slowpoke who became a Slowking needed to have a King's Rock to become a Slowking; you even showed that part before the Shellder clamped onto Slowpoke's noggin!

Well, there is one thing i would like to change in this theory. You said that the shelder poison prevents slowpoke from jerking their tail, losing its prey. Well, the shelder DOES cause a sudden pain, because, Im a fisher and when you feel a fish on the line, you DO jerk up in a sudden movement. Its just one think i wanted to point out, fine polishing this already wonderful theory.
This makes so much sense. Slowpoke is just too smart for its own good. It keeps it safe by only just fishing not risking its life but hunting, it has found true peace in the world so it doesn't seek danger. It becomes stupider with the introduction of poison. But even when it becomes stupider it is still extremely smart. So the Shelder on the tail does give an effect to the brain it is just less because it has to go through the body, where as on the head it goes directly to the brain. So Slowking is really the stupidest of the three yet smarter then pretty much any other living creature.

Another thing you could've mentioned was Slowbro's fainting animation in Pokémon Stadium. Slowbro turns to look at the Shellder on its tail to see if it is fainted or not, it wouldn't have to do that if it felt pain, it would fall on its own. I don't think Shellder clamps onto Slowpoke's tail in order to taste the tail, but much rather so it can get nourishment by becoming a parasite and controlling Slowbro to ward off Pokémon that would otherwise threaten or eat Shellder, Slowbro feeds itself and does all the work, while Shellder sucks out nutrition via the blood vessels in Slowbro's tail and controls Slowbro's thoughts and powers, most likely from the use of neurotoxins and poisons as you mentioned in the video. However, I think fish are attracted to Slowpoke's tail because the tip of Slowpoke's tail probably secretes an odor, liquid, or taste that entices them to bite onto it, much like a worm on a hook. If you notice that white tip is not present in Slowking and it no longer attracts Shellders or other fish to bite onto it so they instinctively will not do so any longer. As to why in the anime Shellders did not want to bite onto a Slowpoke's head was most likely because of the fact that Slowpoke maintains control of its body when they turn into a Slowking and simply uses shelder as a medium for its psychic powers while the Shellder usurps control when it turns into a Slowbro and it controls its psychic powers instead of simply becoming a tool with no control as it's body instinctively transforms itself when it bites onto a Slowpoke. This would more or less simulate how real animals would interact with one another and I very much agree with this video. Good work.P.S.- YES, I overanalyzed a Pokémon.

It's still a slowking, but this time Its basically much more bulkier. Slowking has heightened spDef, while slowbro has heightened Def. combine those 2 together and make it a bit slower because of the lack of movement available to it and possibly more health, and you just have a Superbulk telekinetic monster. It won't really be able to feel anything but its still as smart as a scientist.

Im thinking positively here, If it were to survive 2 at the same time, that may be what would happen, They may establish this as one of the mega evolutions if they think of it, it'll have an ability similar to filter where it cuts super effective damage by 1/4

That could work! Or maybe it could just throw itself into the water so that it may be bitten by so many shellders that you can hardly see any slowpoke. The pain from the poison causes it to become a raging, physical based beast of a pokemon.
Thats a bit much, especially for a game made for children. But the poison numbs the slowpoke more than hurting him, but it basically gives him a posible 160+ def, making the ultimate physical blocker who can never move, also his sp atk would be boosted to a 120 and atk to a 100 along with some massive damage atk moves to make him unpredictable and hard to counter, still needs trick room tho

It is possible that Slowpoke isn't in tact that smart, but Shellder could be. It is possible that Shellder have ability to control mind of Slowpoke and use his power as his own.

My guess is shelder has a mutual evolution when coming into contact with Slowpoke that makes it evolve, taking two potential forms dependent on how it effects Slowbro. This evolution is what gains the Poison typing.
Would be nice if Shelder's alternate Poison type evolution could somehow be attained independently from Slowpoke. One of the Professors need to start working on a means to emulate the effects slowpoke has on Shelder.

I have a theory about Ditto. Ditto originated from the original attempts to clone mew, thus why the same color/shiny color pallet, and transform/the ability to use any move. Though ditto can only do this while transformed because it is a failed clone, and did not get passed the stage for it's cells to grow beyond a mass of amorphous stem cells. The scientists, not aware that these blobs were actually alive, disposed of the failed globs of cells. Once out of the cell chambers, they "woke up" from their hybernative state, and began to explore/produce. Thus becoming a new Pokemon.

I have a theory you should discuss regarding this topic. Slowpoke does not evolve. Think about it, when the Shelder clams onto the Slowpoke the only change in the Slowpoke is that it stands up. Slowpoke might already be able to do this, maybe it's just too lazy to do it. The Shelder is the one that actually changes it's physical appearance. So Shelder is the one actually evolving into either Broster or Kingster and is controlling the Slowpoke, even when clamped to the tail to say part of it's real name and part of Slowpokes name making everyone think that Slowbro and Slowking are evolutions of Slowpoke but really he's still a Slowpoke.

De-evolution existed in pokemon dark energy. A rom hack of pokemon silver. It was basically a way to evolve and de-evolve eevee so it could learn all element attacks of vaporeon, jolteon, flareon, espeon and umbreon.

Hey, I have a theory that Cubone's Mothers are actually failed Mewtwo clones. I mostly only realized when the Pokemon Fusion website randomly messed up Mewtwo and Cubone with how similar Cubone's Skull was to that of Mewtwo.
The evolution into Marowak would be due to incomplete genetic code... And possibly be part of how Marowak is a failure. Marowak, despite low Special stats can learn a lot of Special Type moves via TMs available in the Rocket Game Corner (Ice Beam, Flamethrower, etc.).
Cubone's resemblance to Kangaskhan's cub is due to Mew's similarity to fetus depictions in Textbooks that lean more to Larmack Evolution... Which is part of my theory that textbooks on Larmackian Evolution were what created Mew, much like how Voltorb, Klink, Foongus, Grimer, Magnemite, etc. Are derived from human interaction... Just Mew ended up Time Traveling due to Celebi, Dialga or whatever the Gen VI time traveling Pokemon happens to be.

I thought back in gen one they explained the Slowbro evolution as Shelder adding enough weight to Slowpokes tail to counterbalance it allowing bipedalism. This was supposed to be their way of depicting a symbiotic, no parasitic relationship. I don't remember anything about toxins. Also, this theory completely ignored the King's Rock and its role in the Slowking evolution.

according to the anime, slowbro is not a parasitic relationship. shelder gets to hitch a ride and munch on the tail, and slowbro gets to stand up on its back legs and use its arms for something othet than walking.
and the slow family isnt the only thing capable of devolution. according to the pokedex, exeggutor heads are capable of falling off and reverting to the state of an exeggcute
