One monument in Sweden, in Stockholm, called Gamla Stan, or old town, isn't a monument in the traditional sense, but one monument that is a monument in the traditional sense is the giant straw goat built in Gävle City every year. In Sweden, goats pulled Santas sleigh, and we Swedes comemorate that by building a giant straw goat that someone usually burn down. There has been years where the goat survived it all, and there has been years where the goat was burned down.
To be honest, i don't know why they burn it down, but someone always burn it down, for i guess reasons

I have stayed in "Cinderellas Suite" at Disney World. It was amazing. The suite actually comes with its own staff, and midnight tour of the Magic Kingdom, and direct access to rides without waiting, saying that our priority was due to being "Disney Royalty". Cinderellas' restaurant that is also in the castle was cleared of guests so that we could dine in privacy. We were fortunate to have had won a night in the suite and was able to stay 4 more nights at a Safari View suite at Animal Kingdom lodge as a result of the contest. I personally will never forget it.

This was absolutely fascinating, I didn't know most of these! I don't mind the area under the Lincoln Memorial becoming a museum, museums are fantastic. I loved visiting them when I was able to 😊 Great video, thank you 😊

I have lived in Washington DC for almost 30 years, Now I am excited to be here much longer. The Lincoln memorial museum will be one other thing I want to see
went there on a trip 9/10 Very good but one point off because of its so cold!! musuem and stuff i went to and the big monuments were amazing

The statue of liberty was supposed to be a likeness of the sculptor's mother. (According to him before he died anyway) Maybe the brother just resembles their mother.

Why wouldn't Disneyworld allow someone to stay in the Cinderella Palace room for $40k??? They could donate all the money to charity!!
Why? So the charity can legally pockets 36k for their own means?
Well, for one reason.. if they let people stay once, they'd have millions of others demanding they let them stay too. Second, any damage done to the room could be extremely expensive to fix since it's destroying history.
That room is for celebrities to be 'entertained by the children they purchase.
They really only used it for a Make-A-Wish wish… and that was basically it

How about “since the 19th century”? Geodetic markers are still crucial in surveying today. They are used on all of our elevation maps and a lot of our boundary maps.
