I always come away from your videos amazed and inspired, but THIS one was next level. The sheer scale of the ride's production with a really clever storytelling technique tying it all together was just mind-boggling. And all for a great cause too? 13 months _well_ spent!
This is literally insane. We watched on the TV, but I had to come on this morning to comment. The time and effort you put in is always evident, but this was next level. To highlight such a deserving and related charity was really lovely, too. Well done on such a fantastic project and video! Laughed, cried, jumped, and got extra excited for my DLP trip next year. Thank you!
Chris, I just watched this with my kids (8 and 6 years old) and the look of wonder on their faces was absolutely magical. The fact that you showed "how the trick works" made it even more special. Thank you for educating while entertaining the next generation.
A fun Disney park fact: the pirates ride in Shanghai had an issue where given the way the boats move (magnets) the boats are forced through the water at consistent speeds. For those who immediately see a problem, you're better than the people who worked on it. If you force water through a channel, congrats, you've made a pump. So the end of the ride area started flooding and the start of the ride had low water levels. This was solved by a temporary industrial pump to recirculate the water (that is now permanent).
I love your videos. It always makes my day better when I come home and you have uploaded a new video. Also, I'm surprised that I'm the first reply. I love going to the parks and riding the rides and then coming home after and watching your videos to see how they work. I hope you upload again soon.
Amazing! It popped up on my feed, and I was intrigued and loved the whole ride and construction phase. The lack of energy in the middle-that's also me! So, first-you did good. Secondly, I have some ideas: how to clean the water, the instant fog, maybe add some animatronics, and maybe a boat model or models that can transport more 'people' around. And for winter, why not go all in and create a winter wonderland bonanza?
👏 👏 👏 👏 I enjoyed every minute of it. I was back at the theater park. And it's been a while, especially when your just broke. Hope this could be life size one day. The story and details are amazing 👏 ❤.
