If the caves are both very dark, being lost on the above water one just means you are just lost, while being lost while trying to find your way out underwater just means you're dead

It’s like the people who come up to Peggy’s cove in Nova Scotia 🇨🇦, which is home to a beautiful old lighthouse on some VERY angry and unpredictable Atlantic waters meters away. There are signs everywhere “Do NOT stand on the black rocks!”. The big black rocks are black because ocean waves 🌊 will jump up without warning and soak them. So. If you are dumb enough to stand on them, there’s a darn good chance one of those waves will take you with it, and into the Atlantic Ocean. Or you’ll slip and fall!..from the wet and uneven rock surface. And if either occurs, rescue is nearly impossible. Two tourists from Ontario recently stood on the black rocks despite the signs posted EVERYWHERE. Both were swept into the ocean. I believe one person passed away and the other may have survived though I’m not certain. Yeah. People. Are dumb. Peggy’s cove is an absolutely GORGEOUS place, and is a HUGE tourist spot, that brings in a ton of people from all over the world regardless of the season. So it’s absolutely worth going to see. But if this reckless behaviour continues, we may lose the right to visit it. And that would be a shame. So if you go, have an awesome time! Explore, see the sights! Just don’t stand on the damn black rocks! Gosh darn! 😅. Take care!

There is a man-made lake near my hometown and it does have spillway, but they are outside the actual lake and behind a fence, close to dam control building, or however it is called, where workers are (the dam is for flood control, but also for getting water for near by settlements). Only if the water reaches certain level does it actually work as shown here. Usually, it is just some "weird thing" not many people get what it is used for. So somebody accidentally ending down there is almost impossible.
In the first place, if they just put in some concrete poles at the edge of these sinkholes to prevent people from being dragged in, no one would end up dead. Add a simple rope/chain between one of them and the land and they could self-help themselves despite being caught in the strong current. There's also all these 'lakes' that formed in past mines that were left. Seriously, couldn't they just stack all the sand and rock nearby while mining, only to mostly fill them back in with it once the mine closes? The people responsible for the design of these things should be held liable because of the combination of how obvious the threat should be and how easy it is to mitigate ahead of time.

Yeah. Drowning would be a horribly painful way to go. You know the way you start feeling after holding your breath a certain amount of time, how your whole body starts hurting? Imagine that and not being able to get relief because you're trapped underwater. Burning would be the only way even more horribly agonizing. I wish that when it is my time, I will go quietly in my sleep, that it will not be painful
Boiling alive is probably better than drowning. When it comes to drowning, you instinctively hold you breath as best as you can to avoid death. The drowning then comes after you can't hold it anymore. The boiling kills you all the way through and there's no way to resist it really. It'd be more painful, but I'd rather that than fear for my life as I start to loose my breath.
What do you mean? Both ways kill you. And boiling alive will be an even more painful death than drowning, although drowning becomes painful too when you continue to not be able to take in any more oxygen. I would much rather die quietly in my sleep than to die in an agonizingly painful way. Surely you'll agree with me on that
@@alvexok5523 Either you're dense or are intentionally trolling. The point I made is that you can attempt to resist drowning which invokes terror of impending death. You can't resist being boiled alive, meaning you can't fight it.
Yes, if I met a murderer and he asked me how I wanted to die, I would pick boil over drown because if you got boiled it would be like really bad pain for like 6 sec, and then I could rest in peace and never have to die again! On the other hand, I’d be holding by breath and it would not be fun and this could go on for like a whole minute and then I finally took a breath of water and then finally I wouldn’t survive anymore. If I had to die right now, I’d pick the quickest option.
The whirlpool diver actually had a costume that had air trapped in it. The moment he dove under the water to get a better shot, due to the slight increase of the pressure, the air trapped in the suit bubbled out of the suit loosing buoyancy this way. That's how he was dragged under. He also wore a horse mask during the filming.
being stuck in a dark, underwater cave, not being able to get out would be SO much worse than being in deadly chemicals. Everybody hit the subscribe button.
My feelings exactly! Give me pain rather than SHEER FEAR and PANIC! But I'm not a very objective judge considering I'm SEVERELY claustrophobic! But that means I'll never voluntarily ever be in any kind of cave system that I can't reach my arms over my head and not touch ceiling (of course I'm only 5'2 😅) and be able to stretch my arms side to side without feeling anything. And I'm dang sure not going to be in one with WATER in it! 😮
I like how oxygen (O or O2) is a perfectly safe and we need that to live, but the moment you combine it with anything it almost become deadly, like very deadly, I only know H2O is the only thing kind of safe because your body also need it but you can also get unalive by it

It's infamous for a multitude of bizarre disappearances that always end with drowning, and it wasn't until Naya Revera became its latest victim that the authorities legally prohibited swimming forever. Very interesting! Nitpicking 🤓: Sulfuric acid (H2SO4) is not a metal. None of the constituent elements are considered metals either. The brother and sister hiked to a secluded location to take a dip in the hot springs far from prying eyes? 11:25 🤔
Woah, the Dog that swam for 8 days….what an incredible animal. I am so happy the saved him.😊
I’m never swimming again
Can you make a cute but deadly animals Part2 Plzzzzz!
I've never been able to understand why anyone wants to go diving in a cave. Noooooooo thank you!
it might be dumb what im saying but wouldnt it be something to put a strong net or metalic net over those glory holes?
Don't swim where the water grins back at you.
The worst place to swim is in a cold pool...
I knew water is deep and fun to play in but never knew it could be deadly!
How did you not know that water is deadly?
@@joha6266 I did but not that much
@@joha6266they graduated from popeyes bathroom
ITS WORSE
Yes, if I met a murderer and he asked me how I wanted to die, I would pick boil over drown because if you got boiled it would be like really bad pain for like 6 sec, and then I could rest in peace and never have to die again! On the other hand, I’d be holding by breath and it would not be fun and this could go on for like a whole minute and then I finally took a breath of water and then finally I wouldn’t survive anymore. If I had to die right now, I’d pick the quickest option.
Jokes on you, I can't swim anyway💀💀💀
6:52 I GOT AN AD AND IT TALKED ABOUT A TEAM OF FREE DIVERS
The whirlpool diver actually had a costume that had air trapped in it. The moment he dove under the water to get a better shot, due to the slight increase of the pressure, the air trapped in the suit bubbled out of the suit loosing buoyancy this way. That's how he was dragged under. He also wore a horse mask during the filming.

I heard that Lake Natron is one of the scariest places in Tanzania
Your the best youtuber ive been watching for 2 years now i love you man thx for the content ❤
I AM NOT GOING THERE
being stuck in a dark, underwater cave, not being able to get out would be SO much worse than being in deadly chemicals.
I like how oxygen (O or O2) is a perfectly safe and we need that to live, but the moment you combine it with anything it almost become deadly, like very deadly, I only know H2O is the only thing kind of safe because your body also need it but you can also get unalive by it
10:52 What would even BE magic if it scientifically existed?
BTW: You don't need to wonder what a unicorn would look like. Go back to the original description of the unicorn... it's a word for word description of what we now call the Rhino.
Dude, you totally forgot about Lake Piru, a reservoir located in Los Padres National Forest and Topatopa Mountains of Ventura County, California, created by the construction in 1955 (70 years ago) of the Santa Felicia Dam on Piru Creek! The place is basically cursed, as in magically fatale misfortune. It's infamous for a multitude of bizarre disappearances that always end with drowning, and it wasn't until Naya Revera became its latest victim that the authorities legally prohibited swimming forever. Harrison Ford once crashed his helicopter into that godforsaken lake once
14:50 I didn’t knew Naruto was a city O_O
And people wonder why I'm scared of water 😂

You see this is what caused my fear of water💀
Very interesting!
Nitpicking 🤓: Sulfuric acid (H2SO4) is not a metal. None of the constituent elements are considered metals either. E.g. sulfur is an extremely poor conductor with an electrical resistivity of about 10^15 Ωm. For comparison, iron has a resistivity of 9.7 * 10^-8 Ωm. (lower figure = better conductor, data from WolframAlpha)
Why did it take so long to rescue the dog? Would've been so much easier to bring in a helicopter.
8:37 happy this isn’t the one in Iceland that I swam in when I was 4
22:06 Rip currents, the invisible killer. AllTime10's UA-cam channel has a video called Top 10 Most Dangerous Beaches In The World, and it has that beach on it's list.
I’m just glad the dog got out 😩
Now I don’t know if I wanna go swimming anywhere 😅
I agree with you 💯 percent!!!
1:21 elden ring lake of rot
11:04 that looks like how the top of a volcano with someone looking at it with heat googles 💀💀💀
I know a scuba diver that was instructed by a dive master that later died along with 3 others in jacobs well.Somehow they kicked up so much debris they couldn’t see and all ran out of air….BTW the tanks don’t contain oxygen but just plain old dried compressed air
Not sure it was a great idea watching this just before bed.
The only living being I feel sorry for was the dog. Thank god he was a saved.
Dog didn’t do it on purpose unlike does dumb people
