isnt this supposed to be for total war napoleon?? I have been playing this mod for napoleon for quite a while, the devs pretty much went insane trying to finish the mod for 4 years.
My favorite mod. Played as Germany, researched everything as i took over everything. My recruitment in Paris and Berlin cost 0 to get tanks and infantry. It was glorious. Honestly wish someone would create a similar mod for Empire with the same turn system as this one.

Not sure if you were joking or not, but bayonet charges were actually very much a thing in WWI. Everybody just focuses on the extensive shelling and mud hells, but bayonets were pretty useful for convincing the nice enemies in the neighboring trench to move out. Cavalry was also pretty widely used, just mostly on the eastern front which also gets overlooked in the popular media.
German askari (an african tribe in their colony) were the first integrated unit in a major power iirc. They served in their schutzetrupen alongside white officers, though there were black NCOs that commanded (some) white soldiers.
Actually nothing bad at all happened to Kaiser Franz Josef of Austria-Hungary(apart from losing the war of course). I think you mistakely took him for Archiduke Franz Ferdinand xd
