Thank you sir, I really like jungle val as well hopefully i can make it thrive as I'm told it will grow the height of the tank and fill it up. I can' wait, thanks for stopping by.
Dear Gabriel: Wow, I’m surprised how well your jungle vallisneria (Vallisneria americana) is doing! I only managed to save one specimen, from a 5-gallon bucket, half-full of jungle val. This is probably because I soaked it, for a full two days, in alum solution, to rid it of pest snail and limpet eggs. The surviving specimen has been only a few inches tall, for a couple of months! And, it is in a tank, with a fertilized substrate and injected CO2. Those angelfish are very nice specimens. Thank you for sharing this, terrific update. All my best, Sincerely, Brinegar
It is 99% Pool filter sand with a very light coat of crushed coral. So far it appears to be doing good. a couple of strands turning brown but i was told that will happen because of the transplant from another tank to this one.
That tank is looking amazing Gabriel. Great job my friend.
Thank you brother I really appreciate you stopping by.
Love jungle Val! Appreciate the video! Nice angels for sure!

@GCaquatics that's awesome - do you have any future inhabitants that you have your eye on? That looks like a big tank so you've got lots of options
Some Cori’s, a pleco or two, some rainbows and maybe some loaches.
@@GCaquatics great choices 👌 - I look forward to seeing the progress and the new stock
Thank you, I am pretty darn excited myself 😁
Looking good. That is sanded or crushed coral. How are the val doing in it. Trying val on a new sanded tank
