This looks absolutely AWESOME. I couldn't watch super far because I don't want to spoil too much for myself. I have to give this modlist a try - By far my favorite channel rn
Yo thanks Joov, that's super kind of you! It's a really cool mod, and I think there's another one called Chanterelle that's similar. I'm partway through your lootbox video btw, that's a fantastic playthrough concept lol.
I love how your character takes the time to light a fire using tinder and striking sparks off of a rock when you have a spell that lets you shoot flames out of your hand
Depending on at which point in the Formerly Blue Cinematic Universe this takes place, Gjeoffriehy's reign of terror has probably spread to the other holds. Staying on the island was the right choice.
I’d bet gjeoffriehy is not just spending his time as a landlord anymore. he might trying to buy or rule over all of Skyrim one day, then the whole world next.
I love The Island. I've started some of my favorite play throughs here. Fun fact, both the cabin you stayed at and the cabin with the sawmill also has an entire farming plot that used shovels to activate so you can make your own farm than just using the planting plots. There is also a few hidden quests you can find here, not just finding the crew. I see you had the option to make Amakai's Amulet, so I imagine you found some of them.
As a veteran Skyrim player, your videos are the exact mods and challenges I'd play if I still could. Unfortunately, I had to make some changes and playing Skyrim no longer fits in my life. I miss it sometimes, but your videos are a healthy way for me to feel like I can still play. I appreciate it 💜
I would definitely play this on an Argonian character. - Not just for water breathing but also resistances that are useful in Survival with Realistic Needs. Also, having three planters there for 10 potatoes was nicely calculated. First you plant one, and harvest it. Then you plant that one, and harvest two Then you plant a third and keep one. Then you just harvest three potatoes three growth cycles and have exactly 10.
I never knew there's mod like this, it's so amazingly immersive The way you can craft simple axe with branch? Man that looks so fun to play Also the video itself, the way you narrating really sound like you were actually there, experiencing all of it by yourself Really love this episode, please keep it up!
omg i'm about to watch someone showcasing the mod THE ISLAND ??? it's one of my favourite mod, combined with Heartcraft, you can litteraly colonize the island.
I haven't played Skyrim in forever. Was testing some mods out with Live Another Life and seems good for a real playthrough. I was thinking of starting on the Island but I also saw Chantrelle has somewhat of a similar theme. Not sure which one to try
Love the video and the mod! However, I find it a bit weird that you have to light the fire "by striking a stone" while you are literally a walking flamethrower.
i hope you do a part 2, because there are a few quests left that are very interesting, and i found a single jarrin root for some reason, so that could help for something.
I played through the Island on a character several times over thanks to tinkering with my load order and I explored it pretty thoroughly, honestly the place is perfect for a survival/camping game setup since it's a perfect place to practice. Add in the 'Dynamic Magicka and Stamina' mod and the custom perks for camping and Frostfall and you can get a decent amount of headway on your survival skills before getting to Skyrim. On a side note, there's a few things I could mention for future reference: There's a woodcutters axe next to the Ruined house up the hill from the docks as well as some stumps you can interact with that can then be used to make chopping blocks by the hunters cabins. If you take too long to explore the island the explorers bodies will despawn, found that one out the hard way. Find a shovel and you can set up farmland by certain hunters cabins and if you get firewood and pots you can light the fireplaces for cooking and warmth. Just my pointers that I didn't see covered in this video, I hope you continue this as there's more to uncover on the Island.
I love this alternate start mod, especially when you have things like Campfire and can make your own equipment, given enough time and hunting some resources.
To summarize,.the island is an older mod ment to be played with alt life. campfire, frostfall, hunter born, and exsmithing are all recommend for full enjoyment of this one.
I'd like to think that in the end. He maybe travels to skyrim, does some treade with spare hides and stuff, buying better equipment and stuff he can't get on the island, but otherwise makes a life for himself there. Would like to see him explore the underground area more though.
I feel like using magic which is basically unlimited ruins the spirit of a survival challenge, just using scrolls is much more acceptable because they're limited and you have to work to get them Even so this was a cool video and seems like a fun set of mods
Another incredible video, these only keep on getting better and better lol. The ideas are so abstract and unique that for me atleast it helps seperate you from the other Skyrim UA-camrs. also, officially a patreon member now. It feels good.
If there is one challenge I think would be the hardest skyrim challenge yet, is the Hall of the Dragonborn mod, a massive quest where you gotta fill a entire museum with skyrims many quests and items.
Fair, that would've been a nice inclusion. It's hard to find a good place on the screen to put labels like that though without them overlapping with other stuff too much.
I found this dude on accident at like 5k or maybe a little less subs and just WOW the amount he's grown is amazing and truly deserved! Keep it up dude loving the content a lot!!!
awesome, would love to see a survival game built specifically around Skyrims lore and creatures but with the character being a normal dude, not the dragonborn.
Dwemer are dwarves. Mays cap are from way south of skyrim.. Tamriel. Man its been a long time since i played. Is Skyrim still sold? I never did play it, but with mods like this, looks like a lot of fun! stay the hell away from spriggans! They are a real danger unless you are well equipped and a fair level
This is really interesting and unique take on the usual bethesda challenge videos. A bunch of cool mods I wouldn't have the patience to play but I love to see showcased in this format.
I discovered your channel through your videos "Skyrim - but badly translated" which I found so entertaining and funny. Especially because of you and the way you're playing. You took the game and the NPCs serious no matter what nonsense they talked which made it even funnier. And here I see that this is the way you are and it is a pleasure to watch your videos because the viewers can see that you are having fun as well. Stay as you are and good luck for the future and your channel - may it "live long and prosper". PS: This mod is fantastic and I will definitely play it in the near future (the same as your "Skyrim Farm Simulator which you filled with life too).
Im not sure about Skyrim trolls specifically but in the mythology of others trolls usually cant be hot by sunlight so maybe thats why it froze up by cave entrance
Suggestion: Maybe find a way to make it in one run, i do think that having different timelines makes the video kind of confusing to watch. And also you are going to be discovering things as you progress, so always is a new experience for you and the audience. Keep the good job! Loving the vids!❤
I always look forward to your uploads. :) I just passed a really hard test I’ve been studying months for and already feeling great and then I see this video and I thought the day couldn’t get any better but it did. :) 🎉🎉🎉
This would be a crazy intro to Skyrim 🤣. Imagine growing up your entire life, only to get stranded on an island, come back to Skyrim and finding out you're the dragonborn?!

Jooooovvv
When will you be releasing it sir?

It's MAGIC fire!
It doesn't work at wood!

lol I love that.

Gjeoffriehy actually caused the apocalypse.
You should make another video like this it's pretty good 👍

The Dwemers must have had amazing woodworker's for the wooden dock to be still standing and not be a pile of rotten planks...
The quality of these videos are super top notch! Loving every single bit of them!
Happy to hear it!
Can't wait to see what those two plots are about, and you dying to falmer again.

I seriously love the twist of just deciding to stay on the island at the end.
Stay on the island. There's ALOT more to this place. Chanterelle is also wonderful as well.

I love the concept of this video, it was so well done too! Can't wait to try this mod out for myself and just live as a peaceful island mage.
Now we need to see you clear out the falmer and turn this island into your own and finish those quests

These videos make me want to play Skyrim again. Good job with the great content mate.
There's an addon for the Island that takes you to Chanterelle afterward, another HUGE survival map. Two worldspaces the size of Skyrim.
I love that you said pestle right the first time and then wrong the second time.
I want more of this island survival and I am certain you can make some really cool things on this island
