He did decide to stop wearing the iron armor at some point though lol, I don't know why. It was still in his inventory. Just wanted to let the tummy breathe maybe.
the sheer number of ways to play this game because of mods makes me emotional tbh. great video. "there's something to like in both of us" is so much better than abandoning a part of who you are or forgetting who you once were.
You really cooked on this one, I felt for his journey and it was hilarious. Gotta love when you're in Markarth at 40:59 performing next to a dead body and the guy is just clapping for you
This was a really fun video! A fun story to tell and might serve as a template for a future bard character I'll make. Maybe not with the skooma addiction and rockstar getup though. 😄
This is so good that I've never played Skyrim, and I'm still invested! The editing and your voice acting, the narrative you've crafted... this must have taken an enormous amount of work that my non-gamer self can't even comprehend. I found your channel randomly through the farmer mod playthrough and thought that was hilarious, but the storybuilding choices here were even more engrossing (while still being funny). Fantastic work!
Damn, I'm kinda crying super hard, because I got high today and I really shouldn't have, but I just couldn't do it without using. When you said "a series of every days" the Just For Today Narcotics Anonymous thing triggered in my brain and shocked me like a jolt of electricity. I don't know if you ever used, I hope not, but if you have, I wish you the best, and you made a funny but still tactful psa about going overboard with substance use either way. Thank you for reminding me that even though I slipped up, tomorrow will be another day where I can focus on recovery Just For That Day. Tldr: based video about drugs
It's insane how much you can do in Skyrim. Modded Skyrim can be so many amazing things, and you can tell your own story. This video was incredible, and the storytelling was so well done.
This is one of the best skyrim vids I've seen in a while. I didn't think I'd get so invested in this rando bard's journey, but the story kept me hooked from beginning to end. Unique idea, flawless execution!
Came in expecting classic Formerly Blue fun. Came out with a life lesson... and a fun video. Great job on the storytelling: gradually switching from an omniscient narrator to Jhair-me's POV made the transition seamless. I liked it. 👏😃
This video keeps popping up in my UA-cam feed, and gosh darn, I guess I'll watch. This was actually pretty funny, and as a struggling musician, I approve of your methods.
This is my favorite video on the channel. I've tried to do this so many times over the years and sir the patience and tenacity you must've put into just the gameplay part of this is salute worthy. I'm glad the bard mods eventually do what they say they do haha I'll never see it any other way.
Bards reborn really fleshes out the Bard's college. You have to learn how to play instruments and learn history and all kinds of stuff. I very much enjoyed playing that mod. I need to do it again once I finish my legacy of the dragonborn run.
Maybe trivialized getting clean from drug addiction a bit. "Why dont people just throw away their drugs and go work at a farm" :D but otherwise it was amazing! I enjoyed every bit! Thanks!
I think that the Bards College should have dragon shout music buffs in a voice branch of a music field. The other music skills would be lute, drum, flute, and horn
I believe there is one aweful orc bard in a tavern somewhere He was so bad someone called for the dark brotherhood on him. They should have added a mechanic to the mod that if you got so many people upset... they might send assassins On a side note, go serenade and profess love for the Elven Ambassador
Next video idea: I Became the Best Cook in Modded Skyrim You work your way from an inn cook to one day be the head chef for the Blue Palace and to be looked at in the same breath as the best chefs in Tamriel. It’s a dangerous road that can lead to being hated by your peers while being revered by jarls and the public. Beware though, because this notoriety can lead to some making deals with dark forces to wipe you off the map much like the Gourmet.
I have to admit, I wasn't really sure I would like this video _((Coz a rocker in Skyrim is immersion-breaking 😆))_ ...but I enjoyed it immensely. There's a good character arc and progression here that's much better than some of the latest video games' and media nowadays, and that's saying something. Nevertheless, it was fun. Keep it up 👍
If the dark brotherhood doesn't try to kill you for horrible music then we all owe that orc in morthal an apology.
25:20 lol
This isn't Nickelback - this is Septimback.
You again
This is perfect 💀💀💀
Ooh that would've been a good name, you're right!!
🤣🤣🤣
He wasn’t that bad at the start! lol
Good man Belrand, staying with Jhair-me through thick and thin, a silent, strong presence to help this wayward bard find his way
He did decide to stop wearing the iron armor at some point though lol, I don't know why. It was still in his inventory. Just wanted to let the tummy breathe maybe.
Maybe he meant it as a way to express to Jhair-me that he too felt oppressed by the shackles of society (and decency)
@@FormerlyBlue He worked hard on those abs, he has every right to show them off
29:20
A musician passing on drugs? COMPLETELY UNIMMERSIVE.
a young musician still on the way to fame.
once the money comes in, the party starts.
Loved the roleplaying! What a rollercoaster of emotions lol
Thanks for featuring Skyrim's Got Talent and Skyrim on Skooma! ♥
Hey JaySerpa, thanks for dropping by! Glad you enjoyed, needless to say you make some awesome mods!
21:05 Hey, you're a musician, not a warrior. You gotta have a good bodyguard.
Edit: *more like a bardy-guard*
Or maybe a party-guard? :D
the sheer number of ways to play this game because of mods makes me emotional tbh. great video. "there's something to like in both of us" is so much better than abandoning a part of who you are or forgetting who you once were.
Modded Skyrim is 1000+ games in one.
@@FormerlyBluewhen it works that is 😅
@@sethaquauis Skill issue.
You really cooked on this one, I felt for his journey and it was hilarious.
Gotta love when you're in Markarth at 40:59 performing next to a dead body and the guy is just clapping for you
People in Skyrim don't seem to have very good situational awareness.
I can't help but love how genuinely heartfelt this got at the end there. A welcome surprise. Keep doing what you do, these videos are a lovely watch!
Glad you enjoyed :)
Brother we ARE making it out of Windhelm with this one
Formerly blue I now announce you the UA-camr I watch as I sleep and it’s the highest honour I can bestow 🔥
For some reason I expected NPCs to talk like in these translate videos
he needs to go play for the Greybeards to calm all those lost dogs up there
@@GenericUsername-qp1ww He should have gone the whole way up the mountain. Maybe Tom the Stupid Ghost would have enjoyed some music.
Came for the music, stayed for the nice message. Your writing is really good :)
Imagine living in Skyrim and the dragonborn that the prophecy told you about started playing a guitar instead of fighting alduin. Id be pretty upset
“I didn’t know Skyrim took place in Seattle” is too fucking funny 😭
I'm so invested in this! Never thought you would make me care about Skyrim again but you have
wasnt expecting the skooma plotline, brilliant! 😂
This was a really fun video! A fun story to tell and might serve as a template for a future bard character I'll make. Maybe not with the skooma addiction and rockstar getup though. 😄
this was great video
and weirdlyt wholesome message at the end

Awesome to hear, welcome to the channel :)
Was not expecting the fall of a true legend
The background music is making me wanna play Stardew Valley again.
Me too lol. But alas, Skyrim has me tethered.
Damn, I'm kinda crying super hard, because I got high today and I really shouldn't have, but I just couldn't do it without using. This man ended Jaskier's whole carrer
It's insane how much you can do in Skyrim. Modded Skyrim can be so many amazing things, and you can tell your own story. This video was incredible, and the storytelling was so well done.
A more wholesome end than Gjeoffriehy. Poor Gjeoffriehy, If only he could've learned Jhair-me's example.
This is one of the best skyrim vids I've seen in a while. I didn't think I'd get so invested in this rando bard's journey, but the story kept me hooked from beginning to end. Unique idea, flawless execution!
Love this man's videos
Man, what a game haha. So many things you can do with mods.
i keep forgetting you don’t have 1+ million subs, the production value on your videos is insane
Seeing everyone panicking at your amazing musical skills is just hilarious.
21:07 now that you’ve built a reputation you need him as a bodyguard, 36:32 and at hobs fall cave you get some of the most op spells in there
Now tell me why I looked at the title and my first thought was "Rockstar? Like... The studio?"?
Genuinely beautiful conclusion, also incredible editing! You've outdone yourself!
Welp. Time to reinstall Skyrim again. Thanks for letting me know what my next run will be!
Rock On!
This was a lot of fun.
Came in expecting classic Formerly Blue fun. Came out with a life lesson... and a fun video. Great job on the storytelling: gradually switching from an omniscient narrator to Jhair-me's POV made the transition seamless. I liked it. 👏😃
Well, this was more engaging than I thought it'd be. Good storytelling.
Wow, such a great storyteller. It was just the break I needed at my days end. Thanks
Dude the stardew music in the background of a Skyrim video threw me for a loop
your content is always amazingly fun to watch, high quality stuff! keep up the good work, my man!
I don't know why but Jhair-me laying on his side as he succumbs to skooma reminds me of Requiem For A Dream.
sitting next to Horgeir with that goofy grin, that cracked me up 😅😅😅
“… and fall asleep eating a baked potato.” I felt that 😔🙌
This was the quickest 52 minutes has ever felt. This was a beautiful journey.
Spoiled, stubborn, and briming with unearned self confidence? Get this rockstar a podcast stat
What a beautiful, wholesome ending. Good work, Blue. (:
Dawg you always have the coolest video ideas this shit rules
This was brilliant! I really REALLY enjoyed this one 😀The whole rock-and-roll lifestyle and character arc was just brilliant! MORE LIKE THIS 😁😁😁
This video keeps popping up in my UA-cam feed, and gosh darn, I guess I'll watch. This was actually pretty funny, and as a struggling musician, I approve of your methods.
The opening was the best biopic I've seen in a while
This inspired me to write a script about a fantasy comedy, I call it "The Young Lad"
I love how music probably started as some dude that was like “work? Meh. I can make entertaining noises though”
Did I just watch a slice of life movie? And why is it better than half of what Netflix makes? XD
Glad you enjoyed! I have others too, check out the farming one and the Door Dash one if you haven't seen those yet!
Beautiful video! I needed that today haha

High Rocker 4-EVA 🤘🏻
Glad to hear it, and glad you enjoyed :)
As a musician and skyrim nerd this was amazing.
I love the idea of playing as a support for a follower! Will definitely try it the next time I do a new build.
Love this style, having a story to string along the gameplay. I hadn't even realized almost an hour passed!
Hey, glad you enjoyed it!
So far my favourite video, can't wait to see what's next and I hope Jhair Me will live the happy and peaceful life he deserves
Wow I didn't realise there was content in skyrim mods I thought they just added cool things like cheese
Belrand was your first roadie and it didn't take long for an assassination attempt to get rid of competition.
Bards reborn really fleshes out the Bard's college. You have to learn how to play instruments and learn history and all kinds of stuff. I very much enjoyed playing that mod. I need to do it again once I finish my legacy of the dragonborn run.
This is why I still love Skyrim. You can use it to tell stories. Good one!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!

A true immersive rock experience
What an epic use of (what I think is) a NEFFEX song! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It is! It's free in the UA-cam creator music library.
Honestly this was so good I hoped the video will end on a cliffhanger with Jhair-Me passing out in Red water den
love these style videos
i liked it within the first 30 seconds. excellent video. engaging and creative and fun
I think that the Bards College should have dragon shout music buffs in a voice branch of a music field. The other music skills would be lute, drum, flute, and horn
This was surprisingly emotional.
I can relate to this as an upcoming bard in real life lol
The Freddy Mercury of skyrim
I loved this video. Thanks for making it, you´re awesome! This made my saturday morning feel much better
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just phenomenal. I was waiting for the skooma arc and i was so pumped for when that happened.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!

Cool! Ive alwsys wanted to play a medival version of Black Sabbath or Guns of the Roses!!
this is an amazing video! really enticing to follow along. you'll get enough subs to become High Rocker yourself, Formely Blue. ;)
Aw that's so nice, glad you enjoyed!

Ah I do like that one! There's a mod that adds fancy baking recipes too.
You dont have a heavy euro accent, you mod, you have decent writing and pronunciation.... i think you earned a new subscriber
All that rain.... makes ya want to 'Ride the Lightning'.
Like a true Rockstar, Jairme is definitely bisexual
The moral of this video is stay away from Skooma or you will fall, that's why I always listen to Inigo 😂
...that random bard jumpscared me.... i thought she was in my room...
This was such a lovely naritive piece. I thoroughly enjoyed this!
If I am not mistaken they already have a bard class in the older Elder Scrolls games . I am surprised you didn't mention that .
Amazing video! Hoping to see the return of High Ro… I mean Jhair-me 🤘
Intro song is ‘the Devil you know’ by JJ grey & Mofro for anyone wondering! Hell of a beat :)
This captured the rock star lifestyle perfectly
I am speechless... That was so good!
Theses videos are great! I like to listen to them while I workout or play helldivers 2.
If there's any modded weapon like MH Hunting Horn, this playthrough will be epic 😂
I wonder what formerly blue will cook up next
Bro this almost reminds me of Jaskier from the witcher, travelling with a merc... lol
this guy went through a better character arc than most anime protagonists
I have to admit, I wasn't really sure I would like this video _((Coz a rocker in Skyrim is immersion-breaking 😆))_ ...but I enjoyed it immensely.
