Last time I chose the left for dead option, I spawned in the northern mountains of Solstheim and froze to death 100 feet away from the Skaal village. Alternate start mod and Frostfall make for one merciless duo
I personally don't know why Blackreach one is included. If someone can tell me how to get out of the alchemist's room (can't remember his name offhand) I'd be grateful. I can't even get past the black loading screen out of the door, I'm just dead before it finishes fading in.
@@jayhom5385Same here. Only way to do a Blackreach start is if you turn the difficulty down low enough to survive getting attacked by the dwarves sphere right outside and bolt for the elevator to the right. Problem is the black load screen. Enemies can hit you while the game is still loading, and you’re not invincible during that time. Makes it absolutely impossible to do that start on survival/legendary difficulty. Even the easiest setting can be rough/impossible if loading takes to long.
@@JohnDoe-dr9ffif you open the console while the game is in the black loading screen mode, the game will just freeze until it’s fully loaded! Glad that my little cheat adventures could help someone lol

I love Frostfall. I started in Winterhold with no money, minimal food. I could barely head out to kill some wolves and immediately froze to, well not death, but carried to the inn by some passerby.

Still love how you roleplay your characters and create such good stories on the go, you're very creative. I've played Skyrim to death and watched plenty of videos, but the way you really get into it and create these deep and immersive characters really breathes new life into the game for me, it's like watching a new storyline in the game unfold even though it's not actually part of the original game. 😄 I should try this next time I play skyrim, improv a character, it really looks fun!

Honestly living near a giants camp would be a great idea. Protection from wolves and such and warmth from the massive fires some if not most giant camps have some sort of shelter and it's shown giants take animal sacrifices and are very intelligent so you could probably hunt and give them meat from game and they could even accept you into there tribe although waring with rival giant tribes as a squishy human would be horrible. Don't know how familiar you are with Ark Survival Evolved but the mods in it comes with books and how tos. Which you have to read to progress. Because Chanterelle took Skyrim's Havoc engine and made a completely different game. From those working on Skywind. And some that did Beyond Skyrim Bruma. A whole new feel. A whole new world. 100 different varieties of enemies. Including different varieties of giants. Some say you meet a dwarf but I won't spoil that. Definitely something to look into to. Maybe the vampire or some memesis killed camila as revenge, and now he walks the wilds of skyrim, a lone ranger, hunting any danger and being the savior of the forest.
Good video. Idea: make your way to Riften (do something in that area and make your way to Solitude (pass Markath too) see how it goes. Maybe extend the trip back through the marshes east of Solitude and through Dawnstar back to Windhelm. There you got your series :D
Hey Jacoby, compared to some of the other series that are unfinished. a new take on Life as a bard would be welcome as you seemed unsatisfied with the fetch quests at the college and other mods at the time.
I love that bit about Skyrim with Terraforming Mechanics... if only because it made me smile and remember playing Arena. Where two of the spells you could learn was to delete terrain and create terrain. Heck in an interview it was even Todd Howard's favorite ability in the game as he found it a must have for dealing with some of the more labyrinthine dungeons. Just "poof, wall no longer exists. Locked door? I think you mean open gaping hole in the wall next to the door!". I really hope the next game includes some ability like that. Not that I'm holding my breath. I figure it's a 0% chance. But it'd be cool if you could get spells to just like create rock walls out of the ground or demolish walls of buildings or flood areas or freeze lakes, maybe even just like grow a tree instantly, and such. Just the novelty of that sort of thing coming back would like a fire in me. Granted I also just want the ability to climb vertical surfaces again. Don't even need levitation but if I could legit climb mountains or get over walls and on roofs without glitching terrain or taking a designated path, that'd be nice.
I did a survival play through recently on an island from a mod very aptly named “The Island”. It was quite fun and I’d recommend it to anyone who’d want to experience a cute little survival island with a simple goal. I played through it with no survival mod due to my mod list not yet being made for them, but it was still quite hard.
Maybe do a survival/live off land starting on floating ice or island up north and you can only walk and swim, not run/sprint, ie you don't run in snow or lose your footing. Should be challenging enough I think. Moving will slow so you'll need to plan your moves.
I think a little bit of trading should be acceptable. Most woodsman still traded for specialty items they couldn’t make for themselves, ie anything made of metal like cookware or diet staples like salt or grains.
Try Surviving up north. It's way tougher when you're freezing to death. Also try upping the difficulty. So that every wolf is dangerous and a Troll is deadly
A couple of things: 1. I may be wrong but I think you might need to equip the hunting knife for it to actually work. Again, I could be wrong 2. You got that Horker meat from the guy who died from that tree. The lucky somethingsomething person with the dibela statue 3. How is it that just you playing the game without much editing is more interesting than basically every other youtuber I watch?
I can empathize with needing to find a good place to set up camp. Needs to be at least relatively level, well away from a road, outside a settlement (obviously) - although I've set up campsites near settlements and that's all right. I like to trade, though. Might as well profit from the random things I find in the wilds of Skyrim, eh?

New here enjoying all the content fantastic editing 👏 for the algorithm
More episodes of this guy for sure
Balgaar needs a villain arc!!!
You could try and get all the treasure map’s completed or you could do “Skyrim life as a treasure hunter”
I did a survival play through recently on an island from a mod very aptly named “The Island”. It was quite fun and I’d recommend it to anyone who’d want to experience a cute little survival island with a simple goal. I played through it with no survival mod due to my mod list not yet being made for them, but it was still quite hard.
I've seen that mod, looks cool
This was the GOAT (Greatest of all Tamriel)
Maybe do a survival/live off land starting on floating ice or island up north and you can only walk and swim, not run/sprint, ie you don't run in snow or lose your footing. Should be challenging enough I think. Moving will slow so you'll need to plan your moves.
I have been wanting a full on survival series to hold me over til I have another pc
well snap that cart rlly got destroyed
missed you so much dude
Another entertaining episode! Keep them coming!
p.s. Loving the LotR references too! 😊
I think a little bit of trading should be acceptable. Most woodsman still traded for specialty items they couldn’t make for themselves, ie anything made of metal like cookware or diet staples like salt or grains.
Professor AND folktale!
I really like this idea!
Try Surviving up north. It's way tougher when you're freezing to death. Also try upping the difficulty. So that every wolf is dangerous and a Troll is deadly
Great video idea.
Thanks!
Welcome to the pack tribe comrade.
I’m looking forward to watching more of the argonian fisherman series.
A couple of things:
1. I may be wrong but I think you might need to equip the hunting knife for it to actually work. Again, I could be wrong
2. You got that Horker meat from the guy who died from that tree. The lucky somethingsomething person with the dibela statue
3. How is it that just you playing the game without much editing is more interesting than basically every other youtuber I watch?
i would love a life as a summoner series. i think the progression would be very satisfying and i know that theres a lot of good summoner mods
Hey Jacoby, maybe make transition this to a caveman mod. You can find a mod where you design a cave in that little glade you found.
would love to see more of this
Love this more more
As a Skyrim veteran with 2k hours this was very refreshing
I can empathize with needing to find a good place to set up camp. Needs to be at least relatively level, well away from a road, outside a settlement (obviously) - although I've set up campsites near settlements and that's all right. I like to trade, though. Might as well profit from the random things I find in the wilds of Skyrim, eh?
I wouldn’t mind this being a series
I would love to see some more episodes, especially since it can be pretty harsh in the northern parts of Skyrim
Troglodyte activity
lmao yeah
please do another episode this was awesome
would be nice to set up a small lean-to or shack eventually :)
either way, loving this playthrough so far!
Yeah liking the shack idea
Instant like before I watch, and not many people get those. Keep it up mate You're exellent 🤝
Legend has it hes still saying “living off the land”
