Thanks for watching folks! Let me know which CLASS you would choose if you were playing this challenge, or which class you want me to try NEXT! (the options are Warrior, Assassin, Archer, Paladin, Illusionist, Sorcerer, Necromancer).
Honestly necromancer would be very interesting. I'd like to see a perhaps an undead army or something, depending on how necromancy works with the mods you have.
32:30 I know what happened here! Its not a bug. The dragon's breath weapon uses mana like any spell would, except dragons are programmed not to use mana, and have 0 regen. You spammed it with lightning bolt, which dropped its mana to zero, so it THINKS it cant use fire breath anymore. It Just Works.
Ahhhh well ok, that makes sense, but the other part I didn't talk about is that sometimes when I started a fight with a dragon, this would happen immediately; they would get aggro'd, fly out to me and land, and then just stare at me. So I think there was also some larger AI bug, but maybe you're right about this for Jultoor.
yeah lmao, still remember when i was fighting a Blood dragon still pretty early in the game and saw a giant run right past me to beat its ass the moment it landed
I loved how immersive this playthrough was and how much you committed to the magic build. Throughout the video, I was thinking to myself how critical the bound bow was because it fires arrows equivalent to that of daedric arrows (and it’s limitless). I’m glad you gave yourself the ability to respawn. I was really sad when you took that tumble in your last video and died. Loved the video, great work!
I like that finale took a giant. No that it lessens your heroic deeds but its nice to see that there are also creatures which protect their life and world around them. Giants also tell stories around the fire to their kids a one of their uncle saved the world with his club in fear for his mammoth. 😂
It's hard to believe that modders can make a more challenging and fun boss fight with alduin than bethesda could with all that time and resources they had lying around.
I appreciate that it's mainstream to hate on devs for any reason possible, but skyrim came out in 2011. Yes, mods make the game loads more fun, but come the fuck on. Save your "all that time and resources" bit for your Starfield complaints.
@dreamerofthorns listen that is fair, and I agree that devs are shit on unnecessarily time after time for decisions they really don't get to make. So maybe I should have been more specific. I know the dev team would have made it much better had they been given the proper time and resources, but it's usually upper management and good ol Todd himself who will scrap ideas, Change directions, and any of number of things that set back the work and creativity of the team actually working on it. Snarky comment aside I think the final battle with the main storyline of skyrim, one of the biggest most renown games, relased in the last few decades, was kind of lack luster in retrospect spect and did a huge disservice to aldiun as a character. He had alot of potential, and personally, I feel it was wasted.
@@Ybeetus i bet you anything that in 5 years, maybe not even that long, the modding community will have absolutely ripped starfield apart and made even _it_ unrecognizable from the base. Your video style is so well-done, it captures attention and remains both entertaining but not exaggerated. I love your use of 'we' - it make us watching your playthrough feel like we're playing it with you! This feels like something I would watch on a bigger channel with hundreds of thousands of subscribers and a couple million views, so to see this on such a small channel is mind-blowing. Keep up the good work man, your videos are fantastic and you defo have a knack for story-telling, video-making and creating something incredible.
Giants are always my bros when it comes to dragon fights. I want a perk tree that lets you pick a limited number of creatures that will no longer turn agro around you, but lets you pick so that your build can stay unique
Your content quality is insanely good. When you showed only 0.6 percent of viewers subscribed, I thought that was nuts given how well your videos are put together. Please keep making more videos!
Great production, immersive storytelling, engaging progression AND the actual mod list used to boot? Man, I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work putting all this together. I'll definitely be adding my grain of sand to your subscribers list, and I hope that you get many more in the days to come because you definitely deserve it! :)
I fricking love this series, I'd love to see more of this kind of video. Also, I think that you are the perfect guy to make those vids, it's so much fun with your talking- and editing style.
i don't usually subscribe to gaming channels but you give a concise, immersive experience without the kind of language that makes the video unpleasant. Thank you for that. When I played Skyrim I always played as a stealth archer with heavy armer and OP swords for backup.
Thank you for making more videos on apocalyptic Skyrim! Excellently narrated, such high quality. I've basically banned myself from watching Skyrim LPs because I want a chance to forget or at least miss some of the NPCs, quests and locations before I play again, but since this makes it into what feels like a completely different place...game even, its the perfect balance for me to watch!

Great video, and a great series to come. An idea could be a Breton or Imperial Paladin, and the side quest would be that you would have to pray to each of the gods separately at each hold’s shrine, but each city is devoted to a different god, for example: Riften - Mara Markath - Dibella Windhelm - Talos Whiterun - Kynerath And then I guess the rest would correspond with the ‘theme’ of the city, like Julianos for Winterhold because he’s a god of magic, and winter hold because of the College of Winterhold. UA-cam just recommended me your series on this overhaul. You did a fantastic job with these! Your editing and especially your storytelling skills are very enthralling! :)

I'm so glad this popped up in my feed. I watched it twice. Excellent storytelling and a thoughtful mod list. Funny that the randomness sort of led you to a Conjuration/Alchemy path. Conjuration provides so much in the way of tank and damage while Alchemy is amazingly utilitarian. I can't wait to try this playthrough. (I'd love to see Khajiit with their 20pts of claw damage in Minimalistic Races Mod as a work around to degradation lol)
I really appreciate that you put your UI and First Person Animation mods in the description, I asked for them on the last video and didn't get a response (because I was days late no fault on your part) so thank you so much
Honestly great video. Had a lot of fun due to your narration. I will subscribe. But the funniest part is how your mage build just devolved into stealth archer. Skyrim classic
I’ve never gotten so invested in watching a Skyrim run before, and you also have a very pleasant voice to listen to. I just found this channel but I think it’s going to become a favorite.
I would welcome a chaptered playthrough to keep me company as I work rather than these shorter vids you've uploaded. Thanks for the content so far! Loved it.
I've been watching Skyrim challenge runs out of boredom, but this video was by far the most enjoyable I've seen. I'd love to see you do a playthrough of this mod with every class!
"Our reward for wiping out half the world's bear population is basically nothing. But at least we got experience." Sounds awfully close to "entry-level" jobs these days. Really liking this series. I wouldn't call this set of mods a total conversion, but it does completely change the way you play Skyrim to the point that it feels like a take on the setting from an alternate timeline where everything is a lot more grim.
Really enjoyed this video - what a hilarious end to the apocolypse :) Personally, I think your use of AI for the commentary really worked. You mixed it up well throughout (and I honestly didn't notice it was AI until I read the comments). Good work!
Alduin: “Who is this big idiot lumbering tow-ow! Hey! Ouch!” Giant: “Git away from my long nose cow ya big dang lizard! Git! Go’on and git ya pointy bastard!” Alduin: “I’m goin-Ow! Stop! Dragonborn.. help! This big hillbilly is crazy! Help me! Agh!”
I gotta say, I really do love this video showcase of Shattered. While I'd personally like a bit more from the mod such as maybe having a few pockets of survivors (including the Blades maybe) like in Fallout, that's a mod issue. The storytelling during the video was great, really makes me want to try out the mod myself one day. Would personally like to see you try out Necromancer next, a bit of "poetic justice" by fighting dragons with their own servants. Its different from this conjuration build as you can customize the gear of undead a bit (even more with certain mods), so armor is useful even if you don't need it. I also saw in another comment that you might be using some of the other addons, so I'd like to see those used in the future as well! Definitely giving a like and subscribe.

i just started playing a mod called Draugnarok, and it causes drauger to attack every city, and it was really fun to try to keep everyone alive, and i think it would be a good way of starting this one, with every settlement being decimated by drauger.
Man, im whatching for the third time this video, i downloaded all the mods you described, minus two that are currently unnavailable. This gameplay is awesome. Doing a archer build hehe nice job dude! Keep up the good work!
I enjoyed this, but was hoping you'd use more of the add-ons for Shattered, like the ones that add a few quests, followers, and new boss fights. I don't think an Illusionist would fare too well, and you already covered a partial archer build here. An Assassin or Warrior might be a different sort of challenge.
I didn't want to add too much stuff all at once, want to show more add-ons in later videos once I have good ideas on how to feature them in interesting ways.
Well that was amazing. Loved the storytelling, and it’s my first time seeing the Shattered mod! Definitely going to be trying that out myself, looks like a ton of fun!
You have a very interesting and captivating way to present this "gameplay" videos. As opposed to like 90% of other content creators who literally just tell you what's happening on screen, as if you don't have eyes. You really need to do some custom quest mods for Skyrim, and play it to it's entirety. I don't have the time / pc power to play them myself, but I'd definitely love to see you play it.
On my new playthrough, at least a year has passed in game, on my last interaction with Alduin at the throat of the world. Been busy planting and selling wheat.
Everything in this video was incredible, i'm looking forward for you guys making it into an actual modpack so everyone can enjoy that banger of a modlist.

I didn’t expect to see a post from u again on this mod (I enjoyed it and need more to sustain my immense Skyrim addiction)
Well that was amazing. Loved the storytelling, and it’s my first time seeing the Shattered mod! Definitely going to be trying that out myself, looks like a ton of fun!
Glad you enjoyed! Yeah Shattered is super cool.
I love this, actually. It's a really nice spin on the game, refreshing for someone who has played Skyrim for over a decade. Subscribed.
Glad you enjoyed, welcome to the channel!
Im loving all these videos you make with this mod. I would love too see more of these. Im definitely subscribing lol
Thanks for your support!
not me waiting for modders to make a starfield '50 arbitrary time units to apocalypse' mod on day 1
You have a very interesting and captivating way to present this "gameplay" videos.
Thanks, likely will be in the future!
Amazing video and great voice over it really makes the video come alive! Looking forward to some more classes taking on this challenge!
On my new playthrough, at least a year has passed in game, on my last interaction with Alduin at the throat of the world. Been busy planting and selling wheat.
LET'S GOOO I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS THANKS FOR DROPPING MORE HEAT BRO
Truer words havent been spoken lmao
These videos are a blast to watch! I'm genuinely surprised your youtube channel hasn't exploded in popularity yet, cuz you make some amazing videos!
Thanks! Last video did blow up, hoping this one does too.
All hail the true Dragonborn. Sir Giant.
Amazing job all around. Love the production and commentary. Super entertaining
Everything in this video was incredible, i'm looking forward for you guys making it into an actual modpack so everyone can enjoy that banger of a modlist.
Thanks :)
Hey dude. You rock. Looking forward to watching you become one of the UA-cam greats.
Those of us reading this, we we're here when he was smalltime. Enjoy it.
That's a very optimistic prediction haha, I don't know if I'll ever be one of the "UA-cam greats," but thanks for the support and glad you enjoyed the video!
I would Love to see this more often with other classes (PALADIN!!!) and a twist, either by you changing your gameplay (by whatever means) or an additional environment/enemy twist (rare draugr which SUMMON other draugr to raise from their graves if you Take too long for example)
just wanted to say this was a really cool video to watch while I grind in OSRS lol
very entertaining, congrats on all the progress you've made over the last few months!
Thanks; glad you enjoyed!
playing this with a necromancy mod would make an interesting story, instead of trying to save the world you are more or less trying to prove you are the best necromancer in the realm.
This would be really fun in multiplayer, I think.
Dude i legit thought this video was from a channel with like millions of subs. Really amazing video man, keep up the incredible work.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed! Maybe some day we'll get there!
@@FormerlyBlue I hope so, you have real talent!
