Within two weeks of doing this my knee lift exponentially improved and I dont feel as winded as I did before. I felt very explosive when doing this today. Hope good results come to follow. Thanks
I had a lot of athletes decrease their 40s .2-.5 tenths before. It's all about the level of training you are starting with and how hard you are willing to work.
Thanks man, this exercise was excellent. I used to run 100 meters in 14.7 seconds, now thanks to you I do that in about 14.0 seconds. cheers from Sweden Mehdi
This exercise will work your calf muscles but I would use it to focus on the calves. There are some much more efficient exercises you can do to build your calves.
I did this type of training for High school football, I felt like it did a lot for me. If you're looking to look cool while exercising, you need to redefine your purpose behind your training. You control you and you can go as far as you want to go! It's all up to you, not what other people think!
Depending on you level of training you can see results within a week or two. I always advise my athletes to train hard with Kbands for 5 weeks. This will give athletes a full training cycle to maximize their results before needing to let their body rest.
Yes. I always suggest making sure the child understands the idea of training. If they are mature enough to stay focused and work through muscle fatigue then they are ready to begin training.
The leg bands are called Kbands. We also have an upper body set of resistance bands called KB Powerbands. KB Powerbands come with 4 levels of resistance bands so that you can resistance or use less with every exercise.
Sweat can make them slip a bit, but that's a good sign. It means your working hard. Try compression shorts. They keep your legs dry and still hold the bands in place rather then placing them over your shorts.
Glad to see my theory was correct, stability and running in place faster has a lot to do with it. Finished watching a video of #ChrisHeria and he ran in place very quickly. I theorized his core was so strong that the stability much like this wall is what allowed him to do so.
Yes. Sprinting in Kbands can help improve strength in your hip flexors leading to faster sprinting. Complete short burst to enhance the dig phase of your sprints. For instance 8-10 set of 15 to 20 yard sprints. 1 minute rests between followed by 2-4 un-resisted sets.
We have been getting great results from athletes like you. They are great for building lateral quickness as well as sprint speed. Average decrease in 40 time .2 to .5 after 5 week training period.
Hello, we suggest two to three times per weeks so you can allow your body some rest days. You also have to keep in mind most athletes are including this drill with other workout routines. Thanks for watching!
We have lots of fighters using the bands to help with range of motion in the hips and kicking power. I would suggest getting the extra blue bands with your order. Most fighters use the extra resistance of those bands.
This can be a great help for athletes of that age. Pay close attention to body position in the video. Some younger athletes have a hard time keeping the angle to the wall. Stay on them and they should do great.
A post stretch is always a must. As for the workouts just be sure to leave a day of rest between workouts, that way your body has rest to be explosive for your next training session.
Not as much as you would think. When your body is pressing against the wall you will find most of the work is in your legs. (hip flexors and glutes) The weight added by the vest isn't utilized as it would be during jumping exercises or other plyometric work.
hello everyone, I am 15 years old and I live in the uk and I normally run 200m in about 25 seconds, this is without any training I have just started training at a local club, I am going to try to get a usa collage/university scholarship, how much time do you think I will be able to take off in 3 years?
Rest periods are about a minute to a minute and a half. There really are no alternative to kbands. Ankle weights, ankle resistance bands and hoop bands place the resistance in different places of the leg. Kbands allow full range of motion without slipping. Best for sport training.
Im a 14 years old boy playing soccer/football on a pretty high level but im not fast enough and i don't have a RESISTANCE item at home :( PLEASE HELP?! :D
Danish Freekickerz kbands are an amazing training tool for speed. They are great for improving hip flexor strength and power. Head to our training website KbandsTraining . com. You can grab a set there. It also comes with a great program called speed 101 that will help you with your training.
This athlete used kbands to work on general speed and lateral quickness. They work great for building hip flexor strength and power in your stride. We never timed a 40 with him. We worked to improve quickness in his starts and side to side explosiveness.
Yes running short burst sprints with kbands is another great way to build your hip flexors leading to more speed. Running hills is also a great method.
Ankle weights will not provide the same type of resistance. Ankle weights provide a swinging sensation when training which can alter form. With kbands you will be able to maintain explosive range of motion developing both hip flexor and glute strength for improved performance.
talking from experience if anyone wants to get maximum strength and increase strength in hips i recommend buying these immediately these are no bull shit fake these are legit the best for athletes if you want to increase you speed, this guy is the man
Yes. Building your hip flexors and core with Kbands during the Wall Drill will help greatly. We all kinds of track reviews on the site for Kbands. Read through them and see for yourself. There are a couple state champs in there you will notice.
Yes this is a great speed drill for any sport. It help build hip flexor strength and explosiveness. With the leg resistance bands Kbands you will feel a huge difference in the effectiveness.
Sure. You can always exercise without resistance bands. You just will not see the same benefits as using them. Kbands help develop hip flexor and glute strength. Without applying resistance it's harder to activate these muscles to the extend that you can with kbands.
We offer a set of blue bands on the website that are more resistance. I would suggest grabbing those. If you become strong enough for the blue bands then you can double up the blue and the green bands, but I would not double up the green and the red bands. The red bands are shorter for smaller users and will max out their stretch before you reach full range of motion. This is not what you want when training.
I always suggest working with kbands for five weeks and complete a post test. That way you can focus on your training and maximize your results rather then training to test for smaller gains every week.
I would not suggest using the lateral resistors above your knee for this drill. I have seen athletes do this before and what you will find is the resistance bands are to long and are sagging between the legs after you get them strapped on. You will want resistance from the minute you strap them on. This allows you to build strength and explosiveness through full range of motion.
Thanks for the feedback. We would love for you to write a review on the site for us. Go to the cart, the same as when you purchased Kbands and you will see a link to write a review. Thanks again.
I have tested ankle weights and have not seen near the benefit when training my athletes. Ankle weights give a swinging sensation with movement. By using Kbands you will have the resistance above the knee which allows you to build knee drive. The resistance help build strength in the hip flexors and glutes while still maintaining natural range of motion.
We have used the bands on athletes as young as eight years old. It helps develop their center of balance and leg strength for increased speed. I would not suggest starting with this drill however. This drills is an advanced level drills which should be completed later on in a child's training.
Gotcha. My advice would be to focus on training gains and let the body fat drops come. Food and rest is essential to increased performance. If you focus too much on losing body fat you may not maximize your gains. So be sure you are testing both speed and explosiveness throughout your drop. If you are still maintaining gains stick to your deficit diet. If you are not make sure you are eating enough. Also make sure you are eating enough protein. It's a must.
I would not suggest ankle weights. Ankle weights provide a swinging link sensation. This is not the same resistance provided by our kbands. These are designed to allow you to move through full range of motion with resistance through stride like movements. In doing this you will gain hip flexor strength and explosiveness. Ankle weights do not provide the same benefits.
With ankle bands you will lose range of motion. Because these bands add resistance bands above the knee it allows you to drive your legs through full range of motion with resistance adding strength, power and speed.
awesome video. instantly went to amazon and purchased, stoked! science says type II fiber recruitment is promoted by doing exactly this. force application on the toes in the hot coal fashion. thinking about this + 2.5lb thigh weights then stripping them when unhooking the bands... really excited for this :D :D
Be sure that you are warming up before you start and also be sure to stretch when you are finished. It is normal to be sore. This is a very high intensity exercise.
Kbands allow you to train with resistance through full range of motion. I do not know of any other set of resistance bands that allow that. I use these with my athletes and get great gains in speed and acceleration.
It is a great drill used to develop speed. You do not have to wear Kbands I have found them to be a great addition to developing speed though. When working with the resistance you will develop strength in your hip flexors and glutes. These muscles are essential during the dig phase of sprinting form. I would strongly suggest using them during this drill.
Yes we ship to Australia. And the Kbands are sold in 2 sets. One set is made for users that weigh over 110 pounds and another set is made for users that weight under 110 pounds. Just checkout on KbandsTraining . com and choose the correct product option.
Depending on you level of athleticism results will very. If you are young with little training you will see results in as little as a week of hard proper training. As for more advanced athletes who are near their peak performance hard training will give smaller gains. I train my competitive athletes for 5 weeks before getting to a transition week. Just make sure you follow the drill in its entirety and be as explosive as possible each and every rep.
Yes you can kinetic bands and kbands are the same company. As for the intensity you can go to KbandsTraining . com and grab the blue extra Kbands. Those bands offer much more resistance and are for advanced athletes.

This exercise will work your calf muscles but I would use it to focus on the calves. There are some much more efficient exercises you can do to build your calves.
You have the right idea. Train hard no matter what you are doing.
Yes he works really hard on his speed.
First comment I've seen from a gym kit page who hasn't gone, "Well, you could be making bigger gains with K Bands etc."
Nice one.
That's great feedback. I am happy you have been seeing great results. Let me know if you have any questions or help with your training.
Thanks again.
Absolutely. Gaining strength in your legs and becoming a more powerful sprinter can help in every sport.
He works really hard. Great athlete!
I did this type of training for High school football, I felt like it did a lot for me. If you're looking to look cool while exercising, you need to redefine your purpose behind your training. You control you and you can go as far as you want to go! It's all up to you, not what other people think!

Yes. We have shipped to over 83 countries now and ship to the UK daily. Feel free to place your order and we can have it shipped today.
what if you dont have bands and you cant buy some? do it for 30 sec sets?
Yes. I always suggest making sure the child understands the idea of training. If they are mature enough to stay focused and work through muscle fatigue then they are ready to begin training.

That's one reason to get faster!

I'm about to be in track so it will help
Hello, yes this drill is great for track athletes! Thanks for watching.
Sweat can make them slip a bit, but that's a good sign. It means your working hard. Try compression shorts. They keep your legs dry and still hold the bands in place rather then placing them over your shorts.

We have been getting great results from athletes like you. They are great for building lateral quickness as well as sprint speed. Average decrease in 40 time .2 to .5 after 5 week training period.
kbandstraining I find this hard to believe does it decrease that fast for the first 5 weeks for everyone
how many times a week do you have train with them to get those results? how many days a week do you have to train?
Why should we practise for 2 /3 times per week
Does daily practise has some disadvantages
Hello, we suggest two to three times per weeks so you can allow your body some rest days. You also have to keep in mind most athletes are including this drill with other workout routines. Thanks for watching!

Will this speed translate to the bball court? Thanks in advanced
yes you can do it on the basketball court as well
Would bungie cords work aswell instead of the bands?
DeniProGaming good joke
This can be a great help for athletes of that age. Pay close attention to body position in the video. Some younger athletes have a hard time keeping the angle to the wall. Stay on them and they should do great.

Dude sweet i just got my KBANDS today 12-24-12 an i love it i will tell my friends about this thanks a lot BRO
what is the rest period in between the sets?
13 years
A post stretch is always a must. As for the workouts just be sure to leave a day of rest between workouts, that way your body has rest to be explosive for your next training session.
Who keeps getting the trading 212 advert?
jameslee gandy me😂so annoying
I feel your pain
Not as much as you would think. When your body is pressing against the wall you will find most of the work is in your legs. (hip flexors and glutes) The weight added by the vest isn't utilized as it would be during jumping exercises or other plyometric work.

Do I have to use this particular band or can i use something else?

+Ash suuuurrreee *Sarcastic voice*
Burrrrrrnnnnnnn
Yes running short burst sprints with kbands is another great way to build your hip flexors leading to more speed. Running hills is also a great method.
Absolutely. As a linemen you need power in your lower half. Becoming more explosive will help you get off the ball.
Ankle weights will not provide the same type of resistance. Ankle weights provide a swinging sensation when training which can alter form. With kbands you will be able to maintain explosive range of motion developing both hip flexor and glute strength for improved performance.
Thanks a lot for the recommendations. Please right us a review on the website. We love hearing from you guys.

Thank you for the support!!!!!
no problem, you deserve to be known all over the world for your amazing products
You can use weighed sleds if your school has those or partner pulls. Kbands are by far the easiest way to target running muscles though.
Yes. Building your hip flexors and core with Kbands during the Wall Drill will help greatly. We all kinds of track reviews on the site for Kbands. Read through them and see for yourself. There are a couple state champs in there you will notice.
That's great Chris. Be sure to download Speed 101 as well to utilize for your training.
Yes this is a great speed drill for any sport. It help build hip flexor strength and explosiveness. With the leg resistance bands Kbands you will feel a huge difference in the effectiveness.
You can cut the straps to fit any size leg and there are multiple levels of resistance for users of all sizes.
Sure. You can always exercise without resistance bands. You just will not see the same benefits as using them. Kbands help develop hip flexor and glute strength. Without applying resistance it's harder to activate these muscles to the extend that you can with kbands.
Very nice. Hard work is what it is all about.

The red bands are shorter for smaller users and will max out their stretch before you reach full range of motion. This is not what you want when training.
Yes. This is a great speed drill for any sport. It helps develop hip flexor strength and explosiveness.
Yes. We offer different length resistance bands for under and over 110 pounds.
omg that guy is doing them drills really quick...especially the drill with out the resistance
+Kenan Whyle thanks for watching
I always suggest working with kbands for five weeks and complete a post test. That way you can focus on your training and maximize your results rather then training to test for smaller gains every week.

This drill has helped many sprinter develop the dig portion of a run. Kbands will develop you hip flexors allowing you to build faster starts.

I would suggest cutting the reps in half until he seems to be a little stronger. This will help him build up to the full sets.
I would not suggest ankle weights. Ankle weights provide a swinging link sensation. This is not the same resistance provided by our kbands. Yes no problem. Hop on the website and talk to the live chat, call or email us using the contact us tab and we will take care of you.
Yes. I am looking on your web site and I can't decide which one would fit my legs better.
Be sure that you are warming up before you start and also be sure to stretch when you are finished. It is normal to be sore. This is a very high intensity exercise.
Yes, he works very hard. Thanks for watching.
Kbands allow you to train with resistance through full range of motion. I do not know of any other set of resistance bands that allow that. I use these with my athletes and get great gains in speed and acceleration.
Anything is possible. Train hard my friend.
You may have to take some time off the sets so that you can complete each set at 100% intensity but it is a good drill for all ages.
It is a great drill used to develop speed. You do not have to wear Kbands I have found them to be a great addition to developing speed though. Each drill completed with green bands can be done in the exact same way with the blue bands. Same form just more resistance.
I was just looking for tips to improve speed and finish in love with the tall guy. 😍😍
That's why girls aren't taken seriously in sports. Come to train.
+DOLPsc lol you're right 😂
