It was an enjoyable experience. I felt like you at the end. I was dying to get it taken down. She trimmed a fair amount before so I didn’t feel much growth but the pictures proved otherwise. I plan to do it again this Fall hoping to see better results for the Spring. I don’t regret it. I do have to travel a ways to my stylist but it’s worth it. I’m grateful you shared your journey. It really helped me start mine. 💕

I totally agree that you should have paid what the cost was when you booked!!

Thank you, I know I wasn't tripping! Lol! Luckily, my overall experience was great. But honestly, that's the one thing I did not appreciate.

That price increase … 🧐 Now how they going to increase the price , after you booked based on one price?

Thanks for keeping it real. I want my hair to grow but I don’t think I want to make a mortgage payment for it 🤣 But I agree with you It does depend on your budget and the other factors you mentioned. If someone knows a stylist that provides these results for less Let me know honey. 🤣

Thank you so much for this. I think your final take is honest and fitting. I have an appointment for this 6 month sew-in and I'm so grateful you did this review.

I’m gonna be really busy next year and would love something like this. I wish I knew the braiding pattern and the retouch technique but I get why the owner is holding that to her chest. Business is business baby. 😂❤❤❤

I plan to get another one next year to reach my hair goals. I wasn't allowed to record the entire retouch process, and I 💯 percent understand why. Because a sistah like me would attempt to duplicate it at home for FREE! 🤣

i feel like one can do the same thing with a regular sew in install and take it out maybe every 2-3 months to give yourself a nice deep condition or protein treatment.. The biggest thing is length retention so making sure you are properly moisturizing, strengthening, and protecting your hair. I just don't think one has to leave there hair in a sew in for 6 months to do that. So I don't think the price is worth it.

I would still do this. Its definitely an investment especially living out of state and you do have to be good at maintaing your hair on your own and have a realistic goal in mind. This method isnt about switching up your hair style every 2 weeks becasue thats more manipulation which can lead to more breakage its about protecting your hair underneath and retaining that length

I agree. It's an investment for sure! But I love the fact that I actually got what I paid for, so I'm satisfied overall. Those results were from just one sew-in, and I was shocked! I plan to get another one next year. Thanks for watching Jada. 😉

These prices are crazy thank god I learn to do my sew every eight weeks from the billions of videos on UA-cam with no attitudes and fuckery ty, im not paying for no stylist house or car some of them don’t even have a license SMMFH.

You know it looks great specially on you auntie but for a $600-$700 I rather pay you to do a few different hairstyles that year and my hair will still grow nicely but that is just me

You had great results after one sew-in! Did you take the AK vitamins or use or of the other products? I am in my first see-in and completed my tightening appointment last week. I am looking forward to the final results. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Hey Nikki, thanks for watching! I bought the AK vitamins, but I stopped taking them long before my sew-in installation. And i didn't take them consistently. I still have some. I'm excited for you! Let me know what your final results are after your sew-in take down. I plan to get another one next year. 🥰

Compared to the price of other hair styles it depend on how much that style costs, price of the materials and labor, and how long that style lasts you, as well as the results, did it actually grow your hair? You could be paying more and getting less. For me, this is a good investment because i already know how to take care of my natural hair but i do want to take a break from twists and wearing it out and ive worn weaves but i always felt like the stylist never care about my actual hair so i like that fact this stylist does. Plus in 6 months i can achieve my goal of bra strap length hair. So its like a one time thing for me
