    It was an enjoyable experience. I felt like you at the end. I was dying to get it taken down. She trimmed a fair amount before so I didn’t feel much growth but the pictures proved otherwise. I plan to do it again this Fall hoping to see better results for the Spring. I don’t regret it. I do have to travel a ways to my stylist but it’s worth it. I’m grateful you shared your journey. It really helped me start mine. 💕

    i feel like one can do the same thing with a regular sew in install and take it out maybe every 2-3 months to give yourself a nice deep condition or protein treatment.. The biggest thing is length retention so making sure you are properly moisturizing, strengthening, and protecting your hair. I just don't think one has to leave there hair in a sew in for 6 months to do that. So I don't think the price is worth it.

      @OOO-su8fm No, I didn't spray it with anything throughout the week. I deep conditioned my leave out whenever I did a wash day. If I felt like being extra, I would use a leave-in conditioner like "It's a 10" or my favorite leave-in from Silk Elements.

      think the program is nice; I love the convenience and low maintenance. For the price I paid…i expected really professional work but it was giving “new stylist.” The raw Indian closure and hair were bought from them but the closure keeps matting up and doesn’t match the rest of the hair and she completely ignored it then tried to charge me to fix it after i pointed it out. I dont want to talk bad about anyone because your experience may not be my experience.

  • @jadapowell1618
    @jadapowell1618 10 місяців тому

    Compared to the price of other hair styles it depend on how much that style costs, price of the materials and labor, and how long that style lasts you, as well as the results, did it actually grow your hair? You could be paying more and getting less. For me, this is a good investment because i already know how to take care of my natural hair but i do want to take a break from twists and wearing it out and ive worn weaves but i always felt like the stylist never care about my actual hair so i like that fact this stylist does. Plus in 6 months i can achieve my goal of bra strap length hair. So its like a one time thing for me

  • @jadapowell1618
    @jadapowell1618 10 місяців тому

    I would still do this. Its definitely an investment especially living out of state and you do have to be good at maintaing your hair on your own and have a realistic goal in mind. This method isnt about switching up your hair style every 2 weeks becasue thats more manipulation which can lead to more breakage its about protecting your hair underneath and retaining that length

    • @Shay_Freely
      @Shay_Freely 10 місяців тому

      I agree. It's an investment for sure! But I love the fact that I actually got what I paid for, so I'm satisfied overall. Those results were from just one sew-in, and I was shocked! I plan to get another one next year. Thanks for watching Jada. 😉

    How do you moisture and condition your hair?

    • @Shay_Freely
      @Shay_Freely 11 місяців тому

      Great question! I just make certain to deep condition my leave out and edges every other week or so. They prefer you don't wash your braids that's under your sew-in too often because you'll wash the natural oils from your scalp. The creator of this sew-in technique says the natural oils from your scalp is part of the reason why this hair growth technique works so well.
