Hi Jamie. Will enjoy and look forward to whatever you build and/or show us fellow modellers! Totally understand where you're coming from and I would hate for you to lose your mojo in doing your channel, as I personally (and from the comments on your vids, most people here!) am very thankful that you share your modelling skills and builds on YT. I like the multi stage build video's too, but as you say, a 30/40 minute full build is just as rewarding. One thing I will say Jamie though, if you don't video a build, please please please do a de-brief afterwards!🙏 Oh yeah, and a weekly chat! Sorry! I'm getting a bit of a diva! 😂😂 Seriously mate, do what you want to, I love to watch and listen to whatever you put on here! Most importantly, enjoy what you do, cos that's the point! Thanks again Jamie for all the fantastic content. Take care 👊 Bobby
Hi Jamie. Just got to say after being out of action for nearly 4 years and having surgery at the end of 2023 I needed something to take my mind off things and a hobby that didn’t require me to leave the house. So let say my stash grew rapidly. Bored with normal TV I found myself hooked on UA-cam and took a while to narrow people down to a handful. Some I’ve not stayed up today with while others I pick and chose depending on their build. Yours on the other hand I’ve watched the lot and plan to carry on this year also, and if I were told I can only watch one model builder from now on then I can honestly say sorry to everyone else but I’m sticking with the cafe. I look forward to a new years worth of viewing. All the best
All the best for the NewYear those that watch know your difficult life schedule and we appreciate the effort you put in to keep us informed and entertained modelling is such a diverse hobby so you can't build what everyone likes it's your hobby and your Chanel so hopefully we can all comment and keep you motivated to push through best of luck
Here's to another year of absorbing videos from you Jamie. I'm always learning (from your articles and books too) and the secret to improvement isn't really a secret is it - build stuff and give yourself a chance to make mistakes.
Everyone I know just wants you to do a follow up to your Bronco Futuristic scratch build. We all loved that kit. Please really consider this at some stage of this year.
Hi Jamie, Thanks for an amazing 2024 and Really looking forward to following your builds in 2025. In particular, I'm looking forward to the LF spits and Norseman, and the Tempest will be amazing. I will press the button on the LF 1/24 spit as soon as it becomes available, Love anything that Mathieu produces. many thanks for a Superb experience in 2024 and looking forward to more of the same this year. Cheers, Andrew :)
Sounds like you've got big plans for this, Jamie! The 356th Fighter Group did indeed have a striking color scheme. I became more interested in the 356th after visiting the museum at Martlesham Heath in the company of aces Clinton Burdick and Donald Straight. Good luck keeping your resolution this year, Jamie, what with Eduard alone promising us their upcoming 1/48th P-40/Kittyhawk series and a 1/32nd P-51B among others. ICM, Arma, and several others are bound to surprise us. Having bought several of their sets last year, I'm looking forward to seeing what LFD has in store for us this year. Highback, razorback, whatever... I once got my hat handed to me on a popular global forum for posting some color images of Seafires on a carrier deck with the title "For all you Spitfire lovers". I figured that although the Seafire is a naval subvariant that the images would be of interest to Spitfire lovers in general. I got virtually torched by about a dozen Brits and even got accused of trying to rename one of her majesty's most famous naval aircraft. My initial thought was "Get a life, you guys", but I apologized profusely for my apparently egregious contextual error and shouted "God save the queen!"
Hi Jamie, wow you’re gonna be a busy boy, congratulations on the views that’s fantastic and good luck with the book. Look forward to your 2025 builds, cheers take care, Liam
As there is some level of repetition with at least some models, I think you're wise doing some 'for yourself' and 'off-camera' Jamie. A catch-up after completion might be appreciated if there's anything worthy of note, and just so we nosey parkers are up-to-speed on what's been happing behind the curtains... All sounds good to me!
You've got to do whatever works best for you Jamie. It's lovely to have lots of views etc, but as you say, it's your hobby and you have to keep it enjoyable for you. I just like sitting with a cuppa and watching whatever you put out even though I don't make aircraft. I shall still look forward to anything you do mate.
Looking forward to your builds in 2025. I want to try your technique of using super glue for the fuselage half’s. Have you covered this in detail in one of your builds?
Hello Jamie, where do you buy your Mr. Epoxy Putty Epoxy Super Lightweight (78g) Modeling from? I have seen it on eBay for £ 25 , where do you buy it from? Really enjoy your channel.

It's in most of the recent ones mate, I'll do a tutorial on it soon.
It would be great to see you build the Airfix 1/24 Scout/ Wasp
Oi, not before a Tucano, don't give them any ideas like that!
@thescalemodellingcafe Ok. Wasp then Scout then

I got it from eBay too, it's expensive but 1 pack will last a lifetime! Thanks Paul.
