Being complacent in anxiety recovery means being passive or indifferent toward addressing your anxiety. It's like sitting back and accepting the status quo without taking any proactive steps to manage or overcome your anxiety. Complacency might involve avoiding therapy or self-help strategies, ignoring symptoms, or simply resigning yourself to living with anxiety without attempting to improve your situation.
On the other hand, being active in anxiety recovery involves actively and mindfully engaging in strategies and behaviors aimed at managing and reducing anxiety. This can include seeking therapy, practicing relaxation techniques, challenging negative thought patterns, making lifestyle changes, and actively confronting fears through exposure therapy, among other approaches. Being active in anxiety recovery means taking ownership of your mental health and working towards positive change.
In essence, the difference lies in the level of engagement and effort put forth to address anxiety. Being complacent maintains the status quo or even exacerbates anxiety, while being active involves taking proactive steps to improve mental well-being.

@@Anupriya15209 no I still feel them but I’m sure it’s just a part of anxiety at first I did question it but realized it’s just part of the anxiety moving to body to body like he says but I’m still struggling with accepting it Ik that’s the biggest part of it cuz I already have all the knowledge why I feel so much but sometimes it’s just scary cuz I think it’s getting worse

A few months ago I commented in one of your videos telling my story. I was pregnant and was having very bad anxiety symptoms because I had to cut off all the medications I was taking. It took me almost the whole pregnancy to finally overcome it all. Then at the end, I was feeling so strong and confident I thought I would never have any anxiety again. But after I had my baby nearly a month ago, anxiety has been kicking. A newborn is a lot of work, I’m exhausted from getting almost no sleep and I feel scared again. But it’s not as bad as it used to be. I don’t get that desperate like before. I’m here again listening to your advices to get over it again and actually enjoy my son. Now it’s not only for me, it’s for him as well. I’ll get over it no matter how bad it affects me, how much it hurts and scares me. I’m beaten up, but I won’t give up. Wish me strenght, friends.

Oooohyess!!! My muscles became so tight.
One day my hand became very weak. My right arm wasn’t functioning right. For weeks I worried it must be a disease as I’ve gone through so much stress.
Finally I could take the pain no more. My anxiety was high. My osteopath told me a couple vertebrae were in distress due to tense muscles and what I do for a living.
So yes, my mind made this way more complicated. And yes, now I know I have to give my body as much time as it needs to heal from all the tension and inflammation.

I've been struggling the last month and a half bc of my brother's illness and him seeking me for reassurance. I've been having dizziness vision changes and no relief but trying to hang in there.

Anxiety/Panic has been an evil presence since my first panic attack at 19 years old I’m 36 now and the amount of times I thought about ending my pain for good throughout those years is insurmountable….
I question everything, innately I am a curious seeker, an empathetic soul with a competitive nature creating a vortex of fear, sweaty hands, and the feeling of confusion, I have many tools gathered over the years but I still know that NOTHING will stop me from grabbing a pill, bottle, or smoke because I have struggled too long with this shit I just don’t give a fuck - yes I do when I’m kicking but I’m used to kicking abusing drugs since 19 due to this unforeseen circumstance that is GAD - my brain wants me dead - PERIOD
You’re than that bro !! I turned to heavy drinking to stay numb from anxiety but the fact that you’re watching video shows you’re still in the fight! Quit the poison replace it with working out and you’ll be shocked once you get past the first month how while you start to feel . You got this shit man
@@brandonsimon2804 my issue is pills unfortunately - I am a veteran doctor shopper - I learned at an early age I mean 12 when I saw my first psychologist and psychiatrist - I know exactly what they want to here and my pain is real, I immediately engaged in psychological warfare at 12 the therapist called me a future drug addict, a dangerous addict with a talent at reading people, using manipulation, and easily convincing people that I am just an adhd riddled child and handed me adderall which I hated at that age but even at age 12 I saved 4 pills, pocketed them for 4 days and took all 4 at age 12 curious of the intensity, or if one does this what will 4 do? Fucking insane to think about now with two rehabs and 3 overdoses later I’m 36 by some miracle and still living in a world that seems so different to everyone around me and a daily reprieve is necessary for my own sanity

I'm feeling confused because you suggest that positive affirmations or positive thinking is getting too much in your head, yet you have a bunch of positive affirmation videos (that I have found to be very helpful).
It is the clinging to them for the sake of reaching a specific goal that’s the problem, not the practice itself. Enjoy.
Im afraid people wont give me what i need to reach my goals, and will block me from achieving them. so i don't ask. And i don't achieve. Ive blocked myself first so that they dont have to.
Example:
Im scared to reach out to the PA game commission to apply for a wildlife propagation permit... although i meet every qualification and its literally their job to grant permits. Theres no reason ill be rejected. But if i am, ill be in the same situation im in now...

I been struggling for almost 2years now. Health anxiety, anxiety disorders, hypochondriac, My symptoms are all over the place. I have work hard to control them more analyzing why I anxiety symptoms.

Just say okay and move on and remember the evidence and act like I don’t care and move and let it come I am having intrusive thoughts of my favorite artist is a secret horrible person I think I’m healing is my strategy good
