    Key Video Notes:
    - Poor diet - Emerging evidence supports the idea that a poor diet is linked to an increased risk of experiencing an anxiety disorder.
    - No exercise - For me, exercise alleviated my symptoms enough to allow for space to do the inner work.
    - People pleasing - Excess energy loss.
    - Fuelling drama - Adding to an already dramatic situation increases instinctual living.
    - Gossiping - Underlyingly is connected to a desire to connect with others.
    - Complaining - Is a habit brought on by pessimistic perceptions.
    - Ungratefulness - Leads to staying in a misery filled comfort zone.
    - Negative self talk and inner dialogue - The most important relationship is the one between yourself and your inner child.
    - Toxic friends - Energy looks to take on like energy.
    - Excess stimulation - Keeps us stuck distracting ourselves from our fears.

My palpitations were directly related to my lack of magnesium. They’ve almost completely disappeared since since quitting Omeprezole (“Prilosec”, also depletes your magnesium), and I started taking 300mg magnesium glycinate lysinate daily. After a conflict or other stressor I take an extra 100mg. And the final key is following Dennis’ advice and not giving the symptoms your emotional attention. You have to get to a point of boredom and disinterest in them. It really works!
I’ve sent a dozen people to this channel, you are a godsend.

Biggest issue is committing to sticking with something and not giving up. I usually try for a day or maybe two or three, but then I give up and look for a new quick way to find relief and so I continue to stay comfortable in my misery.

I feel you man, I do the exact same thing. I think its just our "inner child" pulling us away because its stepping out of its comfort zone, it fears risking going into unknown territory can possibly harm us or stop us from failure so it pulls us back to old patterns that have kept us "safe" all this time. All I can think of is keep practising to show our inner child that it is a safe zone and eventually it will rewire and program.. just my thoughts, I'm still on my journey

I have 2 very very important questions. 1-I tend to try and rush through everything. I don't want to work, hurry up work day be done! But nothing to do after work. Why am I rushing. After work boredom, hurry up and get to bedtime! But sleep no good. How do I stop rushing?
2- How do I let other people know I deal with severe anxiety without making them think I'm crazy and also without sending myself a bad message either. Labeling. For ex: neighborhood has picnic. I can't go, too much anxiety. People ask why.

The reason so many ppl go to fast food places over organic healthy options is money! I guarantee it's a lot of the problem. I mean a burger is usually on the dollar menu, but I never see salads or fruit on any value menu. Ppl usually don't think about saving money in the long run eating healthier. They should but that's usually not the case.
This is great advice! You're spot on about diet playing a huge role in mental health!

I believe the inner child may continue to try to keep us locked up due to our nervous system’s conditioning over time (living in sympathetic mode constantly) and not attempting to process and heal our past trauma. There are probably many pieces to this puzzle though. I’d like to hear your thoughts Dennis. Thanks for all that you do. I appreciate you and your work.🙏

It turns out 60 procent of USA population doesn't take enough of it tru food and people with anxiety have very litle of it bexause of anxiety.. its a loop . And im gonna need YOU to stop telling me what YOU need me to do.... first off that's alot of pressure you're laying on us. Isn't advice better received when it's delivered gently and presented as optional? If you preface every insight with a stipulation you are essentially removing our options to accept it or reject it. Right?
And I highly doubt our affability in the matter is really a genuine NEED of yours, I'm sure you'd LIKE us to agree and commit to changing our perspective but how much is it really going to disrupt your life if we do or don't....really.
And lastly, didn't you JUST get done telling us to stop people pleasing?!! I mean you JUST said it!
I mean it is good advice. I do think your heart is in the right place but it was a bit abrasive, especially for someone giving unsolicited advice. Maybe try re-phrasing it in a way that doesn't make it about you and what you need but as what it really is, just some helpful information that anyone is welcome to.
Thank you for sharing your good suggestions tho, very comprehensive and eloquently written.
