I had noticed, back in April 2019. I began circling doctors. The lockdowns happened, it got bad fast. I began not tolerating solids. 2 yrs ago they saw me 4x and told me to eat smaller/more often (repeatedly). I did start to argue there was something wrong. Finally a year of endoscopies (7). I got a 2nd opinion (same diagnosis: IDK??? Original doctor request I return. I did and at our 2nd ever appointment she scheduled surgery. They removed almost my entire stomach, 2FT of intestines and a chunk of my liver. I also had a knicked artery requiring a blood transfusion (and lots of hematology support). There is a blood shortage (hemoglobin on discharge was 7). I stayed with my parents. They prayed and my Mom even slept with me the first night. It was ulcers🤯We knew I had a bunch but I had "Corkscrewing" my GOO was melted and beginning to decay. I'm 3 months post op. I'm finally able to slowly eat again. I am tall and a bigger boned person ( 5"8 128lbs). All my docs say 150-160 healthiest. I shared all that because truthfully I feel butchered. Had the ulcers been treated in 2019 would this have happened? I had Gastric bypass reun y (spelling?) on Sept 11 2008. This all happened at age 34 right after my child was born. Was this horrific nightmare necessary if treated sooner??? TIA

Were you given medical treatment (ppi, antibiotics) before reue-en-y surgery? Didn't it work? I hope you are doing well now.
