- Hey everyone, welcome to Mythology Explained. In today’s video, we’re going to discuss the Powers, God’s warrior angels who work to maintain order in the universe and, when needed, who are sent forth as the tip of the spear to combat evil, defending God’s flock and destroying demons.
Alright, let’s get into it
Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite is a pseudonymous author whose works had a profound influence on Christian mysticism and theology from the Middle Ages all the way through to today. While the angelic hierarchy isn’t delineated in the bible, instead expounded in various forms by various theologians in extra-biblical works, these predicated on and extrapolated from scripture, it’s fair to say that the angelic hierarchy put forward by Pseudo-Dionysius was widely embraced by Christianity and is probably the most influential version developed and disseminated to date. The true identity of Pseudo-Dionysius is unknown, but his works are thought to have been written around the late 5th to early 6th century. His pseudonym suggests he was trying to be identified with Dionysius the Areopagite, a convert of Saint Paul mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles, but scholarly consensus holds that he was not the historical Dionysius, hence the ‘Pseudo’ that precedes the name of this unknown author.
"The Celestial Hierarchy," Pseudo-Dionysius’s most seminal work, is a treatise that discusses the angelic hierarchy. In it, the angelic hierarchy is described as being made up of three angelic orders, and these three angelic orders, in turn, each comprise three angelic choirs; so, per his conceptualization, there are three groups of three, making for a total of nine angelic choirs.

Especially tracking rise of religious beliefs and the impact(s) on society advancing and the pause in technology. They typically go hand in hand. . . I didn’t realize that Archangel Michael had such a low ranking in the hierarchy. He holds a very significant role in the Lord’s vengeance on Lucifer. Casting him and his fallen angels out of heaven and doing battle with him
Archangels are low in relation to God because of their closeness to humanity. You have to think of them like doctor's and other professionals. Who are just normal people and shit sitting down and farts stink like the talking apes we are. But in relation to health everyone obeys them. You have to understand Mikaels presence is the mark that the War in Heaven is over humanity entirely

One night in my apartment about a year ago, I was frustrated and thinking about meaning of life kind of things. I asked whomever might be listening, "why is everything so secret and cryptic; why can't we just be told in a more direct manner the answers to all these important questions we have like, who am I?". Well, I got my answer. A being/person appeared beside me, on one knee next to the couch to be eye level with me. He was wearing a really shiny, really golden breast plate with a red/burgundy tunic underneath that ended above the knee like men would wear in ancient times. His hair was kind of short but hanging down the sides of his face a little and really really blonde (almost white). He was very pale and very "glowy". His eyes looked like there was a star in each of them, literally a big twinkling star in each of them,shining outwards; it's all you could see. The area around him was darker than my apartment lighting and a little warpy, which is what caught my attention in the corner of my eye when it started. It was like another reality was opened up in this one. Little flecks of orange light flowing in one direction like a calm river of embers from a fire. He looked at me with this almost pleased half smile kind of a look, and in a tone of voice one uses to answer a question just said, "David, you are a son of God". I wasn't scared; it actually felt very peaceful and there was just so much regal holiness emanating from him, but I was just so stunned, all I could do was stare at him. I was looking at his eyes just shining away and I was wondering to myself what his eyes looked like behind that, if there even was anything. Well, he obviously "heard" me wondering that because he turned his head to the right somewhat so he wasn't looking directly at me, so I could see his eyes better, and I saw them move around a little and I'm pretty sure they were blue. The whole thing lasted about 15 seconds and I guess it was time for him to go. The flecks of light flowing in from behind him suddenly rapidly sped up and multiplied until it was a raging torrent. It became like a wall of light and there was a flash and he was gone. I just sat there motionless in stunned silence for several minutes trying to take it all in. Pretty sure it was an angel😳😱😲.

Bible says that angels are ministering spirits that are given to those that will inherit salvation. That means not everybody has an guardian angel. But I believe they get involved nevertheless when they see peril or evil.
