Neither is Heaven.
In the Diablo Universe Heaven and Hell are pretty much in a forever war. Hell wants to cause chaos and disorder
Heaven wants to wipe out anything that goes against order.
Sanctuary was a joint creation of angels and demons that grew tired of the conflict and wanted to create something free of the fighting, where angels, and demons could co-exist. Humans was created as a result as they are the children of Lillith.
Heaven saw Sanctuary as a abomination, and the Nephilium a combination of human with Angel or Demon ancestry were considered dangerous enough that Heaven since the discovery of sanctuary has sought its destruction.
Thats the sad truth of Diablo. If heaven wins. Sanctuary will be destroyed and humanity wiped out. After all. they are abominations.

This is amazing. I am lost for words, I just can't see this only being a video game, it has all the potential of a box office smash. The graphics, the cinematic , everything is remarkable. I've never played this game but if that's the only way to view the story line then I'm headed to game stop right now. I don't know what else to say. I'm just blown away.

Diablo isn’t like the Bible. Heaven and Hell are different realms at war with no God or Devil but more of a council in each one while earth was created when there was a union between an angel and demon.

He had a lot happen to him over time, he's one of the few angels that we're given to burning hells for torture for his actions, which he then escaped eventually, it's actually surprising his mind wasn't shattered from the tortures of the prime evils..
He was tortured by demon so he was kinda already gone up there hence he killed his son without remorse
It was probably due to the fact the arch angel was like the strongest guy there
Why do so many people get confused this has NOTHING to do with Christianity diablo is a fictional story of it's own, the angel is not a Christian archangel, neither heaven nor hell are good in diablo, the demon lady is the mother of humans and he's the father, she was the good one in this situation.
You also forget that Lucifer was an archangel before he fell.

Dude, i gotta give props to the human soldiers in this. Even without Inarius, they were legit holding their own against the seemingly endless, monstrous hordes of hell, and gaining ground against them no less. Those brave fanatics are the real MVPs of this video

Oh, a lot of it has nothing to do with the story or plot (though most say it was only decent)
It’s all the other crap Blizzard put in. Crazy greedy monetization schemes. Confusing and overly complicated progression and leveling systems. Extremely boring and repetitive gameplay. Worthless weapons spawning constantly. Terrible UI design. Abysmal community service and support.
This game was terrible in spite of its story and campaign.
It got boring to play after about 4 days?.... why would anyone keep playing?

As entertaining as this clip is, I wouldn’t say this was biblical in any respect. There was indeed war in heaven and a fall from what Isaiah 14:12, Ezekiel 28:16 and Revelation 12:7-9 tell us, but nothing more.
