- Hey everyone, welcome to Mythology Explained. In today’s video, we’re going to discuss the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the four of them sent forth by God to unleash conquest, war, famine, and death upon the world.
Alright, let’s get into it.
The Four Horsemen make their appearance in the Book of Revelation, the final book of the New Testament, a book that gives an account of the cataclysmic events that will transpire during the Apocalypse, a word derived from the Greek word apokalypsis, meaning to ‘reveal’ or uncover’. Scholars generally agree that the Book of Revelation was written towards the end of the first century AD, a time fraught with persecution for Christians under the hegemony of the Roman Empire. At this time, John, a Christian and thus a victim of said persecution, was living in exile in the Aegean Sea on the island of Patmos, and here, on this island, is where God reached out and imparted to him the revelation of the events that were to come.
To John, God revealed the future, all the death and destruction prophesied to afflict the world leading up to the final judgement, which will more or less be a divine sifting event in which the wheat will be winnowed from the chaff, basically an event where all the people of the world and all the spirits of the dead will be judged, the good forever living in God’s light and the bad consigned to the lake of fire.
John was commanded to write down what he’s shown and then to send what he’s written to seven churches located in Asia Minor, a land we know today as Turkey. Jesus imparted a bespoke message for each church, which, without going into specifics, can be summed up as messages that caution against falling into moral pitfalls and encourage the mustering of fortitude and resilience to endure the adverse circumstances pervading that time. Afterwards, John continues by recounting what he bears witness to in the vision revealed to him by God.

The 4 horse men have made their presence known in modern times.
As someone who is not religious nor has read anything from the Bible you do a very good job informing and making it interesting without any bias! I am always intrigued by your uploads! Will continue to watch and become informed! I have never read or cared to read the Bible or excerpts from it but you low key make me want to out of curiosity.
I felt the need to reply to the "save you" comment because I feel like that phrase scares people off. You don't need to be 'saved' exactly. Here it is: You are a baby-god. You are currently in a womb that teaches you things. Upon your death/birth, you will be reintroduced into the main stream of all energy. If you hold onto negative energy, you will go there with the other negativity. If you let go of ALL negative energy, you will become part of the positive energy collective (heaven) where negativity cannot exist.. It is truly that simple. But I also would warn you that the Bible teaches on three levels. There are three messages in every story so if someone disagrees on Bible verses, don't be discouraged, they are just on a different level.

My analogy:
1. White Horseman: Conquest
it is carrying an arrow which indicates range. So maybe the conquest will be initiated peacefully through various means of mass media and journals instead of close physical interaction like in the old days.
2. Red Horseman: War
It will physically manifest the ideologies of the first horseman via use of weapons of mass destruction.
3. Black Horseman: Famine
After the destruction of all means of natural resources, it will conduct judgment (judging by the scale) via the control of the various major imports and exports of all resources. Thus leading people into starvation and famine.
4. Pale Horseman: Death
Death will then clear 1/4 of the population giving way for the new world.

I have also read different stories about the 4 horsemen, but they presented differentelly, there was war, famine, pestilence and death, meaning there will be wars, hunger and starvation, disease, and death things that we already see cause we have wars in different regions of the world, poverty and inflation in a lot of places, diseases i mean whe just had covid, not to mention cancer, and al sort of other diseases and finally death, but now i hear this story where conquest replaces famine and it kinda intrigues me, because both the stories with pestilence but also this with conquest make sense and also the white horse, because when i think about conquest i think about globalizattion and the antichrist and the new world order, in the Romanian books from the Bible that i read it said that the antichrist will come disquised himself as Christ as a good samaritean which could simbolyze the white horse, showing fake compasion, making fake miracles creating fake peace, deceiving people and them bring all the nations of the world under one single goverment which does fits with conquest, anyway after he will succed to do that he will start to show his true colours and he will demand to be worshiped as saviour and as the new god he will demand people to wear his mark as a symbol of worship and loyalty to him and those who will refuse will be persecuted and exilled out if society they will not be allowed to enter shops and buy necesary things, they will not be allowed to pay their taxes and their homes, lands, businesses, property will be taken and eventually they will be persecuted, some will run and hide in the mountains, other captured, imprisoned, tortured and killed, but pestilence as a horsemen also makes sense cause whe just had covid, we have cancer which is a whide spread disease, and many others diseases, so both conquest and pestilence make sense as horsemens, but in the end remains to be seen which of this versions will be true the one with conquest, war, famine and death, or the one with war, pestilence, famine and death.

What if these four colors refer to a deeper meaning...Say, colors of a flag charging into battle? What flag/flags have these four colors in common or a combination of these colors? I am just adding insight to this discussion. I so anticipate everyone's response.

The 4 Horsemen were the 4 seasonal priests. They taught in the Vestry House in Qumran. Each priest carried a colored banner signifying which season he taught in. The banner would be placed on the chair (horse) he taught from in the vestry house. The priest for Summer carried a white banner (associated with noon and south). He taught June, July and August. This was Theophilus Annas. 'LION'. He taught Mark's Gospel. The priest for Autumn carried a red banner (associated with sunset and west). He taught September, October and November. This was Ananus the Younger, the Samaritan, the Sariel. 'CALF'. He taught Luke's Gospel. The priest for Winter carried a black banner (associated with midnight and north). He taught December, January and February. This was Ananias the Samaritan, the Raphael. 'MAN' He taught Matthew's Gospel. The priest for Spring carried a green banner (associated with sunrise and east). He taught March, April and May. This was Atomus the Cypriot, the Gabriel. (Death). 'FLYING EAGLE'. 'Hades' was Herod Antipas. Atomus taught John's Gospel. Here is the meaning of Rev. 6: 6. At 4 pm, the time when Gentile fees were given. I heard James Niceta, head of fee paying Gentiles, on the Chancel step before Apollos say, "Initiated Gentiles are to pay a denarius entrance fee. They are to pay over 3 years, a 3d of a denarius each year, from Grade 9 'barley' to Grade 7 'wheat'." There are also Gentile celibates. Do not exclude Gentile celibates who drink fermented wine.

What I believe will come to pass. Nothing less nor more.
You should look into the prophecies of basically most Catholic Saints and Mystics, they all prophesized about the Great Catholic Monarch, the rider on the white horse, the Great Giant Angel in Rev Chapter 10 that brings peace on earth, and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Her Most Profound Wisdom) to the whole world before the time of the antichrist.
Why does Mary think she has wisdom? She is not above, but rather a ruler of below. She was given a knowledge in which said power rules over all man kind, being through the way. Babylon is fallen, fallen indeed. She also doesn't deny this, to me at least. If man still hasn't caught on to this, it is her whom is fighting with who she crucified as being her God. It sure does appear that a couple rulers down here are trying to cause as much chaos possible, and tell as many lies possible in regards to what is True to further lead man kind farther astray from God. Why would someone, who claims to be God to whom God sent to the world, seek to further confuse man more than they already are?

1. Wisdom is a woman, her pronounce is “She”. In heaven, there is only one woman body and soul, according to the Catholic Teaching, it is Mother Mary. Or Wisdom was destined to be incarnated into a woman since Her creation before the Angel.
2. Wisdom is the only spouse of the Holy Spirit. Mary is also is only spouse of the Holy Spirit. No need more explanation 💁🏻♂️
3. Tradition continuation from the Love of the wise jews, the prophets, king david and king solomon, the essense for Lady Wisdom. Catholic continues that tradition, the exceptional love for Mothed Mary who is the personified Lady Wisdom. 🙏🏻❤️

Many scholars now-a-days believe it was less the end of the world in a literal sense and more a prophecy for The Fall of The Roman Empire. Which, to many at the time, was the whole world.

I don't see the first white horseman as the anti christ or Jesus Christ because the bible doesn't say. Only the 2nd white horseman is called Jesus Christ. The king of kings & lotd of lords.
