I love the real life element of your videos Pat. No gimmickry, no sales pitch, no ego - just a great bit of wild camping and some interesting discussion. Never change Pat. Wonderful and inspiring!
It is always great to see a notification of a Patrick Dickinson video pop up. Like so many others who have commented, I think we all have an appreciation for what you do and you just have the knack of engaging your audience from start to finish on your camping adventures. Thank you for this latest installment and take care big D.
The whiskey tasting was fantastic.. years of experience comes through in Your words Patrick... I feel like so many watchers you are like a mate and we have never met ... I hope to do some camping myself with my sons show them how to survive in the wild...
Hi Keith, would be good to get out with your son's, that early introduction to camping could have the camping for the rest of there lives..... all the best Pat
Brilliant as always Pat......i guess knowing what time that car was torched will be crucial information for the police to check where and when it passed any local CCTV cameras although unless there was some serious crime connected to it the Police wont do anything because they are too busy arresting people on behalf of The Easily Offended Brigade :) Hopefully the Council will clear up the mess soon.
Hi Olan, a couple of ladies sort of took over and reported it to police, if no reports of crime with vehicle, I dare say it'll be up to the council to clear up all the mess, probably leave a nasty scar. A completely stupid act, probably worth thousands, but gave me a bit of drama and something to film, hoping for more relaxed camp next time..... thanks Pat
@@patrickdickinson6492 It makes you wonder what type of motive is behind an act like that doesnt it. They certainly dis a good job of destroying the vehical thats for sure.
Or that’s another brilliant video Pat ,great to see you testing out your winter gear ,and a whiskey ,my that’s strong ,love to try that One ,unfortunately burned out cars are coming back in our area again. Really looking forward to your next adventure. Brilliant 👍👍
Newish subscriber, Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos and how relaxing they are for me to watch after a busy shift in the emergency department..many vloggers don't talk enough for me and it's just endless silence and although I still enjoy their content, I much prefer your narration and Yorkshire accent...Hope this message finds you well ..take care and keep on keeping on...🙌🏼
Brilliant, you are a class act Sir. All been said in the comments, but worth saying again, salt of the Earth fellow that does real camping. I went with the Boys Brigade, when I was 11, to Edale. Loved it then, and still to this day. I'm 68 years. Peace be unto you.
Absolute favourite UA-camr. I started watching you while living in the UK and enjoyed your wildcamp videos and a cheeky pint under lockdown. After several years abroad I am now back in Scandinavia but your videos take me back to a simpler life, pints with friends, good whiskey and the many good things I loved in the UK. Cheers mate!
Really nice of you to say Seanjelle, yes alot of us shared a pint in lockdown, not too much else to do, pints with friends, what could be better than that..... thanks Pat 👍
Great video that. Had to laugh when you said your food was "quite basic" , 99% of wild campers seem to just boil up some flavoured noodles. Most of them really dont put any thought into their grub for some strange reason. Its so much more enjoyable with a decent meal. Oh and a hip flask with a wee dram in it.. Thanks for sharing, cheers fella👍
Patrick, I came across your channel 3 years ago when you was doing a vid about the lady bowers plug hole. You sir are a national treasure! love the vids and never change The car I’d say it was a Land Rover discovery sport too
Hi Russell, remember that, got a bit of adrenaline flowing that one, bit calmer now just relaxing in my ⛺ tent.....oh and a wee dram.... all the best Pat
We always love your videos, you convey a lot of warmth in your personality and manage to make it like you are speaking to us through the camera, keep up the good work and see you on the next one :)

Hello Pat. Fantastic to hear your voice. You sound great! What a night:) Craig. Tomorrow I am travelling with work to Asia in business class. It’s the only pleasure of the trip but I would swap 2 weeks in the Far East in a 5 star hotel to do what you do for just one night. In a heart beat. I dream of camps like this. Perfect. Thanks for sharing.

Great as usual Pat. Good to see you back out. Hope you get the camera sorted. That happened to me once I got lucky it landed in the grass. The wind has a lot to answer for. Hi Pat, another great wild camp. could even see meersdale where i live, before your camera broke bless you, and the follow up to the night fire being a burnt out car, just goes to show you never know what is going to happen on each and every wild camp. Thankyou!
Greetings! Again! You inspire me. I am your age, and still strap on the pack and go wild camping; in the U.S. in Vermont, and end of November in Nepal, trekking about and breathing in the mountain air...and tipping a pint or two. Cheers Mate!
Hey up Pat, It's like seeing an old friend pop around the corner. Another relaxing compostion ,thoroughy enjoyable. I could almost taste that malt with you.'slaìnte' Car was probably an insurance job ,that's my guess. ATB Pat. Michael.😊👍
Hi Pat. Another great video. If you like those chocolate sponge puddings then give the toffee one from Iceland a try. I always have one on my camps to warm the cockles.
Hi pat. Brilliant video. So natural. Like so many other people Comments. Your video skills are brilliant. Shame about the car That could have been a lot worse. As moorland fire. Loved the whisky review so funny on the first mouthfull. Stay safe my friend. Old dave.

Thank you for another great video, I find them very entertaining and relaxing in the evening. Take care my friend. I'm in the same age group as you and live in Ashbourne not too far away.

Hi Patrick,
Watching your video yesterday, among a few others, made my long journey by coach to Sheffield all the more enjoyable. Bravo dear chap for another excellent video.
The Range Rover blaze certainly added an unusual dimension to your wild camping session. Although I often thought about wild camping, I usually ended up scaring the wits out of myself as I considered personal vulnerability aspects whist camping alone in an open expanse. Those were days before cell phones. That was one of the chief reasons I favoured camping at designated sites - not that protection was anything like brilliant.
I certainly envy your courage Patrick, but you have valuable knowledge of where, and how to go wild camping, as well as bivying. Knowledge like those are a huge contribution towards a good wild camping experience.
Me too dear chap! ‘Twas Dore Scouts that planted the camping bug in me LOL!
All the best from Phil.
