What you are saying makes perfectly good sense. The funny thing is, that when I am really feeling the groove, I find myself in the hunched over position, and often have my eyes closed as well.
In another earlier video you mention that one should not force a posture yet here you differ. I’ve sat low, medium and now high, I’m 6’1” and have long arms so I find sitting high and in a “cantilevered” posture allows for enough room so my hands don’t land on my thighs when playing the snare. I sit way back on the seat to the point at which my legs actually feel like they’re dangling over the pedals. I’m happy with all of this, except for the way my feet feel playing heal up. The bones in the ball of my foot seem to be getting irritated. Thoughts Doctor?
that's an Ashkenazi spinal problem. Other issues Buddy had were cardiac and brain tumour. That particular group of people have a history of fairly serious genetic health issues. Rich=Richman=Reichmann (German Ashkenazi)
