Limb wise he decided to take the drums to another physical level sure. but the best drummers, Gadd, Chambers, Vinnie, Hakim, Steve Smith got all the work from the best artist from jazz, jazz fusion, rock, funk, r & b.

I am currently working on my own You Tube 2021 living dangerously, I have discovered the video is extremely boring to watch due to the fact most of my 2020 and 2021 I have been watching, listening and reading everything I can obtain on Virgil Donati! We are very lucky to be alive with this great virtuoso. We must NOT let out hero's pass before we appreciate their greatness! We drummers have a live in person Buddy Rich 2.0 in the flesh, lets show him the appreciation he deserves! Peace from Detroit MI.
Virgil, your take no prisoners approach to playing is so imbedded in the psychology of who you are as an individual that surrendering in any other area of your life is an aberration that is ejected immediately.. Thank you for being such an inspiration through your stolid dedication to pushing through the barriers that many find impossible to breach.
