WHO IS TERRY BOZZIO?
Terry Bozzio is one of the modern-day masters of the drum set. His drumming for Frank Zappa, Missing Persons, Jeff Beck and a host of today's top artists has become legendary. His solo concerts have been acclaimed around the world as entertaining and inspiring. His incredible drum set includes 26 tom-toms, 8 bass drums, 53 cymbals and 22 pedals.

WHO IS VIRGIL DONATI?
Virgil’s drumming has arguably been at the leading edge for many decades, with his accomplished compositional and orchestration skills also gaining recognition. Never one to seek approval or security, he has maintained an introspective, independent mind, transcending traditional boundaries, always alert to the possibilities beyond the norm.

WHO IS HADRIEN FERAUD?
Hadrien Feraud was born into a very musical family. His parents -- who are also musicians -- immersed him at a very young age in various musical environments: rock 'n roll, blues, funk, R&B, new wave, and, of course, jazz. Hadrien immersed himself in profound studies of electric bass, analyzing the techniques of Jaco Pastorius, James Jamerson, Bernard Edwards, Nathan East, Christian McBride, Victor Bailey, Anthony Jackson, Skúli Sverrisson, Gary Willis, Matthew Garrison, Richard Bona, Linley Marthe and Jeff Berlin. Hadrien's talent on bass has become widely known throughout the world.

@@scottplaysguitar sure 25 years as a mix engineer with some credentials that can actually be looked up. Yeah off base. I mean I would love to say their mixes here are good but they're not.
Over time Bozzio has slowly become an instrument in his own right
Terry and Virgil have very different styles. That's why I love this jam
Everyone listening, sometimes proactively and sometimes reactively....but when you couple this with great technique from players who have a lifetime of musical history you get something special. This is fantastic.
Those sounds are unbelievable! The bass-drum of Virgil is deeper than deep. The sound guy did an excellent job indeed. Very nice to see these excellent musicians together

I think Bozzio reached another realm of virtuosity and complexity... Everything was in another level

he can be as virtuoso and other realm as he wants but if what he's playing is a bunch of shlt then whats the point. hint. it really is.

Terry has like the best stuff either on his kit, or as seen here on his percussion set-up. Virgil killed it as well. Major kudos to the sound guy, sounded raw but sounded beautiful at the same time. Very hard to capture a performance like that.

Amazing sound, so clean and pure - 3 monsters together, and we can see ther's absolutely no competition between then. Epic rythms with awesome tribal percussions and in between.. Hadrien Feraud, the good notes and vibes at the very right place, each time. It could last hours and hours for me, absolute power trio reinvented.

Terry is such an amazing drummer. The evolution in his playing throughout his career is incredible imo. From Zappa, to his midi electronic phase in 80’s/90’s, to his amazing unique giant drum kits with melodic note focused rhythms and his pairing of sounds/textures. His constant innovation and experimentation of his gear and drum kit setups. His Drum Tech “bless his heart” has such a huge crazy job of setup/tear down. So many drum heads to tune/change. Those intricate drum rack systems, look like works of art themselves. His behind the scenes drum tech crew /road crew work very hard to upkeep/maintain a setup like his

have you heard Virgil's solo albums? One of them has Virgil and Hadrien accompanied by a whole orchestral arrangement, then Virgil plays a piano prelude at the end. There's also plenty of valid music out there that's just rhythm!
